- It took Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs just a quarter to get going last night, then it was all Kansas City. The Houston Texans were the first to score but then it was the Chiefs who finished the game on a 34-to-13 run to finish the final 3 quarters. Mahomes had just over 200 yards through the air along with 3 touchdowns on an efficient 24 for 32 night. Hear what Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have to say about the Chiefs' win.

More so the Raiders were the team to hate during that time. The chargers had some good moments but nobody took them that seriously. Dan Fouts was scary in the 80s but 90s was Stan Humphries for the most part. Not really a big deal. Plus it was the Chiefs and the Seahawks during that time as well. There has never been a good rivalry with San Diego teams tbh in the end they never win anything so what are they rivals off? They ain’t winning titles 😂

Anyone who watched LSU last year knew CEH was the man. In the Alabama game CEH made all of the big plays for LSU. He's a gamer for sure.

There were a lot of drops and a couple throws that could have been better especially one where he had a walk in touchdown if he threw to his receiver in stride.

Ricardo Lara I agree he’s not better than those guys. But, he may be running in a better situation. Most defenses will still have to respect the Chief’s speed and ability at WR & TE with a QB who can get them the ball. It’s an ideal running situation. He’ll also be the beneficiary of great offensive play calling. It looks really good for him if he and the rest of the chiefs stay relatively healthy.
People booed because polls have shown that regardless of race don’t want to deal with politics when they’re watching sports. The entire world outside of sports is political, sports are there get away. Hence the UFC ratings are up while the NFL and NBA are down

I interpreted the booing as people not wanting to mix sports and political movements. People use sports as a temporary escape from all that's going on in their lives. I believe it equality for all, but I want my sports to be about competition only. My opinion, but I respect that others may feel differently.

Heard an attending fan said they were booing the texans coming out the tunnel. Typical at a chiefs game to boo the opposition's first appearance. They stopped booing after they realized the show of unity. More bad timing than deep seated racism by 16k people. And if you think about it, even in KC, you'd be hard pressed to find 16k white supremacist. Particularly watching a sport that employs more minorities than whites. I know there are white supremacist out there but really doubt they are as prevalent as the media purports.

O'Brien's coaching is a problem but the bigger problem is at the top of the organization, where general management has been general mismanagement for years. As a result, the Texans have only two athletes on the defensive side of the ball (Reader and Reid) and apart from Watson, a series of questionable draft picks on the offense... I know Obrien deserves a lot of the blame, but the Texans I think need new ownership to turn this franchise around...

So my 2 cents as somebody who doesn't live in the US and just observes what's going on from "the outside". Either the NFL and other leagues are going to be again only about the actual sport or many people will simply stop watching them altogether. KC Chiefs fans at Arrowhead did not boo the act of unity displayed on the field... what was booed was some of the ten phrases displayed on the Jumbotron screen while the players were locking arms. Many of the messages where positive and neutral in theme, however when the phrase that included the words black lives matter was displayed there was booing. Which I believe was booed because of the division the organization associated with that phase has created (and the actually divisive values and goals that organization strive for) , not the literal meaning of those words.
Ultimately people are tired of the hate and division displayed these past several months and want unity and are for changes that enable unity throughout America, but also don’t want politics shoved in their faces 24/7 and at every turn.
Sports is an escape from the realities of this world a chance to forget politics or any other burdens of life, to stand united with all the other fans celebrating their teams and enjoying the great feats of athleticism on the field. To enjoy the euphoria of a win and even the bitter sorrow of defeat, let us as fans enjoy our sports without political agenda. Let us go to our teams stadiums or tune into the games and not be bombarded with political propaganda from either side or whatever agenda. If after the game and outside of the stadiums players, coaches, staff, or owners want to support a cause then that is fine use your wealth and fame to champion a cause but don’t associate those with the sports we tune in or go to enjoy.

The booing was directed at the Texans coming onto the field and not directed at the statement being made. I live in KC and that was the initial media portrayal across the country but not the case. Not saying there isn't ignorant fans in the stands but overall it was a very positive atmosphere around the message.

For me, it’s how BLM has acted in the riots, how they have acted in private businesses, how they’ve tried to intimidate innocent people and force people to do what they want, and who they align with (anarchists and Marxists). I would say that a large majority of people in America all agree that black lives matter and police brutality is a horrible thing. But the media portrays police brutality as a systemic issue when it is only occurs in a very small number of cases. Its like saying all Muslims are terrorists when only a very small number are actually committing terrorist acts. The police officers who perform police brutality should be punished for their crimes and inequality does exist in America. But just because inequality exists does it mean that racisim is the only reason for the inequality? Absolutely not! There are cultural and social economic factors to consider when it comes to inequality. The true inequality in this country is the discrepancy between the wealthy and the poor. The poor and middle class are exploited by the rich regardless of color or race or gender. The wealthy elites and politicians don't discriminate when it comes to exploiting hard working Americans....instead they double down on exploitation by pandering to certain groups of people based on race and color in hopes of creating more division among the American people. Americans want unity and equality... but it is very divisive when the media and BLM stereotype people by race and color and hold an entire race or the entire police force accountable for the bad actions of a few. The fundamental problem here is trying to divide people by their color, race, gender, job, religion, etc. It's the Marxist playbook for dividing people and a country. Unity and equality will only happen when we stop seeing color, race, gender, etc. but just respect each other as human beings and unique individuals. Hating others based on their skin color or race or gender will never result in unity or equality. The real issue in this country is the wealth gap and the exploration of America's hard working people by those in power and this race baiting is just an attempt to divide the country for their benefit.

Support of BLM, a counterfeit organization that has stolen what could have been a positive influence on people, has drained my enthusiasm for all of this. Standing for the flag and the anthem, supports what is good in this country. Failure to understand this denegrates us all. Shannon, Drew Brees and their like have lost much of my respect. This is a desperate plea for them to understand there is another valid perspective other than the one the NFL culture has taken. In the meantime I will sadly watch a beloved national pastime be destroyed from within.

I heard that booing clear as day. People on Twitter talking about they need to keep their virtue signaling out of football like they linked arms during the game and interrupted the flow of the game. I might be bias as a Chiefs season ticket holder. I didn't notice booing live, but can hear what seems like booing when playing it back. Arrowhead has a tradition(not unlike many other stadiums) of booing the opponent upon taking the field, sort of as a playful banter. It makes me wonder if that was happening and was misguided. A powerful moment like this with players coming together to demonstrate unity comes across more clearly on television. That being said, I disagree with anyone who boos or otherwise feels like this wasn't a good demonstration. I just think that the emotion, excitement, and gravitas of a live NFL game isn't a good way to gauge such feelings.
