This drama was beautiful.Lessons learned: 1-Family is the most important thing in life. 2-Always appreciate and try to understand your parents choices for you because they only think about what's best for you .(Jian parents). 3- In life you will meet people like the grandpa .People who think they can steal your souls and dignity just because they got money.Make sure to never bow down to them because you may not get the chance to raise your head up again. 4- Never ever let go of your career and dreams for your lover and make sure to love someone who can accept your life choices and respects what you doing.(Jian and her lover). 5- Never live a life you are not oky with and don't be afraid to say what's on your mind(Jisu). 6-Believe in yourself and do what you think you deserve(Jiho). 7-Don't let poverty holds you back from the one you love and remember that it's temporary.(Jita and his wife). 8-Be with friends that know who you truly are .A friend that will die, cry and fight for you.(Heyok and JIAN). 10-Respect and dignity are more important than love. PS:The last two episodes made me cry really hard.I never cry that much in kdramaa but this one got me because the seo tesu father was the kind of dad I wish I had .

Again I came to an end. 6x of watching and still I can't pass every episode of it. This drama really has all the things pack in one box. How I wish millions of people who loves drama around the world will get a chance to watch this. It's not just an imaginary drama but a realistic one. I just learned from Jiho and Seohyun that its important to know what is love and what is affection before going into relationship. They didnt date each other and thats the lesson for many of us. Because I think this is the common mistake that many of us do and end up in relationship with the wrong person and have breakup later on

Best ending i can think of, its realistic. Her father passed away peacefully knowing he’s done enough for his family. Jian and do kyung start over, they didnt meet by coincidence but because do kyung make an effort to be with her. ❤️ cant stop rewatching the last episode.
I really can’t stop myself from crying. I never regret watching this drama. This gave many lessons in life. Kudos to the actors who portrayed the characters well and to all staffs who made this drama.

Agreed...During the second half I actually started feeling sorry for Dokyung's family. His mom became a scheming bitch and control freak because her own dad is a scheming bastard and a control freak. Yes they have money but they have neither the love nor the freedom that Jian's family does.
The last two episodes made me cry so much. I remember my appa. I remember how my appa fights for his life. I remember how he suffered and I coudnt do anything to ease his pain. The scenes made me remember everything. And I miss my appa so much. Ilove him so much.
The storyline was quite unique. To me considering the pain both families had experienced I think the ending was perfect 4 this k drama. Loved the cast also.

Their ending was so classic. when they are talking about "fate" and "coincidence" elements here, it turns out that it was something that people create to make the opportunity. Brilliant! LOL No wonder Do Kyung is a businessman, he's trying everything to make his love comes true. Ji An's character becomes pessimistic in love at the end of the show but again the feelings for Do Kyung is strong after all.
Finally I got to the end. It was heartwarming to see everyone has settle down to a better life 💕 Started watching this coz I saw my friend watched it and wonder if it was really that great. And now I'm glad that I watched this drama, it was the best ✨
2023. Until now I cried a lot ,this screen is one of a kind , in addition of shin hye sun acting skill,two thumbs up...the father and shine hye sun must and deserves to have an awards.
I didn't like it at the beginning episodes but I got drawn to this as the episodes went by and fell in love with it, especially scenes between Dogyeong and Jian... I am pretty heartless when it comes to dramas but this one really pulled my heart strings. Kudos to all the cast and the well-written script!

Watched it for Shin Hye Sun. Stayed for everyone. This drama broke my image about long dramas. Its near to impossible to maintain the same level of energy until the last episode. But the creators and whole team of this drama exceeded my expectations. It was far better than most of the current short dramas of 16 episodes. ACTING - 10/10 STORYLINE - 10/10 CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT - 10/10 STORY PROGRESS - 10/10
This ending is realistic! If they were to get married it would totally throw jians character out of wack because thats not the type of person she is and she wants to fulfill her promise she made to her father before he passed. I love this ending! It makes so much sense!

