Love the way your f35 footage looks. Do you have any way that I can reach you offline, maybe through email, so you could give me some tips on the way you grade these. I love the look of yours more than any other. Feels a lot like some of the indies shot in early 200s. I’m shooting a feature next month with the f3 (not f35), but everyone states (including you) that color science is pretty much the same. Please let me know if you would be willing to do that. I would greatly appreciate it. Dennis
Thanks for your kind words on my grading style. Sure, not a problem. I'll help as best as I can. Yes, the F3 is just as special as the F35. I like the F35 more only because it handles highlights better, but the F3 handles shadows much better - so it's a trade-off. In the end, their looks are pretty similar. And my grading is somewhat simple. I use Davinci Resolve along with a touch of Dehancer. I like adding a hint of glow that mimics a pro-mist filter (I also use a mist filter in front of the lens) and a tinge of halation (either from Dehancer or directly in Resolve, both are great). Anyway, my email is eddie@vid-atlantic.com Feel free to reach out!
What a gem, another very nice video. I like CCD sensors!
