- Supplementing Ginger in your diet will help heal and repair your body...
1. **Anti-Inflammatory Properties**: Ginger contains bioactive compounds such as gingerol, shogaol, and paradol, which have been shown to inhibit pro-inflammatory pathways in the body. These compounds can suppress the production of inflammatory cytokines and enzymes, thereby reducing inflammation at a cellular level.
2. **Digestive Aid**: Ginger stimulates the production of saliva and gastric juices, which can enhance digestion by breaking down food more effectively. It also helps relax the gastrointestinal muscles, promoting smooth movement of food through the digestive tract. Additionally, ginger can reduce intestinal cramping and bloating by exerting a calming effect on the gut lining, making it beneficial for individuals with digestive issues like indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
3. **Anti-Nausea Effects**: The anti-nausea properties of ginger are attributed to its ability to influence the nervous system and digestive processes. Ginger acts on the gastrointestinal tract and the brain's vomiting center, helping to reduce nausea and prevent vomiting. It also accelerates gastric emptying, which can be particularly helpful for individuals experiencing motion sickness or pregnancy-related nausea.
4. **Antioxidant Properties**: Ginger is rich in antioxidants, including gingerol and zingerone, which scavenge free radicals and prevent oxidative damage to cells. These antioxidants play a crucial role in neutralizing harmful reactive oxygen species, thereby protecting cellular structures and DNA from oxidative stress.
5. **Immune-Boosting**: Ginger's immune-boosting effects are linked to its antimicrobial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. Gingerol, one of the main bioactive compounds in ginger, has been shown to inhibit the growth of various pathogens, including bacteria and viruses.
6. **Blood Sugar Regulation**: Studies suggest that ginger may improve insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism in cells. Gingerols and other bioactive compounds in ginger can enhance insulin signaling pathways, leading to better uptake of glucose by cells and improved blood sugar control. By regulating blood sugar levels, ginger may help reduce the risk of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
7. **Cardiovascular Health**: Ginger's cardiovascular benefits are attributed to its ability to lower cholesterol levels, reduce blood pressure, and improve blood circulation. Gingerols have been shown to inhibit cholesterol absorption in the intestines and decrease the production of triglycerides in the liver, leading to improved lipid profiles. Additionally, ginger's vasodilatory effects can help relax blood vessels and enhance blood flow, which supports heart health and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
8. **Pain Relief**: Ginger's analgesic properties are thought to result from its ability to inhibit pain-causing enzymes and reduce inflammation in the body. By blocking the production of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins, ginger can alleviate pain associated with conditions such as muscle soreness, arthritis, and menstrual cramps. Ginger's pain-relieving effects may be comparable to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) but with fewer side effects.
9. **Brain Health**: Research suggests that ginger's neuroprotective effects are due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Gingerol and other bioactive compounds in ginger can cross the blood-brain barrier and exert protective effects on brain cells. By reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, and neuronal damage, ginger may help preserve cognitive function, enhance memory, and protect against neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease.
10. **Weight Management**: Ginger's potential role in weight management is linked to its thermogenic properties and effects on metabolism. Ginger can increase thermogenesis, which is the process of generating heat in the body by burning calories.
11. **Expectorant Properties**: Ginger contains compounds such as gingerol and shogaol that have mucolytic properties, meaning they can help break down and expel mucus from the respiratory tract. By thinning mucus secretions and promoting their clearance, ginger can aid in relieving chest congestion and cough associated with respiratory conditions like colds, flu, bronchitis, and asthma.
12. **Bronchodilator Effects**: Some studies suggest that ginger may have bronchodilator effects, meaning it can help relax and widen the airways in the lungs.

I appreciate how the Doc goes directly into what's on the thumbnail. He doesn't make you wait until the end for what he's actually speaking about. I think we ALL appreciate it 👍
Very unusual, however, very much appreciated.
Completely agree!! My sister turned me on to him and I love his videos. I've started drinking ginger in my tumeric teas. Good for neuropathy! I swear by it and the ginger adds the anti-a bunch of good stuff 😆. Anti-inflammatory is also good for pain reduction.
Absolutely agree!
He has a very pleasant tone of voice that is very easy to listen to, in addition to the useful info. I think the word is "subliminal" or something like that.
Very Much Appreciated and truly motivational, I consider him as one of, if not the most Credible yt Truth sharers
Kinda hard to trust a "healthcare" provider that endorses big pharma. Thank you Dr. Mandell. You save us pain, suffering and sometimes even D..TH at the hands of modern medicine! God bless and keep you safe, sir!
Hes giving education on each one...
💕💕
Doc, you are the best thing I've ever found on RUclips!!
Thank you 🙏🏽.
Thanks to you, I drink 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp honey and some crushed up ginger every morning before food.
I'm 68 and feel fantastic 😍.
I use a very similar recipe in the morning! I'm also 68 as of this past Friday. Very healthy. Dr Mandell keeps us all in good spirits!
@@robinsnestradioHappy Birthday, Robin! 🎉🎉🎉😊🤗🕊🕊🕊
Do you blend all the ingredients together or just in a cup and do you need to wait before eating?
@@deedeemyers8022 I mix them together in a small glass and chug it down. I've been grating my fresh ginger. I actually enjoy the taste.
I would wait about 30 mins before food.
@@Krystal_Kleer Thank you so much. Looking forward to trying it. Have a great day.
Here is another thing very important help. I just researched to see if Ginger is a goitrogen, that is something that bad for hypothyroidism. The research was showing that Ginger was very good for helping hypothyroidism.
Do you eat it raw and how much
Dr. Mandell, thank you for educating us about what is good for our bodies. You are a blessing!

