      How are you doing now? I had a similar work accident injury 3 months ago, ( workers comp made the diagnostics take forever to get approved, so I get an MRI in 2 weeks - finally ). Just curious what you ended up having done after your MRI?

    Why Are Ligament Tears So Hard To Detect From X-Rays ?. & Only Noticed In Physical Sets Of Examinations & Tests/Wrist Arthroscope & Some Times MRI-Scans ?.

    • @justinjones7631
      @justinjones7631 3 года назад

      X-Rays are only able to detect hard tissue (bone). Ligaments are considered soft tissue so they don’t show up on an x-ray

    I have a bubble on the inside of my wrist that moves around in my wrist when I clench my fist. I had a nurse check it out and she said its not in the vein not life threatening. I hav to wait 2 weeks to see the Dr. Just curious because no one has ever seen anything like this. Any ideas what it could be ?

    I broke the ulnar styloid process and tore my ligament with it , its was 8 months ago by now , yet I feel pain and discomfort as I lift weights at the gym , is there anything I need to include in my diet ? or something that could make it back and better to 100%
    Thank you.

      so with out treatment.. HOW are your doing today? My dr messed up and its been since 2020 july. he thought i had a DARN STRAIN.. nope its bad. but now there waiting for another dr for me to help.. BUT ALL I READ its TO LATE for people like you and me.... You have a 3 month golden period to get it fixed.. I guess i had fractures from my fall also.. yet all the dr did was xray me and guess and fracturs with what i have are hard to see with xrays and MRI even same with the damage to ligaments .. o.t for me did nothing.. SEEN another DR. he bent the hell out of it and now since then it hurts like hell.. Getting a MRI soon. I am like WHY nothing can be done and i can not afford stuff anymore lol . SORRY tired and my wrist hurts like hell from typing to drs and WORK comp peple all day over this BS. (just wondering how you are doing , and is there anything you did to help your pain.. I am guessing your might have some arthritis cause nothing was done? I am guessig its what i have now along with the tear.. Where it hurts its a bad place.. THOUGH sadly i have a stupid pain tolerance due to a broke back when i was younger...

    Complete and utter bull. Sever tears are hardly ever the case. If you just rest it for 2 days and then do minimal activity for a week, you should be fine. Ignore this, just promoting surgery. Don't waste your money!

    • @bronson1269
      @bronson1269 7 лет назад +3

      It went away for you in a week? I'm 2 weeks into my injury and can't put much weight on it at all. It hurts to pour a glass of milk. It has gotten better since day 1 though. It used to hurt twisting my hand now I can do that without a problem just weight bearing is hard.

      Whether or not surgery is the answer to the healing of a wrist injury, I can vouch for resting it for 9 days most definitely NOT being what solves the problem in every case.

    2:00 Is 90 days timeline paramount for whole scapholunate rupture only or is it for a partial rupture too? Thank you.
