In truth, Boba Fett deserved a movie that shows all the lore and potential of the ship, even DIN's has more time on the screen than his or a good one.

Jango commandeered the ship to escape oovoo 4. It was originally a patrol ship for the planet, to guard the high security prison.
@@byrne8509 I have been playing it for years and it is what made me appreciate the world of bounty hunters and above all I loved Jango with his story, development and his tough, charismatic, mortal personality throughout the game and I liked the origin of the ship, it was better than the Last one that exploded, I seriously hate how they censored the name or that no reference was ever made to its origins, apart from how wasted it was in the series, it deserved to be presented as if it were Boba Fett's Batmobile but it only happened in Mandalorian 2.

@@gesails it all depends on the dialogue from the mandalorian, if cobb vanth says something like “it’s been terrorising us for years” it doesn’t add up
But I don’t think he gives a timeframe
At the end of that episode boba is seen on his own in tusken garb, which means it could be either during his stay with the tusken raiders or after they’ve been killed by the biker gang
AND fennec Shand is a great point marker
Mando leaves fennec for dead halfway through the first season, boba saves her that same night, then they go get slave 1, so he has to have it before mando season 2
Again, it comes down to how long the dragon had been bothering mos pelgo, I’d say not long because there doesn’t seem to be any concern of it dueing cobb vanths flashback
@@danielboden8795 I think it’s very possible since the Sarlacc fight happened the very same time when he found Fennec. Krayt Dragon happens later on giving it enough time to cause trouble so the locals would be aware
@@gesails they wouldn’t unless in between rescuing fennec and killing the sarlacc mando ventured around the galaxy all in like a day or 2.
Personally the mando timeline to mee seems like a couple of months, chapter 6 probably takes place at least a week before the finale of chapter 7 and 8.
And between the end of s1 and start of s2 it’s clear some time has passed which I’ve always put down as a couple of months so I believe that after killing the sarlacc boba ventured around tatooine for a while before finding out about Cobb vanth and waiting for the perfect moment to get it back but then mando swoops in before that.
What’s crazy about :55 is how much of the Star Wars universe would be “better” if someone flew around destroying gangs like this with almost no chance that they could fight back and how little law enforcement there is to stop it from happening, yet it never happens.

Honestly, “Slave 1” is kind of an odd name for a ship that has nothing to do with slaves.
Jango and Zam stole the ship to make a getaway and destroyed the rest of the others to avoid being followed. Jango, being the sentimental man that he was, most likely named the ship "Slave I" due to the time he himself spent as a slave before he killed his oppressors and struck out on his own to be a bounty hunter.
Woke Disney didn't name it in the first place. In my mind it's not anyone's name to change. I also won't get rid of my bumper sticker that says: "I drive my smokin' hot GF Slave Leia in my other car Slave I."

I’ve never understood the fascination with this horribly built ship. As far as I can see the only good attribute it has, is the seismic mines. Other than that, it’s awkward, horribly positioned for a human, and not extraordinary in any way. 🤷♂️

Woah what a fucking hot take. I mean. I thing the falcon is the ugliest ship in the verse. It’s clunky, the cockpit is in the far right side, the guns have to be manned separately from the cockpit. It’s so not uniform. Slave 1 is non of that and all better in both transport and combat.
