I've been trying to find this FOREVER! I wore this tape out as a kid, thank you so much for posting this and allowing me to relive a small part of my childhood.

Damn I found it! It must be 34 years since I’ve laid eyes on this. Knew it by heart back then which makes me feel like I’m warping back to a day in my life as a child. Thank you.

Oh my god, I loved this vhs tape. I would watch this all the time with my mom when i was younger. I would watch this and also play with my dinosaur toys. I only found a portion of this video on here. But the whole thing? oh my god. I am so happy.

I feel like I have been in the museum for hours and that it's time to go to the gift shop and buy over priced dinosaur toys.

The creepy music, and unnatural narration with the mispronounced binomial names scared the living hell out of me as a kid.

Me too. When I heard the t-rex roaring combined with the audio design of the VHS, I would often cower under my blanket when I was a toddler.

It disturbs me as an adult but somehow as a child I was intrigued and not bothered in the slightest?

The creepy music and T-rex roar from the crappy vhs recording and the strange movement was so creepy I thought it was just me.

It's fascinating to look back on these kind of films made when the cause of the mesozoic's end was still an open question with competing theories instead of one being almost universally accepted as _the_ cause
Also they called it the great dying back then? That's intriguing considering that's the term for the Permian extinction now

I remember watching this on VHS for the first time when I was 6-7 years old and absolutely balling my little eyes out in the scene where the dinosaurs all died.

@@MistaVidz The part about dinosaurs standing upright, with the illustration, is not the current understanding of what a dinosaur's posture would look like. Last I heard, the long tail would actually balance out a body that would naturally lean forward rather than standing straight up and down. Although of course a dinosaur could adopt a more upright posture as necessary, this would not have been the norm.
