      I mean he was literally second team all pro. So the second best QB. I just hope Dak goes to another team and actually does really well in the playoffs so we can finally stop blaming the players in Dallas and blame the real problem. Jerry Jones and the clown show he puts around his team every year. Romo had the same issues as Dak. The next QB they bring in is going to have the exact same problems. Dallas has a culture issue. A culture of underachievement.

      @@skillethead15Dak sucks he is under no circumstance an elite qb. He’s OKAY at best. Not a prolific passer, can’t throw anyone open. Have you seen him connect on a deep throw in the last 3 years? If you give Dallas a truly elite quarterback, last year‘s roster would have made at least the NFC championship game, probably would’ve gotten Dallas to the Super Bowl. Guy has a 30 quarterback rating in the first half versus Green Bay, was the biggest part of digging that hole and you guys think we should keep him lol.

    • @andresparry8104
      @andresparry8104 2 месяца назад +1

      @@skillethead15 I agree, it’s just fun to watch Nick’s troubled relationship with nuance. Dak is above average, which by definition is not mediocre. That being said, I think the pay of anyone player should not exceed a certain percentage of the salary cap. Football contracts need a more robust middle class rather than allocating vast sums to every solid QB. It breeds unrealistic expectations and resent when those expectations aren’t met.

      @@MaximusR93 “Ok” players don’t get voted second team all pro. Guess who led the league in TD passes? Dak Prescott. “OK” players also don’t do that. He’s more than “OKAY”. He’s a good QB in a clown show of an organization. And that elite roster you are talking about gave up 48 points to Jordan Love….
      Dak’s situation is Literally just like Stafford in Detroit. Detroit was a circus so Stafford never even won a playoff game. He goes to LA and immediately wins a Super Bowl. Dak could do the same thing. The Dallas Cowboys are a literal rodeo and it shows out on the field. I hope the Cowboys let him walk so we can see it. Jerry Jones has sabotaged the Cowboys for 30 years with his stubborn bravado.

    Here’s a good counter for JJ McCarthy, the reason they didn’t win the natty in 22 was because they lost to TCU in the semis because McCarthy threw two pick 6s

    • @michaelbrandon9791
      @michaelbrandon9791 2 месяца назад

      A few other things contributed to Michigan's loss to TCU, but sure blame JJ. Nevermind the fact that the defense gave up 37 points or the fact that Michigan had a TD catch overturned but let's talk about JJ for a second here because all everyone wants to talk about is how he never had to air it out or that Michigan is run heavy. Against TCU JJ attempted 34 passes for 343 yards and rushed for another 52 yards. Nearly 400 total yards. Yes he threw two interceptions which both resulted in defensive touchdowns (a result of which is a probability anomaly). A fluck or worse case scenario which ultimately lead to a loss. His only loss as a starter by the way. So let's entertain the alternative in which his two interceptions didn't result in any points and only a turnover of downs. Does TCUs offense capitalize on those possessions and score 14? Who knows, and that's not the point. This season Sanders, Williams, Daniels, Davis also accumulated multiple 400 yard games and also lost yet they're praised as more talented and explosive when in reality the thing they all have in common is that they're losers. JJ was a loser in his game against TCU and it was also his highest yardage performance and it was clear that while JJ was capable of putting up numbers, it doesn't win games.

    I am really stunned you guys did not bring up Trey Lance as a possible reason why Jerry might let Dak walk. I would not be surprised if Jerry thinks he has Dak's replacement in the building already. Seriously, Jerry can low ball Lance on a 2 year 'prove it' contract and at worse use him as a bridge QB. Dak was a 4th round pick, Trey cost him a 4th round pick.
    Jerry was super happy getting Trey, so Dallas seems to really value him. Plus, Trey is only 23 (24 in May), so he is super young and was the #3 pick over all... Jerry might feel everything that happened to him in San Fran was due to maturity and just starting to soon. He will have two years to sit behind Dak to learn, grow, and mature. Is Trey worth it? I don't know, but it does seem to be a valid possibility to me and at least worthy of discussion as a possibility.

    Dak shouldn't be taking less. Dallas is a winning organization for sure but a championship one? No. That's not their priority. If Dak wants to a championship, he'll have to go somewhere were they don't set him up with laughable situations. Like having Garrett and then Mike as your HC.
    Like Wildes said, Dallas pro bowl QBs do just fine post Dallas playing career. He can go to the Titans, Seattle or even Pittsburgh still be as good.
    Nick is jaded now with Dak/Dallas so now he wants to say he's mediocre. He's been better than Trevor, Stafford and Herbert over the past 2 seasons so that's far from it. He was the Dallas offense last year and that makes him borderline elite at least

    • @KingBadgersPit
      @KingBadgersPit 2 месяца назад

      @@KingBadgersPit that division is worse than Dak's so let's end the discussion there. Stafford was never a MVP candidate. Wasn't much as a winner until he got with a franchise that a championship or bust mentality. Even then, he was probably the 5th best player on that team.

    I think they’re downplaying the Sneed loss, KC only won the sb because of 3 straight 3 and outs.
