I'm not a religious person. However I'm a jewelry maker with religious family. Out of all of the tutorials I've seen on wire wrapped crosses, this one is the only one I really really like. I don't sell others work, I gift it. I can't wait to make this for my mom. Beautiful work
That's nice, but of course there is nothing wrong with selling stuff you make from learning from another person if someone wants to do that. After all, that's how it's been done for thousands of years. Someone has a skill, he teaches it to others and they use it. Nothing wrong with that. You give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. 💜
I just Wanted you to know I have watched many videos in my lifetime and you narrate perfect. I can follow your directions to the T. Thank you so much for posting this beautiful cross.
Once again, watching you make this crucifix, I am going to rewatch your steps, bending my wire as close to your as I can.. I really love the ease of using the pin-vice leg twister move, too. The best move is the Sacred Heart crucifix move, excellent! Add two 24 or 26ga red brass or gold wires, lightly twist & tweak together, attach across the heart, for a Sacred heart in style! Thank you so much for teaching and inspiring me! *JMJ*
Thank you so much! Very focused on the task. Easy to listen to. Nothing off focus. Ty. Easy to follow. No background music to take away attention. Very professional and very clear. Tly. You are now my number 1 tutorial to follow. Ty.
Thank you so much. Beautifully instructed. I am inspired and overjoyed. I will make it over and over until I perfect it. Thanks for your beautiful gift of instruction and this beautiful symbol of faith. God bless you.
Your video was so very good. Thank you! I am going to try to do this. I can tell by the way you talk that you love God and you were very caring when you spoke of Jesus. Thank ;you. We need more people like you. Good work.
I love the details you went through. You were a little speedy for me, so I started and stopped the video to catch up. Thank you for a great teach. Best wishes!
PS- I did it!!! Well... almost but close enough. I was trying to make it a bit smaller using 12 inches of 18ga copper round wire and ran a wee bit short of wire on one side when I got to the bail at the end. I'll get it ALL done correctly next time. I love your tutorial better than any I've seen because you use a single piece of wire for the entire main structure instead of making Jesus separately from the cross. It is the most EXCELLENT design!!❤❤❤ Thanks!! 👍😃
Just made my own elongated cross pendant thanks to the inspiration I got from you! I’ve been looking for one online for a few weeks and then thought, I have wire and can somewhat make jewelry, so I made one and love it! Thanks for the inspo!
My goodness I’m talking out loud to saying “You go boy this is beautiful “ Love your design When my husband was alive he always made crosses and I made 💜 z Thank you for the memories God bless everything you touch. And happy new year.
Ron... that was absolutely brilliant... thank you for taking the time to teach us... I am new to detailed wrapping, so I will start off with the cheaper craft wire.. but I cannot wait to try... your teaching method was very concise and easy to follow... thanks again
Beautifully crafted. You made it very easy for a beginner to follow along. I will come back to this video and craft a crucifix with you, so I get it right. Thank you for sharing this. I have two special friends I want to give this to for Xmas.
I passed up this video a couple times because I thought it would be too hard to do. You explained it very well and I am excited to make one. I wonder how many I'll screw up before I get it right. I'm looking forward to watch more of your videos Thank you ✌🏽️
A pin vise is nice to have but not absolutely necessary. Although I have a pin vise, I don't always use it if I'm in a hurry and needing a quick wire twist. You can hold one end of wire with pliers and securely wrap the other end of the wire around a nail to hold it in place then turn the nail to twist while holding the other end in the pliers still. There's usually workaround for most anything if you allow yourself to get creative. I can't begin to tell you the many tool alternatives I've use when wire wrapping jewelry. LOL! Good luck! 🙂
Es maravilloso ver trabajar a un artista. No es solo tu habilidad, sino tu creatividad . Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos y despertar nuestro sentidos artístico.
Thanks so much for these instructions. You do beautiful wire work.❤❤❤ I first saw one of these about 3 years ago and I took a picture of it with the intention of trying to make one but then I never did. Now I am truly motivated. I have a cousin who would absolutely love to receive this as a gift. How tall is the one in your tutorial? I think I would like to make one a little smaller for myself. I imagine it could be done with round wire but would it look as nice? Also, just curious about when you sold them for $65.... was that for the pendant alone or did you include a chain? Again, thanks so much for this and BTW, I liked and subscribed! 👍😃
Yes that's a little scrap pile. I actually prefer gold filled to work in the metal reacts more evenly, silver for instance will spiral tighter near the end of the vise, where gold filled will spiral evenly. Folds hold better and keep better and the overall strength is better to work in. Silver is cheaper to demo with and a little easier to see on camera.

is there a reason you spread the hoop apart then squished them together later
Belíssima 😍 😍 👏👏👏👏👏
I'm glad I found this video. This would make a perfect gift for a friend of mine. What gauge wire do you use?
What's all that wire laying there, your bone yard? 😃😃. Why do you prefer sterling silver? Or, do you?
Yes that's a little scrap pile. Are these miniature tools??? 😃😃😃😃
🥰
