Unlike your custom builds, we don't need to see how every piece is placed. We can see that in the instructions.

I feel like if they had geared the two turning circles together, so you could turn a knob and have them both clash lightsabers, while keeping the opening center with the flip up flames, I would be much more inclined to buy it for $50
If the Vader figure actually had those gorgeous red eyes then I might have actually slapped down $50 for this. As it is, I will wait for a deep discount, or simply find a cheaper way to put together an Obi Wan and Vader from this time period

I feel Lego did about the best they could with the source material. Not the most pleasant display piece to look at, but for the play features/figs included a fun little play set. Really like the eruption of the lava from the floor feature, and the droid is fantastic.
Like the set is not that trashy, it's that 50$ price that is so ridiculous; I hope almost nobody buys it so other retailers low the prices to 40$ or even more

I feel like this set is a hybrid between a display set and a play set, it has play features that seem to be good for role playing, but it’s a massive space for mini figure posing, and has the most iconic scene of the whole show (in my opinion)
This set has a decent figure selection and I actually quite like the play feature with the line of fire that pops up. Otherwise, it's one of the most disappointing lego star wars sets at least in recent history.
For your next moc build, could you do that room in the Kenobi flashback with Anakin and Obiwan Dueling. Or the version of it from order 66. Either way I bet you'd make it look good.
Cool set, but I honestly feel like if I wait a bit, the next wave of sets will include finale Kenobi and other characters like Leia, Haja, Owen, or Beru. Just have to wait and see...

After thoroughly reviewing this video, I can confirm it looks like a set.
My favourite part is how colour accurate the slopes are to the sands as well as an imperial ship.

There are early test pieces with red eyes showing that they tried but there was too much smudging of the printing so they couldn’t
