As this program is taken in conjunction with St. Clair College, students will have the opportunity to apply for a student visa. However, we recommend that students do the option that works best for them and their needs when deciding to practice dentistry in Canada.
Does this program grant a work permit during/after study so u can cover living expenses during the whole process of equivalency?
Hi, i am a post graduate dentist in India and i am fascinated with this program. My only concern is that this is a diploma program, and applying for diploma program after post graduation is resulting into rejection of visa. Do you still suggest me to apply for this program?

What is the fees charged for the program?

1st, is it needed to have work experience to get into this program?
2nd, as the students, take this course to work as a dentist in Canada and to get a student visa you should say in your student visa application that you want to come back to your country, which is confusing, do you assist with the visa process or not?
And if not so, what is your suggestions to get the visa

That will be determined through our Eligibility Application at prepdoctors.typeform.com/to/ssF6G2KM?typeform-source=prepdoctors.ca.
Yes, students will have to apply for a student visa for this program. We work with a team to help students complete this process once they are eligible to apply for it. You cannot apply for a student visa without confirmation of enrollment into any program.
does we have to pay for acs coaching during open work visa.. or it is included in the 10000 grants we pay to prep Doctors.??

You would need to pay for the ACS course separately. Prep Doctors does not have a grant program at this time.

Yes, the intake for January closed a little bit ago, but we are currently doing intake for September. Not to worry, this will give you plenty of time.

After graduation with this diploma, what kind of jobs we are eligible to work till we clear all exams of getting dental licensure?
I mean under which NOC codes we could get job?

Following completion of the diploma, students will still need to complete the equivalency process with the ACS exam and the Written + OSCE Board Exams to gain their licensure in Ontario. That being said, students can receive roles as dental assistants during that time after graduation.

Can I opt for just one exam i.e. AFK exam

Hello Doctor,
You must complete the full equivalency process to achieve licensure in Canada, you cannot stop after AFK. If you are looking to pursue a Canadian DDS, you would need to complete the ADAT exam after AFK and apply to a Canadian university from there.

Can I prepare for exams with online courses? I am dentist practising for 11 years
Hello Doctor,
Unfortunately, we do not offer our full courses online. We do however, have an online crash course option for our AFK course. This crash course is meant to be a brief overview of the material intended for international dentists looking to self study in their respective country. It is not meant to be comprehensive enough to prepare you for the exam by itself, that would be our full course.

In terms of work opportunities, you can work any job within the limits of a student visa which is 20 hours a week until you obtain a PR card and are eligible for full time employment. You may also be eligible to work full time during break sessions, based on the terms and limits of your student visa.

Thank you for your message. At this time, we don't have plans for this program to be in Vancouver because it is new. However, you can still take our courses in Vancouver as with St. Clair.

@@jerosan_ Hi, Doctor! If you would like to pursue a DDS, it is best that you do a bridging program. The process for this is to take the AFK exam and then apply for a bridging program that will enter you into a DDS degree. This program does not provide you with dental assistant certification. You may however, apply for "on-the-job" training programs for dental assistants after completing the program with any eligible licensing clinics.
