I feel like I see the less known books only in book hauls and unhauls, never in wrap ups
It's a shame, I know! I do want to remedy this.
I feel like recently at least, this is predominantly due to the fact that I haven't actually been buying the lesser known books myself. I get sent a lot of them unsolicited for review, so I'm not even requesting to be sent them, or they are included in gift bags at events (I've been to quite a lot of those this year).
Hopefully when uni settles down for the year I'll have more time to pick up more books for leisure, including those that are lesser known.
Just want to say how much I love your channel. I've been watching you ever since you still had dark brown hair and bangs, not sure how long ago that was, but I'm pretty sure it was years, years ago. I remember coming home from the bookstore and trying to film a book haul, which I never finished. My dad would scold me for buying too many books despite having so many still unread. A lot has happened since then- my dad died, I had to move out and leave my books at someone else's house, I started working, etc. It's sad because now I don't read as much as I used to. From 50 books a year, now I read read less than 10. Watching you again made me realize how much reading is a part of me, and so I want to try again. Thanks Catriona. Love from the Philippines ❤️

Ooooh I've got Echoes as well, the author sent it to me and I've been meaning to read it forever so this was an excellent reminder! And I loved the Sabriel series when they first came out. I remember waiting so impatiently for Abhorsen to be released. Unfortunately I can't actually remember anything about the stories whatsoever! Damn my sieve-like memory.
Nevernight sounds amazing! Gonna have to pick that up soon-- can't wait to watch your review afterward!
Sabriel is one of my all time favourite series! The long awaited 5th book has only just been released last week too. I really hope you enjoy it!

Great video!! I find I have a couple more books on my TBR 😆! The never night book looks beautiful!! I love when books have colored edges and have fun designs on the actual book. I also love the Abhorsen series, which Sabriel is the first book! You're gonna love it!

The girl on the cover of "Every Breath" is also on one of the covers of "Thirteen Reasons Why" and on the german cover of "Nineteen Minutes". Sorry for this super random comment, but I couldn't help noticing this and I felt an urge to mention it, cause it's just so strange to see her face on so many different books.
That's so cool! I wonder how many other books she may be on. A book cover model sounds like an interesting job :) I also find it weird when books use the same stock image.

Are you going to do a video on a series of unfortunate events? I would loooove that! I love that series! Read it for the first time at the beginning of this year. I need to get into the mood again as I never read book 13. Now I'm just procrastinating as it is easier to delay reading something than to long for something (as it will be so good I would want to read the entire series again, but you know, life, and other books, and stuff).

I adore the first three books of the Abhorsen series by Nix. Lirael (the second book) is my favorite :D
Amanda Center Sabriel was always my favorite character but Abhorsen was my favorite until Goldenhand came out.

Yes, definitely. A lot of questions are answered about Lirael and where her mum disappeared, we see more of the world, get some interesting characters. I really enjoyed it.
