Yes this new venture was a great success as the trains were well packed, I'm sure they will do it again next December. Some of the places I filmed at looked so Different this time of the year with all the dead vegetation Tony. I think that's why I enjoyed the day so much.

The reason the steam engine was with the certain Diesels was to provide steam heating for the coaches.
I would like to give the ELR another visit in 2024 as its been a long time since I last went.
