I'm so glad you guys made this. I played the Bear a few weeks ago and went with urethane down 10. Glad to know I played it relatively correct. Bear felt like a higher volume house shot to me but I could be wrong
Nice dance moves, guys. If you need lessons, I can help, lol! 😂 Great advice on the 41’ Bear pattern. I bowled on it back in January and no one gave me tips on how to attack it.
Hey Brad. We spoke in Overland Park about one of these videos from 4 years ago, how much it helped me. Glad to see these are coming back. Keep killing it
Love the videos i wish this was posted few days ago. And we did are league tournament on the bear and it gives me a lot of trouble. Keep up the work id love to meet both of you sometime. Keep rollin
every video i see talks about high rev, high speed, but not all of us bowl like that- can we see a video tailored to low speed, low rev players? layouts, balls, strats etc.
Great video guys! Not sure if you've already done a video on this but it'd be nice having you explain what leaves should tell us about our throws, balls, or where we're standing. For example, I throw a Nova down lane and leave a 3-6-10, how should I adjust off that leave? Or if I leave a a split? Should I do a ball change? Move left, aim right? I think you guys do a great job at explaining your thought process behind making adjustments and I'd like to hear from y'all on this. I know there's a lot of different variables that can contribute to different leaves so maybe we can do a typical house pattern with a mid range rev rate player? Also, still waiting for that Brad & Kyle ball!
Circa 2017-18, I bowled 2 summer leagues (total ~70 games) averaged 172 on the Bear pattern. Like threading a needle. Typically I avg 220 on a house shot.
Great video always like to get advice on how to read the lanes better. I think it would be cool if after youve been on it for awhile you took shots showing like game2,3,4,5 etc progression and what ball choices you made and why
That’s interesting that there’s not enough reactive hook with reactive balls on this pattern. I’d figured that the GEM would be the perfect ball for the pattern.
Where are you looking on release?? I start by looking at front dots for warm up then 1 foot farther . See if my eye likes that . But I mostly focus on 2nd -3rd arrow area
I feel like the exponent is a high rev vibe. Where as you don't need as many revs with the vibe for the same reaction... hmm vibe transition to exponent sounds good now.
Really depends on topography, imo. Bear’s not the hardest, but certainly playable with reactive. That said, have to make your shots, like any PBA pattern.
On patterns like this, you either make shots or you don’t, even with the correct ball in hand. These patterns tell you the truth about your execution and ball choices.
Love the dance moves in describing the Phaze V motion 😅. Really like this vid, great breakdowns and descriptions. I think you guys do the best instructional vids.
How to Play a Pattern: IT DEPENDS. This has been my Ted Talk.
Absolutely! But seeing how the pros approach getting lined up and equipment selection really helps!

Love this video. Looking forward to more 👊
Funny hip dancing 😂🤣 Thanks guys for all the info and tips
Awesome! will you also be doing other oil patterns? Like Phoenix and Cheetah?
They did the cheetah but not phoenix

Bowling on the Bear this weekend....however on wood lanes....so lucky me 😅

Bowling this pattern for the first time this week very interested to see how it goes lol PBA league has been kicking my ass

BRAD AND KYLE!!! One hi, two I love you guys and helped me so much and 3 how can I focus on target more?

@@neilfrank2198 currently I stand on the far left dot and aim at the centre arrow and want to aim on the 3-2 arrow on the right
Don’t worry Kyle, I appreciated that at 2:25 😂
Id be happy to figure my league pattern!
Does throwing urethane on the outside on a pattern like this, at least in practice, push some of that oil inside to create more hold?
Would the Duo and Xponent belong in the same bag or are they too similar?
Bring these back!

Surface adjustments?
What surface was that gem at?
Bowled on this, it’s so hard 🤣
We want to see Kyle bowl!
If you can’t throw the Revenant on this then Storm missed out on a great opportunity since it smells like a Bear Claw! 😂
Really depends on topography, imo. Bear’s not the hardest, but certainly playable with reactive.

The beer pattern would gain more followers.

Are you bearish on this pattern? 😂
First first!
talk too much
Stop talking so much just bowl
They are teaching you how to bowl on this pattern. Of course they're gonna be talking.
