I think this has one of the strongest verses on the album. The way it sits down low and brooding at first, then builds towards the chorus.
The whole thing has a real creepy and unsettling vibe to it. Love it.

the sound of the drums and bass at the beginning when James sings is awesome. both drums and bass sounds like a heart beating.

great song, i think that the vocal delivery on this album is absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!!!! and the riffs are just f*cking sweeetttt!!!! So much diversity, i mean, just when u think it's the same riff or a repeat, they just go into anoter one...love this album, and also a great reaction! i was the same, i recorded but me being human deleted when i was doing some stuff with the camera, oh well, anyway doesnt matter. This album has the groove man

The Riff before the chorus is, in my opinion, one of the best 3 riffs of the album with the riff before the first verse at Atlas Rise and the Riff in the beginning of Moth Into Flame. Such an underrated song. For me, after Halo on Fire, Spit Out The Bone and Moth Into Flame, the best song of the Album.

Halo On Fire is pure Load era, man. It's a lot like Bleeding Me and The Outlaw Torn.
Definetely one of my favaourites. That way of making grow the energy on this one is so good... Heavy, then calm down a little bit (wich is so awesome) and then little by little becoming more heavy... Thanks James Hetfield!!! haha

The first time I've listen to this song I didn't pay attention to the video but then I've watched it carefully a few times and the song got another meaning 1000 better ! Wicked album! I've listen to it don't know how many times now and all the songs kick ass! I sing and headbang myself all the time now

By far my favorite song off of the album, moth coming in a close second. I think Kirk did a great job with the solos on both songs, but the main riffs are just fucking insane.
I like spit out the bone but I don't really feel awestruck like most people... maybe I just have to listen to it a bunch?
