Drove this in a Polaris Ranger off road vehicle, no way could a car make it. There were 3 parts on the road where wee and poo came out, especially when a vehicle came the opposite direction. Don't drive, get a boat it really isn't worth it. Plus the hire companies track their vehicles and prohibited using the road, so expect a bill when you return the vehicle, even if undamaged. Corner at 1.38 does not do it justice in the video, many poos.
@@georgeavgoustiweddingfilms my first for me to be there, was in 1983...since then visited beautiful Cyprus 32 times, and my best gift are my Cypriot friends)))
Last year i was walking back from Blue lagoon, it was very dark at night, flashlight died, and then some wild mouflon came in front of us, it was very hard to get back )) then some guy in a jeep rushed past us)))
Scary road indeed when is dark, that wasn't a mouflon, probsbly the famous akamas goats :) It wasn't me with the JEEP, I never traveled when it was dark :)
Probably one of the locals from Latchi, they drive like mad over there. We ran out of car battery there once and had to walk back to the village to find somebody who'd drive up over there and jump start our car. Some local dude agreed to do it, and when he was driving us back to blue lagoon, he was doing over 50km/h at some of the spots. Scariest bumpiest ride of my life, hit my head on the roof several times, bit my tongue and our dog threw up.
I regret that i haven't found this video earlier. If i did this, i have never ever tried to ride this road on Mazda 2... I am very experienced driver and believed that road here will be like road to Lara beach. I was so wrong. It was such very challenging and scary experience that i made a turn on 7:23. Please, friends, don't repeat my error - DON'T EVER TRY TO RIDE THIS ROAD ON SMALL/SEDAN CAR. YOU NEED 4X4 SUV/OFFROAD JEEP WITH GRIPPY TIRES, AND YOU SHOULD BE REALLY EXPERIENCED DRIVER. IF NOT - YOU MAY NOT COME BACK HOME. Blue Lagoon is not worth your life. Consider boat or use professional Jeep transfer.
Not that dangerous. I see its very easy .... In Montenegro you can find easy heart attack steep ride in narrow roads. I was driving last summer 3 inches from the edge of the cliff down to the river Cernovejca. Lets say around Pluzine lake is the most challanging with the falling rocks . Also Madera or La Gomera offers more andrenaline and good fun with tons of spins
there is no way a normal car without 4x4 can make it, I have been travelling that road for years, many they tried but they damage cars as they don't care is from rented companies
I have to agree with @Cyprus Travel & Adventures , done that road several times and the tall 4x4 and high mounted stabilized camera really doesn't do any justice to just how rough the road is. In some places it is as bumpy as a freshly ploughed field, with a huge incline, but made out of rocks. It's really easy to scrape the bottom even on a proper offroader like this, there's no way a road car would clear the obstacles. You MIGHT get away with just 2 wheel drive since the surface is pretty firm, but you absolutely do need the ground clearance. And imagine you meet up with a car going the opposite direction and you need to pass each other on the narrow bits, then one of you has to reverse until the road gets wide again.
@@georgeavgoustiweddingfilms Yea, geez, that's bad. Lot of people die there, that road is no joke. There are spots where if your foot slips off the break pedal for a second, you're dead. It's funny how at 0:00, there's the car parked on the right, and you can clearly see the trenches in the road being about double the width of its tire. The small car would really struggle even at the beginning. You could hide an adult man in some of those holes. But then when you drive over the holes, the camera makes it look like it's nothing. I've even seen a dude break a small rental car trying to park exactly on the same spot on 0:00, there is a large round rock hidden in the grass there and poor dude destroyed the engine on it.

на легковом автомобиле реально до голубой лагуны доехать? например на форд фиеста.
Некоторые сумасшедшие ездят, но мне лично на джимни страшновато было. Плюс риск пороги поцарапать. В арендной конторе порой смотрят
Dear, can you advise where to rent a 4x4 car ?
