I have to say, .. I love that!! One of the things that made me feel I'd never be able to own a Busa was I need a true sport touring bike for the wife and me. Now that I see a person can get luggage for it, a Hayabusa becomes a very real option.

Go for it mate, my wife and I went on a trip through the picos mountains then down to the algarve, across to Gibraltar and back up to Santander!
The Busa with the luggage is my perfect bike👌

Its great luggage! I gave it a bloody good test last year before the world went mad 😠 Rode to picos in Spain then down through Portugal to the algarve on to Gibraltar then back up! Busa didn't miss a beat and the luggage was spot on, went with the wife so had to carry alot of things😬

Excellent travelling option for the Busa. Lots of storage for sure. Can you get removeable liners for those cases? I opted for a Ventura bag setup on mine. I didn't want to make the bike wider. But I could zip two of their 55 litre bags together if I wanted to. This setup is definitely more secure and more of a practical way of doing things. So many overlook the Busa while it really is the swiss army knife of motorcycles with very little compromises!

Yes removable liners are available which makes life alot easier 👍🏻

Hi! How comfortable is it for long trips? Is it not very tired?

  • @SH-qq3fb

I am late to the comments section....but how was the comfort for your wife on the rear seat? Is there room for the thighs to not dig into the support bars or the panniers? My wife is small but my main concern is her thighs not digging into the luggage support bars or panniers. Looks like enough clearance but I am double checking as I can not afford return shipping to Germany from the USA if there is a problem. Thanks and nice set up and video.

    • @KeepItWheel
      @KeepItWheel  Год назад +2

Sorry for the late reply, there is more than enough room only downside to the luggage is it does make the bike quite wide so filtering could be a problem? I highly recommend it tho

@@LINKchris87 I actually ended up getting a 2003 Hayabusa! I am so happy with it! I paid 5k for mine! It only had 8k on the clock!
Now I ended up also getting a killer deal on a 2009 VTX 1300C, so that ended up becoming my touring bike, so I never did buy this touring pack.
But if you are thinking about a Busa, just do it! It’s a fabulous bike! As long as it checks out maintenance wise, it’s a very sick bike!

    Hello.
    Really cool luggage system.
When you say that it's custom made, was the rack system made by H&B, or some local workshop?
Do you have any kind of sketch, or measurements for the rack that you can share with me?
I have a Gen 1 Busa as well, and I just bought Shad Sh36 on a real bargin. abou 1/3 of the price with just hand full of trips on it.
Now I've to addapt the supports to my bike. (I'm still thinking on how.)
It's a pity that for this kind of bikes we can't find that much options for luggage.
My old CBR1100XX had the same issue.
Well, when its done, maybe I post some a video to say to shad guys...Hey?!?! Shame on you, for don't thinking about this Queen as worthy bike for your luggage. :P Just see how sweet these panniers look on my Busa. hahaha. ;)
    Thanks a lot.
    Regards.

      Hi,
When I say custom I mean this particular system is made by H&B to fit the gen 1 busa and will not fit any other bike.....sorry to be confusing its just the way I talk🤣😉good luck with the luggage tho and thanks for the comments 👍

No buddy totally different but you still can get the back box the same but side panniers are alittle smaller at only 15litre this is due to the size of gen 3 rear end and the 'c' bow mounting system .I had a gen 3 myself last year and put this luggage on using it on a Scotland trip we did, was a defo game change but expensive. If you are in the market for this luggage I still have it and can do you a proper deal .Check out the hepco &becker web site for details .If you are interested please let us know
