Also the unfortunate second part to this fact is that even though you get to keep the minerals that aren’t deposited, they won’t go towards your exp count for minerals mined. If there’s not a thousand enemies or you still have plenty of time at the end of a mission always worth it for that extra bit of exp per mission
13:17 as a scout, grappling the floor mitigates all fall damage 14:05 you dont need to deposit, it will count for the end rewards if you escape with the gold in your inventory (this is true for every non-objective mineral)

fun fact (that you might actually know by now), stuff in your inventory is auto deposited on mission completion, except secondary objective items