@@motivationaldoccan you please tell me how to use the fresh ginger I sometimes drink ginger and lemon 🍋 tea but I'm disabled and I have really bad seizures so I'm really want to try some of your stuff for my pain plus my grandma is 💯 years old and has arthritis really bad when she can't get out of bed sometimes but she usually walks around her block every morning

Tydoc I was skeptical. But I drank the vinegar, lemon, honey for my allergies and it was a miracle. I also added garlic cayenne, ginger and oregano oil the second time. It only took two doses and wha La. Turned my frown upside down.💚✌🏽Blessings
Thank you for sharing with us 🙏
I will try today because my allergies are killing my body 😔
Oh is so important in body chemistry
Ginger is so powerful, i cant believe i didnt see this long ago
Yes she was on Gillian’s island lol 😊
I agee with Doc Mandell i have been taking ginger for 4 days now my blood glucose is already stabilising keep it up
How was you taking it? Which method are you taking it?
Thank you SO much, Dr.M. I swear ginger helps my pain with osteoarthritis, some people laugh at me when I tell them this. I'm sharing this video right now! God's Blessings, Dr. M ❤
I grate ginger & place on my back where I'm having severe pain & within an hour, the pain is completely gone!
I put the grated ginger on cheese cloth & press into my skin. Then I use Saran wrap to wrap around my torso to keep it in place.
People laughing at you I think is the result of big pharm and the medical industry having major influence over us. Maybe they don't believe that something natural and easy can help them.
@natureshealing6534 thank you for this great information 🎉
Thank you father God for waking us up Amen 🙏
I'll be freezing some today. I beleave this beautiful soul. Hugssss
Every morning I have fresh ginger slices in a cup of hot water and I let it steep for 5 minutes a bit of honey…sometimes 3-4 times a day…
Going to try this.😊
Never add honey to hot water , not even lukewarm
@@manikyum why? Would love to know exactly why you say this? As honey has different healing properties when mixing it with different water temperatures…I went to your site/profile and you have no context…🤷♀️
@@doreanabland1296It’s said that heat will kill all the enzymes in the honey. I’ve heard others saying that actually can become quite toxic when mixed with hot liquids.
Been putting honey in hot tea for over 50 years…hum, who would have assumed
I can’t do without ginger 🫚 in my tea daily.
Dr. Mandell, you’re a Godsend. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Ginger in a smoothie with fresh lemon, greek yogurt and creme or milk plus honey is so good.
Excellent !!! I love it.
You are the best Dr. Mandell. 👍❤
This is one of the best channels on RUclips that I’ve found. I’m learning SO much from watching them. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to educate us.
I just and take ginger often but didn’t know about using it this way and I especially didn’t know how it helps with all the other things in our bodies. Will definitely be using it more frequently this way. Thank you Dr. Mandel. I love all your videos as they are so informative. May God continue to work in and through you and your good work and continue to bless you and your family. ❤
Yes, the clean burn of biting into ginger root. You just know it's working.😃
What can this guy not do ?
A plumber, a mechanic, a teacher, a student, police man, fire fighter and now a doctor ?
Incredible. Please don’t block me I love this channel and it’s helped me grow 😅
This is so true. I used ginger every day for years. Now that I eased off, I start having so many issues. I have proven this for myself.
It helped when I had acid reflux..better than most over the counter medicines I found.
Apple cider vinegar works much better for reflux
How was you taking it?
@droccult700 2 table spoons in a small like whiskey glass. Then fill to about a quarter with water & drink through a straw to avoid contact with your teeth. I drink it about an hour before food. But since my diet is full of meat fish vegetables & just a little fruit/kiwi & lemon only my acid reflux as gone. It only comes back the day after drinking alcohol. Whole natural foods is definitely the way to sort acid reflux. Just takes time I guess for your gut to actually make its own acid.
@droccult700 sorry that was acv I was talking about. The ginger I just chop into small bits & swallow like tablets & water
Acid reflux is so misunderstood. It is actually caused by too little acid and not much
Sometimes grocery stores do not have a decent looking piece of ginger. You might see some straggly things. But when they do have those good pieces-lookout! Because they go fast! I take a decent amount but don't overdo it and have been freezing them before I heard Dr. Mandel's video on freezing ginger. Thank you Lord Jesus for this sincere, caring Doctor ✝️👑💖
I had no idea you could freeze it....will definitely stock op on it now!!!
Thank you Dr Mandell, you're THE BEST👍👍💓👍👍

An old roommate of a relative of mine, was named Ginger. Her second husband always said she was good for his soul. In any case 😜 I find it ginger ale helps calm my stomach my stomach. So This Ginger root sounds like good recommendation
Thank you for this great great information. I use and eat more ginger every day.
TY, I will try the ginger to clear my lungs, flesh after a big flood in our bathrooms and the mold spore are in the air. I cannot continue taking prednisone to clear my lungs - I hate the taste of ginger, but if helps naturally I have to help myself.
GOD BLESS YOU DR. MANDELL
Also try colloidal silver. It’s a natural anti fungal
I just happened to buy about half a pound of ginger yesterday. I enjoy eating it plain by itself unpeeled because I view peeling it as a waste, I like it as a tea, or with some other foods, mainly meat and fish, or sometimes as a treat with honey if I occasionally want something sweet or chew on it while drinking beer for a better flavor (lemon and lime juice make beer taste pretty good too and I assume should help the body cleanse from alcohol consumption better).
Dr Mandell you're the BEST. I try to use ginger every day.
Having breathing problem today and I'm going to drink a ginger, lemon and dash of salt right now. Thanks for the reminder!
Please do a video on HPV thank you so much
