I agree. I love this unit. They don't make them like this anymore. All the newer condos are smaller SQM with smaller balconies. This was a great deal for the buyer!
It really depends on which area of Phuket. We have some older, seaview studio units starting from around 7 Million THB in the south of the island. If you want a new seaview 2 bed condo in north of island around Bang Tao area, it will be closer to 14 MB now.

the master bathroom is excellent. The living area would open up a lot without the l shape sofa. Are rental bargains starting to come on to the market now that tourist season is winding down?

Getting a mortgage as a foreigner in Thailand can be tricky. In certain cases it is possible, if you have a work permit, visa and regular income here.

Rental market here is still hot. Prices are higher than ever thanks to large Russian population renting out properties.
