CapibaraHD Sadly, Lamb of God tends to be plagued by the general bad production American metal gets. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll get the great treatment that Machine Head does someday.
+Bryce Bruder That has nothing to do with bad production at all. The reason you don't really hear it is because its only supposed to enhance the track. If you took it away, you'd think something was wrong - exactly the effect they were after.
I always thought I kind of heard something symphonic in there, but I wasn't sure if I was just doing it on my head or not. Cool to hear that I wasn't just imagining it. It's so subtle.
that snare sound is my goal in life. And 3:59 did someone invite Clown from Slipknot to hit a barrel? This is such a treat to hear all the little things!
@Pamahana97 well lamb of god actually released the instrument tracks for their last 2 albums. Metallica I think did it for master of puppets and some bands you can rip the tracks off of rock band. But usually bands are pretty private about the individual tracks
+David Leidlein Do what Keup said. Use a SansAmp and DI into an effect channel. That's the most effective way I've found to get fat tone out of a bass and capture as much as I can without recording a distorted mess.
Wow, I'd never notice the keyboard backing otherwise

@@ChrisLarsenOfficial no but he’s right, they’re victims of the loudness war like everyone else

Chills....chills every where.........
That was epic!
that snare sounded like when i shot my mapex 300 with a 308 bullet
I thought it sounded like my grandma's 4.6 lincoln with super 10's.
patrick murdock its fucking beautiful if you ask me
The second half shreds !
Awesome 🤘
Fucking hell. This sounds so insanely good! Can't wait for their next album!
SPREAD THE METAL
Hitting the octaves in the chorus with the snare from 1:35-1:37 is such a bitch and is really being the hardest part of learning this song for me.
The quick 3-1-4-3-1-4-3-1-4 in the breakdown is also being a bitch.
This is such a perfect song to play while eviscerating everything in God of War 3.
Same with Splatterhouse.
campbell is fucking badass he is defo higher in the mix in wrath though...sounds the fucking balls.....!!!
THANKS MAN
Imagine this is doom or something 😮

@blackvein511 I did it all by myself using "Audacity" and single tracks by Producer Edition album version of Sacrament.

I want this tone... how???
+David Leidlein use a SansAmp for the bass as a pedal and you will see how it change your tone ;)

+ThisInsurrection Yeah i use a precision bass with SansAmp and Ampeg svt pro, and it's like the prefect FAT bass for metal ;)
Good man.
David Leidlein i use an ampeg b2re head, peavey millennium bxp bass, and an ebs billy sheehan signature drive and sounds just like it
download the original mp3 xD
I never even notice the fucking keyboard!!!
a ko
@Username14844 dude, mine are going in the bin!
I prefer justice without the bass personally
