Hi from Australia. I have made a loom myself at woodworking class, by converting or using an old standing embroidery frame I had, could not find steels for the sides so I used old golf stick sharfs. It is great. I am making them to join and make a hall runner. I have made 3 and onto my 4th now. Just to let you know you inspired me greatly. Only thing is arthritis in hands, so I do a few rows every night. Been having a break, doing other projects. Using old cotton curtains, sheets etc and long edge scraps. Thank you very much for your videos. Blessings, light and love.🦋🇦🇺
Hi, Lea-Anne. That's fantastic. I knew others would love to make things by twining. You made my day. Your craftiness got the loom done and onward you went. It's addicting but productive! Thank you for your note! Jan
Glad You pleased, thank you so much for your response. You are a lovely person for sharing. Winter here so will do a bit more in front of fire. Take care and thank you.🦋🇦🇺
I've made a couple place mats ,but it's been along time between, also I was never shown how to finish it off. So now that you have so graciously shown your technique , I can now start up again . Also I need a bigger loom. I see someone make them if I'm not mistaken on videos. Guess I'll find out ha ? Lol but still thank you so much. I'm very happy.
