    Reduce Spotdodge FAF with Attack/Special Attack!
    Tested with Samus:
    Spotdodge FAF into Shield/Dash/Jump = 27 (Invulnerability 3-17)
    Spotdodge FAF into Attack/Special Attack = 22 (Invulnerability 3-17)

    Good video but this has to be the worst mechanic they've added into the game. This means that against characters with fast jabs or specials(alot characters have one of either or) whiff punishing a spot dodge on reaction will be nearly impossible from a dash back, and even from up close. You definitely can't get hard punishes either like a charged smash attack or landing aerial.

      That's not such a big deal. Spot dodging can still be beat by moves with lingering hitboxes, and all dodge options get slower when they're spammed. Spot dodging is really only used as an option select for reads anyway. It's not like we'll be able to be degenerate with spot dodge.

      I agree, it makes spot dodges a little spammable. And I already personally think whiff punishing is the hardest it's been in Smash, what with everyone being fast and all
