...its uh... Its the same riff through the "console, destroy, absorb yourself" parts. Like, literally the song just repeats itself at the 1:30 mark, a slight change after that "failure" part, then it ends the exact same way it started. Vocals give the repetition some balance imo. But then again, mines just another opinion.

You can even choose to make your singing sound like you are roaring too. WaveGroup did the same thing in their Guitar Hero cover, and it worked since it matches with the song's brutal nature, while still being a fun song. Lots of metal songs sing that way. No need to copy Randy Blythe.
+eric kelly bullet for my valentine? the only reason that this was possible with lamb of god is because the song was in guitar hero so the individual tracks are in the games files. people attempt to mix them togeather to create an instrumental and as you can see it is not perfect. there are a few rhythm guitar parts missing during some sections

@numismaticsilver You're insane! What about bands like Opeth, Nirvana (although not really metal) and Amorphis, they would be nothing without their singers, Vocals add power and meaning into the song. As a vocalist, you see the crucial importance. all metal would be the same without vocals.
