It’s just so weird to me that Mojang doesn’t add things like this. It seems like procedurally generating mine shaft tiles shouldn’t be that difficult so would it be difficult to have those tiles rigged with traps, treasures, and red stone? I don’t think so.
guess he kinda forgot it would be for survival, the main reason to go to a mineshaft is for resources and since you can mine everything it would not make much sense but if someday something similar is added im going to hunt those to learn how to replicate them (and also free redstone stuff) :D

Similair to jungle and desert temples - beginners are the only ones likely to fall for it, intermediate+ players just mine all the redstone and loot then get outta there. Devs would never add anything so intrecate as Mumbo's - just too many resources

Hrabia Rak von Vrijheid Minecraft could not make such a thing, the generator needs to make a lot of assumptions, so rails could be blocked by slabs, and such. Also much more out of place stuff.
If that piston with the diamond block was on a clock, then it could give you a chance to replace the diamond with something else quickly like in Indiana Jones but only if you're fast.

Like you come to a big room too many layers of gravel to travel back in time for the door to close so you have to run to the other side before the walls close in
If you really dont know: T-Flip-Flop turns a button into a lever by sending out a single pulse; that single pulse "breaks" the sticky piston into making him not able to grab onto the block and it being moved only once. Using it the second time does the exact opposite: moving the block towards the piston.
I think making it so that dungeons that spawn in an abandoned mineshaft were decorated like the bunkroom Mumbo built would be cool. It would make it seem more naturally generated if the ridiculously old school dungeons that often spawn in abandoned mineshafts just got a slight visual and technical upgrade, but were still a little copy-pasted.
Yeah but if it was added to the game I doubt that they would be too common, just so if a Redstone engineer finds it they wouldn't be able to make as much stuff

If you really dont know: T-Flip-Flop turns a button into a lever by sending out a single pulse; that single pulse "breaks" the sticky piston into making him not able to grab onto the block and it being moved only once. I think making it so that dungeons that spawn in an abandoned mineshaft were decorated like the bunkroom Mumbo built would be cool. It would make it seem more naturally generated if the ridiculously old school dungeons that often spawn in abandoned mineshafts just got a slight visual and technical upgrade, but were still a little copy-pasted.

I love this one! Maybe have a daylight sensor redstone contraption that opens mob spawners (the little dungeons maybe?) to punish people who don’t sleep when nightfalls in a mine/cave.
