I absolutely adored these two back in the day. I would compare them to the amazing love linking of Faith Hill & Tim McGraw. U just knew how perfect they were for each other! It’s a shame and still strikes my heart with sadness that these kids didn’t make it. Talk about a Barbie & Ken kind of thing going on. But just like any other relationship between two young people - it flew by fast and furious and fizzled out before they even had a chance!!!!
I just finished the book. Read the whole thing in one night. I can relate to her bc I went through similar things. Honestly, her pain and trauma can be traced back to that moment she was laying on the bathroom floor in pain and crying as the abortion pills in her body killed the baby inside her. Justin was on the floor next to her, facilitating it and was the reason she did it. Absolutely disgusting that he wud do that to her and his own child. She had no one to help her make the right decision to keep the baby inside of her. Justin and Felicia were there, they kept it a secret and encouraged her not to go to the hospital or to a doctor. Felicia as a woman, an older woman, should have known better and could have saved Britney a lot of pain to come. After that, Britney was never the same and grieved silently with no way of grasping what she'd done. She says she couldn't even speak and that was the end of her relationship with Justin. Through the whole book, u know the abortion was the beginning of the chaotic life and internal trauma that followed.

How did you know he didn’t try to hug her or physically comfort her? Heck, she didn’t even remember how it ended. Justin probably carried her to bed or something at the end.
I find it hard to believe he wanted the best for her when he continued make jokes about taking her vcard Years after their relationship was over. It was a bad break up I get it. But especially when she was in conserveship he didn't stop. That's part of the reason why when Britiney finally gets to speak he has to deal with the fall out and finally doing what he should have done for everyone be quiet. He has had 19 years to be either be quite or do the right thing . Now it will take more then an instagram post to make things right if they ever could be.

Britney has forgiven Justin a long time ago (as confirmed by Lance Bass) and they have spent the last decade being on good terms with each other! Most young guys would freak out if they got a girl pregnant. For Justin the consequences were exponential because of the media frenzy it would cause as well as issues with his management and N*Sync.