And it was her father who made sure that she can be proud once again in front of DK’s family. The ending was realistic and nicely done. This family drama is also about the love story between Seo Tae Soo and Seo Ji An. The two of them make a very touching pair and they should win the best couple award. I loved this drama so much and will miss watching it.

Not a kdrama fan but I’ve watched few. This is the best. The story hits me hard. It’s about family, dreams, love, personalities, they’ve even included depression, etc. All in one! Ths drama is deep in soo many levels. It speaks in so many ways the 2 dads the 2 moms. It showed the real struggle within both rich n poor families. Love n true meaning of family. For me the best actor was Taeso Seo that man had me laughing n crying with him. All the characters were on point 🎉

I really can’t stop myself from crying. I never regret watching this drama. This gave many lessons in life. Kudos to the actors who portrayed the characters well and to all staffs who made this drama.

Agreed...During the second half I actually started feeling sorry for Dokyung's family. His mom became a scheming bitch and control freak because her own dad is a scheming bastard and a control freak. Yes they have money but they have neither the love nor the freedom that Jian's family does.
The last two episodes made me cry so much. I remember my appa. I remember how my appa fights for his life. I remember how he suffered and I coudnt do anything to ease his pain. The scenes made me remember everything. And I miss my appa so much. Ilove him so much.
Jian and her father Seo Taesu are true definition of "dady's daughter"...I really love the drama and the OSTs too...

The storyline was quite unique. To me considering the pain both families had experienced I think the ending was perfect 4 this k drama. Loved the cast also.

2023. Until now I cried a lot ,this screen is one of a kind , in addition of shin hye sun acting skill,two thumbs up...the father and shine hye sun must and deserves to have an awards.
I didn't like it at the beginning episodes but I got drawn to this as the episodes went by and fell in love with it, especially scenes between Dogyeong and Jian... I am pretty heartless when it comes to dramas but this one really pulled my heart strings. Kudos to all the cast and the well-written script!

The only time I would comment but I would say that I've watched this countless times already. One of her(Shin Hae-sun's) biggest fans here!!! Can't get enough of this drama. I may be 4-5 years late, but I'm desperately asking for season 2🥺 even though I know it's impossible.
I just finished watching it the second time now. This drama is by far the best I have seen. It was painful but full of lessons. It has 52 worth it episodes to watch.

This drama broke my image about long dramas. Its near to impossible to maintain the same level of energy until the last episode. But the creators and whole team of this drama exceeded my expectations. It was far better than most of the current short dramas of 16 episodes.

This ending is realistic! If they were to get married it would totally throw jians character out of wack because thats not the type of person she is and she wants to fulfill her promise she made to her father before he passed. I love this ending! It makes so much sense!
Axgxl Lxvxie Yes, exactly. JA’s character was supposedly proud, principled and hard headed. For the most part of this drama she was ashamed of herself for what she had done to her family. And it was her father who made sure that she can be proud once again in front of DK’s family. The ending was realistic and nicely done. This family drama is also about the love story between Seo Tae Soo and Seo Ji An. The two of them make a very touching pair and they should win the best couple award. I loved this drama so much and will miss watching it.

Not a kdrama fan but I’ve watched few. This is the best. The story hits me hard. It’s about family, dreams, love, personalities, they’ve even included depression, etc. All in one! Good job to the writer, the staffs, and the actors! Never got this hooked. Only watched few ep on the tv while working from home and the rest is history. Again, the best!

Ths drama is deep in soo many levels. It speaks in so many ways the 2 dads the 2 moms. It showed the real struggle within both rich n poor families. Love n true meaning of family. For me the best actor was Taeso Seo that man had me laughing n crying with him. All the characters were on point 🎉
From beginning to end, such a beautiful series. Very true to the ordinary family life, showing the difference disfuctional Family and. The unhappiness on both sides. For me.
