HEY YOU TUBE! PLEASE put Vintage short stories read by that wonderful Scott feller back on your platform. That's vintage science fiction short stories. He's the best narrator ever.
I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel a couple weeks ago. There are plenty of channels that read stories on RUclips. But only a few of them do it really well. And your channel certainly is one of them!
Well done on "The Super Opener"! While obviously written for an American audience, your use of accents fitted the story perfectly. A fun story, too. Bravo. On to the next ...
Delighted to hear you enjoyed the stories. In a way there is already a sequel, just with other adjectives - have a gander at 5 Smart & Surprising for similar stories!
I have a question about The Super Opener: I found this short story on Project Gutenberg, but I'm also finding references onlinr to a longer work where the super opener is used for more nefarious purpses. Does anyone know if this short story is part of a larger work, or if this story was later expanded upon?
There's a short story about a martian that comes to earth but everyone is dead, then he accidentally activates a chemical weapon. Can anyone tell me what I'm talking about please
The confusion may be because the alien isn't from Mars. Mars is The Red God, took me a minute to click to the trick title. I have difficulty with search terms myself. Anyone know the name of a story that begins with a normal earth day. A man is late for work and passes an intersection on the way where he sees a man hanged on a lamp post and no one is upset about it except him ...

Half of them went straight over my head.
Nice reading though

Thank you! It makes me very happy to know you're enjoying the stories.
I had one of these can openers, the fact that the can disappeared was a problem, as it's contents would end up all over my worktops 🙂

Very kind of you to say so, glad you enjoyed it!
Ditto😊
Great stories and read. Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
1:46:00 It May have a camera!!! That’s such an antiquated futuristic concept in 2023. Maybe a keen eyed robot made in Japan in 1980? : )
Love this kinda truly clever and inventive sci-fi! Just a personal proposal, but: How about "Clever and inventive sci-fi short stories: Part II"?😃

I haven't found a solid can opener for decades...
I guess in the world of Mr Feetch, recycling steel wasn’t on the radar….
🤣🤣🤣
Would be clever to include the 5 start times for each one
They are included in the description

I believe this other version does exist, however I'm not sure how it fits with the one read here, I'm afraid!
hw narration is so damn good.
❤
Mom, I've found the channel!!
Welcome!
I don't know who irritated me more, Pilton or Feetch.
how about : A boy and his dog ?
I'm afraid that's not in the public domain so I won't be able to narrate that.

Nothing springs to mind immediately, but I'll keep an eye and an ear out for that story.
Ray Bradbury loved writing Martian stories ....could try him?
I can. The name is "The Red God Laughed". One of my favorites. It's on RUclips.

@@shelleymarquis2887 - I’m sure it’s this: "The Hanging Stranger" by Philip K. Dick. That’s an interesting one!
Shrank, not shrunk.
