If electrical off-road vehicles ever become a thing it could be quite tricky, as you rely partly on sound to detect oncoming traffic. Dust is another big giveaway though.
Beautiful scenery and views of the coast. If we ever move to Cyprus I will definitely have to get a 4x4. How do you navigate around there? Are any of the tracks on Google Maps?
When I started I used road maps, as mobile reception was terrible in remote places. Now it isn't so bad, so you can pretty much rely on Google maps with a smart phone. It helps to download the maps first though. Other than that, you need to adopt the rule that you don't go anywhere you are not sure how to get out of though. Saying that, I had to be pulled out of a quagmire by a tractor the other day, so it is a continual learning experience!
It’s a shame they can’t improve the road a little so that ordinary car drivers could experience the beauty as we do here on Dartmoor for instance. Great drive thanks 😊 and great music too
Which one do you mean? We featured the one in Old Town a while ago, and did an article on the new one that was supposed to be opening in January. But it hasn't opened yet. I won't be doing any more stuff on it until it is actually open.

I have driven many of the roads , and “most “ are passable with due care and attention in a run of the mill hire car .
