The funniest thing I saw about why Marty wasn't as effected by the chemicals as he should have been was that he kept a secret stash that he didn't tell his regular stash about so the company didn't know about it either.
The actor, Fran Kranz, was actually more ripped than Chris Hemsworth during the shoot. That‘s why they had him wear the baggy clothing. It also fit the trope.
This reaction doesn’t have anywhere near the amount of views that it should. Like… not even in the ballpark. Fire ass reaction. Thanks, y’all! New subscriber.
I dont want to be racist, Im Mexican living in L.A. But if this movie was with Black or Mexicans, this movie would of been over as soon as that Basement door opened. One look in there and most of us would be like "Theres a bunch of haunted stuff down there, screw that". Personally I also dont camp without something on me, from knives and machetes to pellet and shotguns but at least that would of been something.
But that's the plot of the movie. Everyone was drugged by the conspiracy group to act stupid, like dumb horror movie kids. Like, Hemsworth's character at the beginning of the movie is quoting which textbooks to use and not use, because he's a smart guy. But once they reach the cabin, and he's drugged up, he acts like a dumb jock.
@@ambamb310 They don't cover it in the movie, but I bet these kids were manipulated into being friends and then into taking the trip (Hey, my cousin just bought a cabin!). They didn't choose to go, they were chosen.
@@roykentseyebrows4196 I do get that that and I do realize white people can be just as cautious as well. But generally, when I go camping, at the very least everyone is armed with something. I also get they are college kids and thats less than likely as well, considering its usually adults that can afford weapons or in that protective mode. But even in my 20s when we were exploring that haunted asylum in Downey, we at least had knives and pellet guns. But i do get that this movie explains all the bad decisions but for the people I know people tend to be prepared for anything too.
i remember when i first saw this movie, rented it out the redbox. i watched it over at neighbors house. we're were confused at first but it made sense once you get to the third act and we see all the monsters, its basically a play on the horror movie tropes, the monsters are all references to horror movies like the dude with the saws in his body is suppose to be pinhead, the tv showing the stuff around the world is horror films from around the world like japan i believe was suppose to be the either the grudge or the ring. the ancient ones is us the audience because we go to see these horror movies year after year even though they all follow the same basic tropes
It's always so funny to me to se anyone watch this movie and say, "I would NEVER ______!" That's... that's the point? Neither would these kids, without being drugged and forced to do so. People run face first into the point and just keep running. I'm glad you guys clocked it.
Hi, I want to ask you, where did you find this version? I feel like it's clearer than the 'normal' version. I love this movie, and I've never seen it this clear before. The 'normal' version is very dark or has a dark filter, and you can barely see any details. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me.😢 love your channel🫂
Your right I'm white and we be taking alot of risks as a group. Pretty much everybody in my area has multiple guns though but even still avoiding the threat is not a problem
The line in the beginning where she said "You ok?I Iearned it from watching you!" is from an anti drug commercial from back in the day lol
It took me back. 😂😂 I guess they're not old enough for that one.

Stoner dude real asf in this movie, compared to most movies where the stoner is the stupid one
The real MVP

@@xenogenesis9635it wasn't baggy clothing. He wore like 5 layers.
@@SurvivorBrioh I was wonder why when he came back to life he looked extra thick. I didn’t notice it anywhere else.

Scary movies are like pizza if they're good they're good if they're bad you can roast them so either way it can be enjoyable
