Truck Rant: The 1 Day Install

A lot of companies get in too much of a hurry and pressure their installation Crews to install a system in one day, regardless of the scope of work, accessibility of the system, distance from the shop, etc. I think that is detrimental.

Agree 100%
Since I started in the trade 23 years ago, it has been this way at every company I've worked at. I started in installation. Still do them now from time to time.
I would add, not only is it inconvenient to the home owner when the guys work that late; it's also a huge inconvenience to the installers families. They all deserve better!
From the client, to the installers and the installers families. We have to do better.

Than what happens is the installers rush and don’t do things properly then us service guys end up going over there and spending a few hours straightening things up at no charge so it’s a double whammy all the way around.
