Hey bro. Thanks for the review 👍. I bought after watching your video 10 days ago ❤. This portable is so gorgeous. I am using it now as my second monitor to my pc
I didn't, haha you tried using a different cable? Otherwise how long have you had this for? If returning it is still available maybe consider that *maybe it's not getting enough power try giving it external USB power.
You won't find offical accessories for this but you can pick up a laptop carrying case like this s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDt7sLV but do check internal measurements. You can also pick up a portable Bluetooth keyboard like this s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DlXieZ1 and plenty of other options available at a lower price. (affiliate links)
I will buy a Hardshell Case, suitable for the Screen and/or my Tablet and for the Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard. It will be a nice ultra portable Setup for my S24 Ultra in DEX Mode. 😊
Could you please try to create a custom resolution in your GPU driver with a 50Hz refresh rate and check if the display will handle it? I'd like to use it with my PAL console (upscaled through retrotink to HDMI 50Hz signal). I had bought a different portable monitor from Aliexpress and unfortunately, it only supports a range of about 58-62 Hz so not really suitable for my use case. :-(
I no longer have this monitor I resold it as I only picked it up for review. These monitors from China typically have only a few display resolution profiles you can try using a tool like CRU or custom resolution from the nvidia control panel to see if that works. I don't think it has build in support for 50Hz but it may work as a custom resolution. I see other reviewers have made reviews for this monitor too you could try asking them to check this. Thank you
Yes but not with the included stand it will flip over in portrait. You'll have to find a better way to hold it in place, such as using clamp mounts etc
@@mattng4707 yes I do agree with the brightness you can see it in the video actually the monitor behind is very noticeably brighter but hard to complain at this price. 500 Nits or 550 Nits set you back around $110 dollars on Aliexpress but have seen some go as low as $80 during those sale events. Hope it helps
Unfortunately mine has arrived defective - it has circles of red pixels and streaks of bright spots. Otherwise very fragile, made with bendy plastic. It seems like a great choice for a display you will never move around, for example with a home lab or a server rack (or a dedicated Discord/twitch chat screen) but as soon as you put it into any bag it will just break. Overall, the picture and colors are alright if you don't get borked panel like I did. I have non-touch version so I can't tell how good or bad the touch is.
Thank you for sharing, that's very frustrating when things arrived damaged. How's the return for you? You bought from their choice store or directly/another seller on Aliexpress. I hope your return process goes smoothly! I agree if you aren't touching it, keeping it in one place and for indoor use it's a decent panel for the price but if you want tougher build quality there are other options that are better built, but nothing close to this price bracket 😊
@VrtuhubTech looks like a factory defect and poor quality control. It was a Choice store, sent photos, got refund accepted within few hours, now I need to print a label and send it back in order to get a refund... I'd rather get a working product because I otherwise like it. It's not smeary like some IPS portable displays I've had which is a prevailing issue with these cheap displays. I have 3k Uperfect OLED yet to arrive so fingers crossed that one will turn out better...
@@Micromation I've actually just published a review for the 3k 120Hz oled panel you speak off. It's truly amazing and build quality on that is high! Only issue I had not being able to reliably use it with a single type C cable, have to use two. It's possible just the touch screen version has this issue I've been told... A software issue for early adopter I guess lol. If yours arrives. You can check out my review here ruclips.net/video/J0wDyV_bapE/видео.html if you ordered the no touch and it works with a single cable do let me know please👍😊 also yeh worth ordering from choice sellers for the easy refund/return. Otherwise some sellers might request you return to China yourself lol
been looking at this for months and didn't find reviews then. I might grab this because I have a 16:9 portable monitor for travel and looking for more vertical space.
Yeh just keep in mind screen isn't very bright, it's reflective, the build quality isn't great and included stand is useless. For the price though it's okay value
anyone managed to find one of those folding cases thats compatible with this? so can protect the screen whilst travelling and then use the same case to act as a temp stand. community help needed please
Folio case and I don't believe any would work as the back is not magnetic for the folio case to attach too. You could try a stand like this s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EI0BbKd and buy a separate sleeve 14 laptop sleeve. However If you haven't already ordered this I'd recommend you just order a different portable monitor like this here Affiliate Link CX133-D-2.5K: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Dchyim3 CX133-C-2.5K: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EHovnMz
Yeh but you'll need to power the monitor separately. Alternatively they sell these adapters. Never used one before so can't guarantee compatibility but it combines a dp signal, a touch screen USB signal and a USB power signal into a single type C s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EIIE9Yl
Yes the macbook Air M1 has thunderbolt type C ports with support for DisplayPort so it would work. I also found "Minimum power output for the first port is 15W, and 7.5W for subsequent ports" so you should have no issues running full brightness if plugged into the first port. Hope that helps and clicking on the affiliate link even if you end up buying something else helps support the channel✌️ s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DlbDnFZ
I looked online for the 2015, it says HDMI video output using USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter so it might work. You might need two cables one it power it and one for display. If video through type C doesn't work you can use a HDMI dongle and use that
You'll need a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter. You plug that into the thunderbolt port on the imac then plug in the included hdmi to mini hdmi cable. You'll need to power the monitor separately, it does come with it's own USB cable and power adapter for power.
Hey, can you tell me the monitor dimensions? The product page only seems to have the package . measurements and I want to see if I can fit this screen inside my PC case lol
I no longer have this monitor but on the affiliate link I posted in the description if you scroll down and click show more it has a image with the dimensions of the monitor. 310mm wide and 320mm height. Hope this helps!
@@VrtuhubTech Oh, sorry, I didn't find that before lol. Thanks! Btw, is there a reason you don't have it anymore? Anything I should be worried if I plan on getting it?
