Gorgeous cruise. They used to train RAF fighter pilots at Linton until a couple of years ago, tearing around in their Tucanos, used to see them often in the area, always going flat out. Hooligans.
I did see a base on Google maps. Big old place. Must be loads of RAF living around there. It was a fantastic cruise. Cheers
What a lovely cruse from York. We called and had a wonder round that lock. The pub owners are lovely great coffee, met some lovely people. You did make us laugh with those people in canoes. Have a great week.

I do it all the time and the state at me in amazement. That Severn's great but not many mooring places. Abit like here really. I love the rivers this time of year. Take care buddy.

nice long cruise , there are some lovely houses there , & that sunseeker was beautiful , would'nt mind that at the bottom of my garden lol , it looked like that lock needed some tlc .
Alot of money in that area. Dead posh and council houseboat me cruising past. Ha ha That lock was deep. I have to climb down on the way back. Cheers Lori.
you find that lambs play ,and are looked after one mother while other mothers graze ,hence one mother calling several back from waters edge

Mate! The River Ouse is an impostor, did you know? It's actually the River Ure. They didn't know who'd won the confluence of the Ure and the Swale, so they just made something up. Somebody went down south and discovered that all big rivers are called Ouse (or Avon, they had to decide on that one) and they brought that back. It's just not right.
Not only that but the river Ure is pronounced you are to make it even more confusing. Why lord why?
@@NarrowboatWill Well, as someone who grew up in Yorkshire, the answer to that must be "because". In fact, the pronunciation is the same as "your", as in "your boat". Nothing confusing really once learnt.
Apparently a chap named Fitzcaraldo took his boats over the Alps ,with a bit of help of course .The boats always”swim”better when they have plenty of water unlike some canals .
Ha ha see mountain rescue boaters Tony. The canal I'm on now wow that's very shallow and full of weed. My poor boat. Stay tuned for that.
You should do a vid of your stretching and that I’d love to see what you do then I could do the same I need some me self I reckon
