2 curved "whisker" wires curved back & mounted between the nose & the wing leading edge will keep the belly off the ground & are very hard to see in flight. Works great for Gear-Up situations.
Wow! You are doing all the things with rubber R/C I've been dreaming about for years. I was a little disheartened the Chambermaid didn't climb like some of your other planes, but that's scale models for you. I look forward to the Silver Streak video if there is one in the making. I have the framewok of a 24"-ish Curtis F6-C that's been hanging from my shop ceiling since 1985. I still need to sand the lower wings. Thanks for posting. Your output is always the highlight of my day.
Great build You do a very good job building and flying and adapting to you're confined area to fly Good tips on you're channel I'm considering building same model looks like great kit However Hummingbird model products has a 24" short kit that's looking pretty good too a bit pricey though Keep up the videos Mr Math 🤙
Thanks, I got a huge roll of polyspan lite (not regular polyspan) from Mike Woodhouse. It's kind of porous but it's fine for fuselages, I use Mylar on everything else.
Beautiful model airplane rubber power. Thanks😊👌
Love the whole presentation and thought process.
Always food for thought watching your content.
Thankyou
Thank you. Yes, these projects always involve some engineering, I like that part (most of the time!).
Such a lovely aircraft in all the stages. But thank you. I almost feel guilty. I just spent lunch time watching you work for 4 years. 😂.
Glad you enjoyed it, saddest part is that after that one day of test flying, I fell on the box and it was gone!
Thanks for another inspiring video. I especially like how you explain your thought process behind modifications and techniques. Happy New Year!
Thank you, and happy new year!
I enjoy seeing you doing videos again.
Thnks for the vids, you are a master builder /flyer, watched the wake w camera again, best air vid ever!
Thanks, it was fun to get out and fly the Wake again, but it really is kind of tight in the tiny field I fly in!

Thank you. Looking at that test flight, I'm pretty sure that the Chambermaid will climb like an angel once I get the stab adjusted.
What a cool looking plane!
Yes, I like the looks of these Golden Age Racers!
Great build

I actually have an order out for the Chester Goon kit from Hummingbird, they are nice kits, and the Chambermaid is a good flyer, so go for it!
We're do you get polyspan ? Your planes always look so good !

I'm surprised, it looked like a lot of model for a wing that size.
The wing has a lot of area and overall it's pretty light.
