Great Power and Performance! The Phoenix Models, Cessna 182 Skylane Maiden Flight!

UVA President Gabe Lifferth (when he is not training new pilots) makes sure he finds time to get out and have some fun himself with this beautiful Phoenix Model Cessna. Here is his initial impressions of this bird...
Pros-This is a good looking balsa model that looks and performs well in the air and not too expensive.
Cons-It’s a little on the heavy side(just under 10lbs), especially with this battery. So it doesn’t slow down too much even with flaps. If you land just little hard the front landing gear will break away from the firewall.

I have the same model but went to a 4000 MAH battery for space. Great model and nice video!
