Anne's marriage to Tim Lawrence seems stable. She is in her seventies. Seven relationships over seven decades is hardly remarkable. She dated some very handsome men. Andrew Parker Bowles was quite the womanizer. Despite all the talk about the love affair between Charles and Camilla, Camilla was very much love with Parker-Bowles. She considered it quite a coup to beat out the competition and "catch" Parker Bowles. When Parker-Bowles began to philander, Camilla turned to Prince Charles for comfort.

She was a bit promiscuous but the Firm wouldn’t allow Charles to marry Camilla for the same thing. He was told to marry a sweet virginal girl not who he wanted and loved.
I read that Queen Elizabeth gave Andrew Boyles an ultimatum: he had to make a decision between Camila and Princess Anne and that he better choose Camilla and so he did. Camilla had it easy. THAT'S for sure. Camilla withherhorse face could never have gotten the womanizer Andrew Bowles on her own. I think they used the word promiscuous as clickbait but also because we think of princess Anne is the iron maiden, almost like a soldier in war or the Joan of Arc of England but yet she was a very romantic, sexual woman it would appear and had flings before & during her marriage to her first husband. THAT is very typical of the aristocracy which is something Princess Diana never really understood or accepted. Of course, Princess Diana was a teenager and Princess Anne was much older. People made quite a few reflections on Princess Anne vis-a-vis Prince Harry but there's no comparison because she always did her duty and Prince Henry did NOT after marriage do his duty as is abundantly obvious. PEOPLE say she was beautiful, I guess each to his own. SHE had a big nose which I've noticed a lot of aristocrats had until Princess Kate came along who actually has a boxer's nose even after the nose job she had done prior to her wedding-- sort of flat and broad and short-- but it seems like most aristocrats have these big noses. Also, Princess Anne had an overbite which actually makes me think of our Appalachian folk who can't afford braces. But each to his own.
Good on her!! Look at her, she's settled and happy with her life and just get on with the royal job with no complains no fuss and no dramas like some wannabe royal of today.👍🏼👍🏼
7 love affairs. A normal woman. I never thought she was much of a looker when we both were young. But now I can see, she was quite beautiful. She seems very dependent on men. And a married man with kids. Not so nice.
She was looking for someone similar to her father. It’s very clear. Not all her father’s characteristics. But the out doors her and her father loved hunting, horses, sports, military. She took the part of her father she loved and looked for it in men, but she also looked at the things she hated and made sure they were not totally like her father.
She seemed more disdainful towards Diana than jealous . . . and for good reason. Anne has never appeared to look for media attention as Diana did; nor has Anne ever seem to crave being a celebrity as Diana did. Diana was vacuous; Anne is substantive.
The Press has always been happy to give Anne a free ride, because she is not photogenic and her face did not sell newspapers. So they largely ignored her - they had Diana to harass instead, poor woman. Incidentally, Mark Philips’ accidental child in New Zealand was known about by the public, at least in New Zealand, long before she was seven, as this film claims. It’s a great pity her half brother and half sister have never been allowed to meet her. The Windsors are an icy lot.
Interesting how people are justifying her behavior. In a small town o outside of New Orleans having more than one partner even divorce still holds stigmas.
Anne is truly a wonderful member of the royal family, working graciously and sacrificially for England. Like her mom, she never explains, never complains. The term “promiscuous” is mean and false.
Good for her. She had a great youth. Now she plays it so straight. However irreverent and more fashionable, if you will, that she was, now she's buttoned up and channeling her older mother. A very serious woman, and a bit dry and stuffy. People change over years. Of course I think she has an eye over her odd and egoic older brother. Ah, what a messy quadrangle it was. The one who lost out on all the shenanigans, was poor Diana. Hearing all this, turns me off to these supposed blue bloods.
