Hi, I have a very large studio based 8 screen editing suite which I am looking to at least try and replicate for mobile use. I have settled on a Razer Blade 18 Laptop and both a UXBox T118 18" 4K Uperfect monitor for preview and grading etc. and a UStation Delta, folding dual portable monitor. This covers all bases and gives me pretty much the ultimate in flexibility for editing on the road. Cheers, Peter.

Cheers, glad you found a nice solution for your editing setup. That 18" 4k looks sweet.

Do you have scaling issues with that monitor? I have to use an app called better display to make mine usable.

It just worked out of the box for me. But, I also have BetterDisplay running in the background (though I didn't “have to use it” to get the monitor to work).
Depending on the resolution you are looking for, having to use BetterDisplay is actually normal on macOS and the reason the BetterDisplay app exists.

how can you bring it travelling without breaking?

I traveled with the 4k OLED version from Uperfect, and it's been fine. I usually just pack it in the center of my suitcase so that it is surrounded by clothing and other things to dampen any fall, push, or shove by the Airport staff. So far, no problems. Then in the countries, I pack it in my backpack laptop sleeve compartment.

Not sure what your plan is here? Connecting a HDMI in port of your Monitor with the HDMI in port of your TV? Both will wait to receive a signal?
