- The dates are out for Sick Week 2023 Presented By Gear Vendors and now we are announcing the TRACKS! Check out the full video to see all the updates we have going on around the shop. We check in on the Durango project and show the Sh*t Box with its fancy (?) new body. Turns out we bent up the Blazer after Sick Nights on the skid pad so we have to get that fixed now, not sure when it will be back out.

In 1979 I was 13 yrs.old and already a gearhead with a dirt bike and a go-kart..My 19 yr.old neighbor had a '55 Nomad wagon with a 327 and a four speed.I think he paid big money for it even back then cuz he had to sell his shovelhead Harley to buy it....If memory serves he paid $1700 for it..I mean it was super clean,light blue,and did badass posi burnouts.

When the frame and roll cage goes to the powder coater have it painted aqua green to match the car instead of the usual roll cage and suspension black....

September 17 is a travel day for many of us Drag Weekers. I'm really surprised you set that date for registration. I, and many others, will be on the road and possibly unable to get signal to register.

For the Blazer you can put one of those cage bumpers like Cleetus has on his car burnout car “Neighbor”. That way you don’t have to worry about wall taps too much.
Wouldn’t have helped in this case because the frame still moves in just moves more uniform with a beefy bumper

Judging by last I've seen from inside Taylor's shop through their videos, not really. But, keep in mind that both parties have been CRAZY busy lately....

Please, no 1/8th mile racing. Been a drag racing fan since 1960. I am still trying to deal with the fact that the NHRA dropped their nitro cars to 1000 feet. 1/4 mile is what "real" drag racing to me. Keep up the great content Tom.

Bradenton is Brand New this year---Concrete track, new Bleachers, the works---should be well seasoned by Sick Week. I'm looking forward to some FAST passes at the best track in the Country!

Should name the 57 Nomad, “Nomad Shit”. Well,now I know the dates, I will plan my vacation for that week. I live in Minneola FL. So, I can make it to all the tracks and it’s local for me. Missed it last year but, will make sure I can make it in person as a spectator to enjoy.

Inspect every off season and the front and rear suspension, replace!
Either every year or every other year, they DO WEAR OUT!

Awesome content. As for the Heims, drag guys should take a page out of the desert race guys and replace all of them before each race.
Hard to do that when one flat on the bars can be the difference in going straight or trying to relocate the wall. But some definitely wait to long in between replacements
