I loved how he handled the "Why a Newell over a Prevost?" question. Kept it classy, stated an opinion backed by facts, didn't bash or trash-talk. That's the way to do it :)

I personally would like a, Newmar King Aire. I like the basement doors better because they swing open, not lift. Although I would like the 20k generator.

James response to the Questions regarding Lithium was excellent. Pole-to-Pole vs Boondocking and optional expense based upon value to the customer.
Josh will you please do a video of what it looks like to "set up" a Newell when a person gets to their camping spot ...showing everything from start to finish!! Then how to "tear down" also showing how you fill water and even empty the holding tanks...would be so helpful to see all that!!

Such a great video Andrew! Thanks to James for sharing all his knowledge and expertise. My best parts are @ 9:27 where I heard the best explination for using a single gray/black tank. Also @ 16:35 how James explained the differences and value of the Newell brand without disparaging or putting down the other convertors as is often done by others especially on the sales end, very professional and classy IMO.

I've always wondered what a company like Newell do if someone wanted a legit 2bdrm.....I know it would be difficult but I'm surprised we haven't seen one company try yet....atleast if it has been done I haven't seen it...awesome video, incredible company!

I guess if I was ever to get a Newell built (not that I believe I ever will though), I would ask for a more comprehensive Solar (heard about solar awnings) / Lithium / energy efficient appliances solution, but from what was said, that would not be an issue.
For me, Newell is a true custom home on wheels and not a bus chassis custom conversion.

3:10 it should be standard no matter who is buying. I’m sure Newell has a standard with upholstery. Therefore, there should be a standard in technology too.

Great interview. I’m super impressed by Newell. Here are things that would keep me from buying one. One, I’ve never driven one and not sure I’d like the experience. Two- while they are obviously very plush and beautiful, I wonder if I’d be better off driving my luxury suv and staying in 4 and 5 star resorts. I’d be open to getting a Newell but I’d need to make sure I’d really like the driving experience. All that to say I can tell Newell is a super quality manufacturer. Much continued success to Newell.

Andrew with the significant lead time for a new coach, it would be great if you could cover what a Newell customer can get in terms of remodel services. Some pricing ranges as well as lead times for that.

Newell employees never badmouth Prevost, but they know they are the only company that build that quality of coach from the ground up. Karl Blade would be the first to say Prevost is a good product, but not built custom from the ground up to be a motor home.
Which is true. That's not 'bad mouthing'. It's got to be a big difference between building off a Prevost shell and starting at the ground. Even production coaches like the King Aire, start with a pre-built Spartan chassis and then do everything up from there. Newell is only builder I know of that builds the entire coach and they do amazing work.
Must be nice to have so much money. It is too bad that so many people are poor and never get to enjoy these things even if they work hard and the way things have been going the gap between the rich and poor has never been wider.

Newell has Larger rooms for sure. And they will make what you want. They had a drive tag but now it looks like it’s the rear wheel not the tag. From my view it may be most helpful if it was on the Tag.
I wish they could have really shown more if the coach
Considering that Lithium is now 2X CHEAPER THAN AGM, there is no reason to not make it standard. Newel typically uses 1000 amp/hrs of battery with AGM [$8,000], they only need to put in 400-500 amp/hrs[$3,200] of Lithium to be equal. The fact that Lithium recharges 4 times faster than AGM allows them to install a smaller generator, also cheaper to install. AT this price range I would expect Lithium standard, After all Liberty has had lithium standard for the last 12 years and they would otherwise be compribile, but the coach with Lithium and the same price will get my vote.
With lithium battery power I'd be wondering if a time might arrive when the main house power is always run from lithium batteries with a large alternator connected to the prime mover that would come on when needed for charging. This would eliminate the diesel auxiliary generator. In the not to distance future bus drivetrains may go battery electric with a lot more power and acceleration than ever considered practical before.
I wonder if they could replace that string of lights (for the DRLs) with a custom engineered Led strip

Why do Newell coach have a Jenn-Air in every coach in a real oven as well as the invection oven?
The Jenn-Air has the grill and the four burners

What about custom solar options, especially in lieu of a generator?
I wonder if Newell will introduce a mirror less coach. So instead of outside mirrors they will use cameras that will produce the image on the inside of the A pillars...
I think there are antiquated US laws holding everyone back. There was a similar issue with headlight laws. Europe’s cars have evolved further simply because we won’t rewrite for modern considerations. I’m sure it’s coming though as soon as they allow

Andrew, does Newell have an all steel superstructure surrounding the entire Coach so if it has a rollover onto the roof the walls will not collapse like a fiberglass bonded sidewalls mass production coach does?

Star Link is raising rates. They are also going to slow down the data speed for people RVing as their residential business increases. They are going to limit to 1 terabyte once you have reached your data package limit they are going to start charging you for ever gigabyte used beyond the one terabyte.

Why do they have the coach sitting so low to the ground that you could get high centered on rough roads?

When Newell gets underlying certifications as a commercial public-transport coach with that level of structural integrity and safety, and when their weather assumptions match those being designed for even the northern Canadian market, then they might become competitive with Prevost for my money. With so many decades around RV's and the RV industry, being designed specifically to be an RV is actually a serious negative in my book, not a positive thing, because what it means in practice is _being unaccountable_ to any legal or regulatory vehicle standards other than initial roadworthiness-- and that lack of accountability is one of the most important dependencies upon which the RV industry manages to survive.