Anne’s divorce from mark Phillips was more scandalous than it needed to be. They were pressured by the royal family to maintain a facade that fooled no one until they became embarrassing. Then the queen and her advisers had to stop the bleed. The British taxpayers were not going to support an international punch line and the royal family can be referended out. This could have been avoided if Anne and mark had been able to make their own decisions years earlier. Once they were no longer forced to maintain a loveless marriage they got on rather well. They cooperated for the sake of the children and got on with their own lives. Unfortunately the delay cost Anne and Tim children. He was a younger bachelor who would have liked children of his own. By the time they were free to marry she was 40 years old and she never became pregnant. The same mistakes were made with the micromanaging and mismanaging of princess Margaret’s marriage and prince Charles. Their subsequent divorces were much more scandalous than they needed to be. They were only settled after they became international punch lines. In one of the few honorable things he ever did, prince Andrew put his foot down and insisted on negotiating his own separation and subsequent relationship with Sarah Ferguson. Perhaps if he had been more mature during the marriage they’d still be together and he’d have lead a different life. Hopefully someone like prince William and those who advise him will finally get in the same century as their subjects and learn from the mistakes of the past
When offered the letters, the reporters declined using them because they said the royal involved was hardworking and deserving of happiness. At the time, the fact that Anne was the author of the letters was unknown. Although Anne was not easily accessible to reporter, she had won the respect of the press.

@@cissiepierce664No. You are right- it IS unflattering and not usual for this day and age but ad is correct. Upper class women pick a style early and stick to it, but Anne is quite practical and she Is a military- minded woman.
I agree with the title ! She acts so puritanical now , such an hypocrite, what does she actually do! What does her lazy horsewoman daughter do! Still pursuing horseback riding as a job! She not a nice person!
Thank you Princess Anne.
Well it was known of in the circles
They put Megan Markle’s promiscuous life to shame.
No ones bussines? like hello?
Well she was just like Harry she defied the family she has no right to be judgmental.
A Very evil sinful world continues
She was a bit promiscuous but the Firm wouldn’t allow Charles to marry Camilla for the same thing. He was told to marry a sweet virginal girl not who he wanted and loved.
None of these matter. What matters is she is an epic Royal and exemplary woman.
Live your Life girls.
Everyone is young once but she seems to still be very judgemental to others sexual stages
She saw how miserable her Aunt Margaret was and vowed not to let the crown stop her from being happy.
Watching this I feel like Richard Meade was the one who got away. She broke up with him, because her father didn't approve of the 12 year age gap.
Can she just switch that beehive hair style...just once.
Richard Meade was so handsome.
She had such beautiful skin
SO !?!?!😮
She was looking for someone similar to her father. It’s very clear. Not all her father’s characteristics. But the out doors her and her father loved hunting, horses, sports, military. She took the part of her father she loved and looked for it in men, but she also looked at the things she hated and made sure they were not totally like her father.
Anne's so-called "promiscuity" occurred for the most part before her first marriage; Diana's promiscuity occurred after her marriage vows.
I found her to be rude and jealous of Diana
She seemed more disdainful towards Diana than jealous . . . and for good reason. Anne has never appeared to look for media attention as Diana did; nor has Anne ever seem to crave being a celebrity as Diana did. Diana was vacuous; Anne is substantive.
Promiscuous? Did she have more relationships than Diana? Harry? Charles?
She didn't. She's a saint compared to them.
The Windsors are an icy lot.
if she had an active love life lets applaud that. She should be able to have her relationships in private but if not let's applaud her
All the royal family stories are told, right here on you-tube. Why shouldn't her's be told also?????
I can really understand the love of horses. I could never get over my fear of them.
Going out with young men does not mean a person is promiscuous! Terrible to say that about anyone! Please check up on the explanation of the word!
Cuando se es joven es normal tener varios romances
She is beyond ❤️🌹Precious and I love her, 🤗dearly.
Interesting how people are justifying her behavior. In a small town o outside of New Orleans having more than one partner even divorce still holds stigmas.
Good thing then that the Royal Family and all the rest of us don't live in a small town outside of New Orleans.
Princess Anne is gutsy lady❤
Sandy was lovely Anne❤❤❤❤❤
I thought so also ❤
I thought Richard Meade was lovely ;)
This is really an unpleasant point of view.
I wouldn’t exactly call princess anne and her couple of boyfriends promiscuous
Did Peter Crosses wife have a need of him?
I like the expression very much. Perhaps too much red.
Anne is truly a wonderful member of the royal family, working graciously and sacrificially for England. Like her mom, she never explains, never complains. The term “promiscuous” is mean and false.
🥰 back in the day gorgeous lady
She would have married Andrew in a tick but Camilla had his heart.
Messy Quadrangle indeed! Diana found that out! Did she ever. I'm over these blue bloods.
Yes and so???
She was beautiful
When offered the letters, the reporters declined using them because they said the royal involved was hardworking and deserving of happiness. At the time, the fact that Anne was the author of the letters was unknown. Although Anne was not easily accessible to reporter, she had won the respect of the press.
Yes she had no problem sleeping with someone elses man...
