Hello Ann and David. If you can't go yourselves at least you can come with me. Put your feet up and get kettle on. Take very good care you two.
Great video Will.
thanks for really interesting tour around York and especially the railway museum with lots of impressive engines
York’s one of my favourite places to visit
Isn't it a fascinating place apart from the cloths I could be back the stone age with Robin hood. Ha A real time slip place. Thanks for watching.
Loved the trip round York again. It was great seeing the Shambles and the Railway museum again. Went there with my husband last June. The last trip before he died. Brought back happy and lovely memories.
Ahhh what a shame for you but happy memories all the same. So sad but happy..I don't know how to feel now. Have a wonderful tomorrow Glennis.
I was born in York and i've been loads of times but never to the Railway museum, Castle museum is my favourate place to visit and in it theres a childrens merry go round ride that belonged to Mr & Mrs Gilligan and was pulled by their horse, it came round the streets when i was a child living in Knottingley and we used to get a free ride on it as my mum would let the couple use our toilet and give the horse some water, not sure if its still exhibited there but it was in the early 1980's and the last time i visited in around 2004 i asked about it and they said it was down in the storage rooms under the museum. Cheers Will i enjoyed that. 👍
Wow it's amazing how these places bring back so many memories Janice. I love York. It's packed solid with interesting things to see. Take good care.
That was interesting vlog Will. Feel like a member of the Wheel tappers and shunters club now 😂
I wouldn't say I'm into trains but that was bloody awsome Geoff. There was another room open previously closed full of models. These models where quite big and heavy made by passionate engineers. Well worth a visit. Have a chew chew day.
Thanks will great video, like you say we have lost a lot people Used to dress up if you were going on a train trip how times have changed its a shame 😕 have a great week 😀 👍
It seems jobs are becoming more automated but more people are wanting jobs. It's not adding up to a good ending. Thanks for watching and supporting me Christopher.
Great video Will. The railway museum is a special place, I can`t wait to go back there.
I've been twice now. I love it Philip. Have a great day.
Nice one Will York s a Top place that railway museum looked brilliant and them banging sound effects you put in choo choo . Going on to Leki trains 🙂🔧⛳️✌️ I seen something the other day made me LMAO there was a guy in a Tesla who had run out of charge and he flagged folk down one guy pulled over the guy with the Tesla ask the bloke for some petrol the bloke give him some said what you going to do wi that ya cars leki the guy opened up his boot he had a Honda generator in there so he cud charge up his Tesla .is was on TikTok made me laugh
I didn't put that sound in I think it was a train going to the museum. Awsome. Fancy that a Tesla running out of power and that's the expensive type. Wait till the cheap plastic electric cars come out. It will be like a phone. 4 wheels all plastic self drive. The batteries will last 3 years then it's thrown away. Cheers Lee.
I love York! The railway museum tour was great. Thank you for showing us around!
It's such an historic place. Thankyou for watching.
Enjoyed that. The Harry Wainwright D 4-4-0 No 737 is a treat for the eye, love it. Great place, York.
The size and weight of some of those trains are incredible and steam pulled them along. Amazing. Cheers
Thanks for taking us around the rail museum,a real treat .There was an iron ladder on the engine sheds near where I grew up ,as kids we would climb up it only it wasn’t attached at the top.!
OOh you couldn't do that now without getting an app or going on a costly health and safety course. Ha ha. Cheers Tony
Really enjoyed this vlog Will, love York beautiful place. Not been into the railway museum must have a look when next that way, it was a fascinating place. Thanks for sharing.
I can't believe it's free to get in yet other small not so interesting ones are expensive. You must see it Kath.
Loved walking aroundYork in 1991. The Ministry and the Rambles were spectacular
Sorry Shambles. Auto spell
Yeah it's a very vibrant place loads of people today and boats. It's seemed to have woken up. Thanks Kat
That was AMAZING!! Thank you so much.
It was my pleasure Michelle. Have a great day.
A brilliant vlog Will.
We have visited York many times as it is only one hour away from where I live.
You showed us so many familiar locations, even a few we hadn't seen before.
The Railway Museum is superb.
You have done York proud by showcasing this wonderful, historical city.
So much to see, so little time.
Thank you.
I'm still here going back into the railway museum. I miss a lot when i'm filming because i concentrate on the filming rather than what's in front of me. I had a great time today just sitting and looking. Thanks for enjoying it Harry.
Thankyou Will for the tour would love to go there one day thanks again x
I love it hear. Very busy now though with lots of boats wizzing up and down Dianne. All the best shops as well. Fab..Thankyou for watching.
Hi Will
I loved this video. York is a pretty special place, especially the Railway Museum. That Train from China is a Giant isn't it? I couldn't get over the size when we saw it s few years ago. Thanks again for sharing. I have a giggle when you're having those conversations with yourself, pre empting, what the viewer's are saying. Thanks again.😁🐶🐾
It's such a special place if it wasn't for the cloths I could be back in the Stone age with dick turban. Ha That train is hard to get the scale on film. I think I'll stand in front and get a picture to show people in my next blockbuster I turned Hollywood down vlog. Ha Have a day full of joy and wonder like it's your first day on Earth Julie.
What a lovely place York is, so many old buildings and ruins to explore. You might just bump into Ivanhoe or Sir Galahad.
Thanks for the extensive museum tour - impressive locomotives, both old and new. I am glad to have spent you a coffee!.
ooh thankyou Umberto. What an amazing place to visit. It's become a lot busier these past few days. Lots of boats up and down. I'm moored just outside York but it's still busy. Have a great evening.
Hi Will , that museam looked absolutely fantastic, ķeep up the great vlogs .
Some of those trains are huge. So much iron and steel. It's incredible Kevin. Thanks for watching.
great video , it seems to have changed since we last went to the museum , it seems to have grown , i too loved walking around it , seeing all the different trains ,it's brilliant , i think the trains were alot more comfortable than they are today .
There was something special about the steam age. All the excitement of seeing them and hearing them. It's a wonderful place to visit and surrounded by York city is even more special Lori. Thanks again for watching.

