      Haha! We'll be fine with 1.5 baths for a few years - there's a 5 year gap from Terra at 10 to Brooke at 5, so we're a ways off from fighting over the shower. 😋 A second toilet would be a big bonus over our last rig though, which only had one full bath.

    We have the same rig and love it. The 2 full baths is a plus for us and bunks are nice to have. We have easy access to the mid bath, bedroom, bunks and refrigerator when slides are in. The television is in a perfect spot and we like what Winnebago did with the television in the rear bedroom. I also like that the refrigerator is at the entrance and not mid way. Overall it is a nice rig with plenty of power.

    • @Five2Go

      I'm torn on that actually - the drawers are way more convenient, but they don't use all of the available space. We've seen drawers that barely go halfway under the bench, and almost all drawers lose a ton of space on the sides because they have to be long and straight.

    Good video. FYI...just because they are MCD shades doesn't mean they are electric. Most of your MCD shades that you'll see in RV's are the normal manually operating type but they of course do have the electric type as well. On a different note, my favorite Winnebago Class A is the new Horizons. Very modern and sleek looking.

      It is a super nice layout! We've seen a couple lightly used ones for down around 200k, which is still a lot but really shows how much you can save by looking at the used market. That's what we're going to start looking next because even 200 is *well* above our budget!

  • @lancephillips8740

    WOW that is an absolute amazing floor plan - i would buy that - if the MRSP is 301K offer them 209K i bet you would get it - i love that the dinette and the couch is on the side where you can watch the kids outside playing - you hardly ever see that in MHs - the fridge at the front is a great idea - closer to the front door when you are outside and have to get a drink - the swivel TV is perfect - kids could watch from the bunks - the bunks are great too for storage or kids -you could ask to make a larger window in front sink - thats an easy adder - the second full bath is great just like at a home - TV over the master be, great too - Winnebago did a great job on this coach one of new fav top fives for layouts - BUY IT!! soon!! would love to see you guys having so much in that rig - Winnebago is my 4th FAV RV and a well design coach - Lance from Canada

      Sadly this rig is way above our budget but it is a great floor plan and we love looking at rigs at all price to help zero in on what we want. Having all of the living stuff on the passenger side is really nice - the travel trailer we full-timed in was that way so the big windows were on our campsite and not on our neighbor's. I don’t understand why you don’t need bunks? 3 kids, where would they all sleep if only had the overhead loft? In my opinion, if full time I would want each kid to have their own little space.

    • @Five2Go
      @Five2Go  4 года назад +4

      That's something we discuss all the time. There's a balance to strike between dedicated sleeping space and how comfortable the rest of the usable living space is. Our kids don't hang out in their beds or bedrooms, even in this house where they have all of their toys and lots of play space in their rooms. They rarely played in the bunkhouse in our last rig too! So that leaves us weighing a 6'-long section of an RV that's only going to be used for sleeping and never anything else vs. some convertible space that adds to and opens up the living space for everyone the rest of the time. The girls want to sleep in the cab loft (which is definitely big enough for those two) and Ben is plenty small to sleep on the couch or converted dinette. We're not new to tiny living and we all actually miss it a lot right now!

    I love this one. I agree with you on a bath and a half, but I would want the bunk beds. I wished they would figure out a way to put a tub in. It's not so bad when you can "go home" and soak your muscles but when you have this rig for a way of life, I would really want a master bath tub.

    • @Five2Go
      @Five2Go  4 года назад +1

      Tubs are definitely rare in RVs. I can probably count on one hand how many I've seen and we've been in hundreds of rigs. When we were fulltiming we had a little plastic ikea tub that fit in the shower for the littles to bathe in. That's not a great option for adults though! 😂😂😂

    I am NOT a fan of slideouts, but one question I have is the usability of the living-dining-kitchen area and front toilet when the slide-outs are in - such as during a QUICK meal or toilet stop during a long road trip.

    • @Five2Go
      @Five2Go  4 года назад +1

      We didn't get to see this RV with the slides in but I'm positive you could get to the first bathroom with no issues. You could probably also use the kitchen and access the living room seating without much issue either. Popping open a slide in a rest area or parking lot is not an issue as long as you park your rig to accommodate it. We fulltimed in a travel trailer that needed to have the living room slide open to access the kitchen so we frequently ran it open for lunch stops and whatnot. Luckily the bathroom could be accessed with everything closed so roadside potty breaks for the 3-year old were quick and easy.

    I don’t know if you noticed but it has a shorter ceiling. Motorhome aren’t 5th wheels when it comes to ceiling height, but I think it helps them feel more roomy. It was the biggest negative we found -the upside is that it’s also got more clearance than the average rig - I believe it topped out at 13’-5”.

    • @Five2Go
      @Five2Go  4 года назад

      We're used to the lower ceiling because we're coming from a Travel Trailer. Our new coach is 7' all the way through, and even at 6' tall myself I'm perfectly comfortable. Some of the super high-ceilings in fivers actually bother me for some reason, it kinda seems like a waste of space.

    Like this one! You may not need bunks now, but in future your kids might decide they each want their own little space. I wonder if the front passenger area would end up messy with shoes/coats since it’s the entry. Also, could the washer or dryer be switched out for a combo unit, opening up a big storage space?

    • @Five2Go
      @Five2Go  4 года назад +1

      The entry area is one thing we didn't like about this one. With the loft down you have to crouch all the way in and out. And you're right, I bet the driver seat would get covered in jackets and stuff! It definitely looks like a combo unit could go where that washer is though, but I'm not sure if they accounted for that with a second vent location. You could get a ventless unit but I haven't heard great things about those.

    • @Five2Go

      We have never really loved the idea of the hallway bunks for a variety of reasons. If we're going to have space dedicated to the kids' beds like that, we also want it to be an area where they can hang out, decorate, and play with their stuff. If that's in the hallway, that means their stuff will be all over the floor and in the way. There are a couple motorhomes with bunks that aren't in the hallway. Stay tuned because we're on the hunt 😉

      Yeah, this one is a bit up there! Our next rig will definitely be used and a fraction of the price, but we still love looking at all different sorts of RVs to figure out what we like and don't like.

    People who need TV's in their RV's just need to stay home. You've completely missed the entire point of camping. And this isn't an RV. It's a city bus. Come on, do you REALLY need a "fireplace" in a recreational vehicle?! No windows OR fan in the overhead bunk?? Anyone up for suffocation? Plain white valances...where's the vomit emoji when you need it? This bus is grossly gaudy and over priced as well as bland and boring. It looks like you're standing in someones garage. Ugh.
    But, to each their own. This isn't something that I, personally, would ever consider buying.
