What do you do when you get to the edge of your quilt, but only need half of the design? Like if you let the design run, then it will go off of the quilt?
Where do I find the tape measure that you used on the hoop? I love that you showed it on a Bernina. I’m waiting for my books to arrive so I can use the designs 9n my 770.
Ilse Matthijs We can ship one to you. Not sure where in Europe you are, but the cost is roughly $40.00 USD for shipping. If you want to order, just order through our website. Www.ameliescott.com
@@AmelieScott I live in Belgium. Do you have any idea about the importtaxes for Belgium. That is often a big surprise when people order in US. And I don't know where to find the rates for it. Maybe you do? tia
Yes, I had seen that on a video I just finished watching. I also do a lot of videos and will probably be purchasing your book so that I can review it and maybe learn along with my viewers on ruclips.net/user/pattyannesplace. (I really haven’t done edge to edge because it seems soooo daunting.)
How do you determine to draw the vertical and horizontal blue lines? I have 5 of your DVDs and a Snap Hoop Monster and would love to speed up the quilting process. Thanks!
Rita Young I used my regular hoop to stitch my first column with the A template. From then on, I used no template and the magnetic hoop. I used the rulers on the magnetic hoop to hoop straight, and my positioning to line up the start point with the end point. I did not need the B Template because I am hooping and adjusting with the magnetic hoop.
I just recently purchased your first book and cd and have another coming for quilting. I have the Jenome 300e and am struggling with size of design and my hoops. Help!
Which part of that hoop is magnetic? If it’s the top part I would be pulling it over my machine. You shouldn’t ever put a magnetic item On top electronics item so close it can damage the machines computer boards
DIME has tested the hoops extensively and worked with the manufacturers to ensure that the hoops are safe for the machines. Each manufacturer owns the mechanism that connects the hoop to the machine - they would not sell the connector if the hoop would damage the machine. Also, we’ve been using the hoops on several machines, for a few years now, and the machines are still fine. I hope this helps.
Debra Skaggs With the Pfaff, I would wait a few months. There is a larger hoop for the Pfaff in production. I don’t know if it is the Icon size or the Sensation size. I do have a magnetic hoop for my Pfaff, but it is the 260mm x200mm. Personally, I want the bigger hoop for edge to edge. The smaller size works great when we are custom quilting though, so if you do a lot of different quilting, you might want to pick up both sizes.
Does the Snap Magnetic Monster fit on all Bernina machines?
That is an adorable puppy!! 💜 And great 👍 tutorial! Thank you!
Love Edge to Edge and the magnetic hoops
Linda Sikorski Me too!!
I see your using an 880. What settings do you use so the thread cutter is turned off and the knotting won’t take place I have the 880 plus. Thank you
What do you do when you get to the edge of your quilt, but only need half of the design? Like if you let the design run, then it will go off of the quilt?
Chelsey Riddell Yes, it runs off the quilt. That is why it is necessary to have the backing larger, about 4-6” extra on all sides.
Where do I find the tape measure that you used on the hoop? I love that you showed it on a Bernina. I’m waiting for my books to arrive so I can use the designs 9n my 770.
Debbie B they are stickers that come with the hoop when you buy it.
Amelie Scott interesting. I have two different sets of the magnetic hoops and neither one have tape measures. I guess I’ll contact DIME. Thanks.
Debbie B definitely contact DIME. I’m sure they will send you a set. They are super nice people!
What magnet hoop are you using
What hoop are you using and what size is it in inches? Does the bernina machine recognize this hoop?
I think it is the 9 x 14.5. It has been a while since I made the video. We have large oval, maxi, and jumbo size hoops for the BERNINA machines.
What hoop did you select on the 880
Jumbo
I have a Bernina Artista 640 can I use this magnetic hoop with it? I see this is a newer model
That doggie wave at the end made my day ☺️☺️
That’s awesome....awwww cute clever dog 😍👏
Great video. Do you maybe know where I can by the magnetic hope in Europe? Thank in advance for your answer.

Any chance there is a magnetic hoop for the older Artista 730 embroidery machine?
good question, i have a 730 too
Very helpful. Thanks!
Do you knot the threads?
My designs have a knot and the beginning and at the end.
Thanks!!! I’ve got to go look up your designs!
We have a free design index on our website, which is a great way to see all the designs.

How were you able to stitch around those appliqué pumpkins?
I don’t stitch around them. I stitch right over them.
As I recall, your designs are larger than any magnetic hoop offered by Viking. True? Are these smaller designs?
How did you get your machine to recognize the snap hoop? I have done everything I can think of and my 880+ still wants to call it a Maxi hoop ; (
My B880 recognized it right away. Did you get the Jumbo size or the new maxi size? Might want to check with your local BERNINA dealer on that one.
@@AmelieScott That was my next option! I got the new Snap Hoop Monster.
I have a magna magnetic hoop and a Bernina 770. Does anyone know what hoop to choose on the machine to get the largest quilting area?
Rosalee Stoeffler If it is the 400mm x 260mm chose the Jumbo hoop. You will loose about an inch on the left side as indicated on the screen.
Amelie Scott thank you so much!!
Will the monster magnetic hoop work with a Pfaff creative sensation pro to embroider a quilt
Is there a magnetic hoop for Bernina 570qe ?
There is a magnetic hoop for the Large oval hoop that your machine takes. I am not sure if there is a MIDI size.
Thank you! Where can I get this design if my local shop can't get it?
I'm asking about the seasonal placemats and table runners. Thanks again!
Ms. Maureen your local shop should be able to get it in for you, but if they can’t, it is also available on out web site.
How do my BFF & I sign up for the class?

Susan DT the pattern of the Seasonal placemats 2 tells you were to draw the lines.
Susan DT also, snap hoops are awesome! When my schedule slows down, I will do a video. Right now business is crazy busy.
Ijust love you for this thank you
Where can I find this hoop?
Love your videos.