Wow. York and the Railroad Museum. Thank you for sharing this history with us Will. Oh, by the way: always to remember to keep your camera "up on the buildings" and "not on the walkers". lol Take care Will. Your only human. Right?
Ha ha very good Sandy. I'm not a fan of walking in crowds with a camera. Beautiful place. I'm still enjoying it. Have a lovely day.
Born and bred in York play around town centre Riverside we used to climb under lendal Bridge from one side to the other used to jumping off the bridge Scarborough Bridge as well we used to play music again Gardens when we used to have hot summer's we as well go swimming and that was at 12 in the night

York is lovely we have seen the Scotsman at Carnforth and York and I am an age when I probably saw her in service 😳
I think I remember seeing steam trains. They do have a special place in my memory for me Janice. Love York but it's become very busy on the river. Have a calm and restful evening.
A couple of old tyres from a scrappy would help stop the boat clanging against walls
Stay tuned Vic.
I.love york there is otway something to see.and enjoy it
I know i could spend weeks here and still find new places to visit. Thanks again Suzanne
Wow ! Thank you- I am looking at hotels now for September. You couldn’t go and see a film for the price of that museum .
Amazing value. Good on you for going. enjoy and thanks for watching.
Hi, your tour of York and large girthy shafts was stimulating. I have a serious question....can you help me with....a genuine narrow boat fan for my fire box?
Thankyou I think. Can you expand on the question please but don't titter in the process.
Um, well its finally winter here and I have a log burner, "fire box" and over the burning unnatural summer here I found narrow boat channels enjoying winter I remember. And fire box fans.
Great vlog
All the time we go to York and have never been to the railway museum. Must go.
It's free and so amazing even if your not into trains. I heard ladies saying wow at the shear size of them. Don't titter..ha ha A must next time you go Caroline.
🤣🤣🤣 will give it a look over

@@NarrowboatWill I'm sure I will they are very enjoyable. I hope I can visit YORK b4 I move on from this place. I live in Michigan USA. I'm thinking about doing the Erie canal I think it would do me a world of good to get on the water for a week or so.
walked all the way round on the walls, a couple of bits missing its takes about 2 hour's
yeah i got to Cifford castle and gave up. Ha fantastic place..cheers
Will you're doing it again. You're not 5 years old, every time you read something you run your finger along the line of type so that no one else can see it to read it.
Can you not hear me. I like running my finger over it so 5 year old watches can listen.
@@NarrowboatWill You don't need to run your finger over it to do that and grownups read a lot faster than you do
@@TelstarFirst Oh dear that's grown up.
