This was extremely helpful video. Thanks for putting it together.
This video was incredible! Thank you
great video! Thanks for posting and look forward to Keyboard Maestro vid!
You’re so active now, keep it up bro.
Excellent tutorial.
Great video. Keep posting!
Jesse, this is great. I am not a developer. As a business owner of a marketing company Alfred has been extremely helpful, but I don’t know if Keyboard Mistro would be too involved. I’ve very tech savy, but it would have to really increase my daily productivity.
great video! thx!
This is a really nice and informative video
Ah, great tips, could really use a few! And now I looked for the video for Keyboard-Maestro, but didn't find it, that would definitely be very (!) interesting too! Keep it up!
yes, please make the keyboard maestro videos. was tempted to purchase powerpack but may hold off a bit
Amazing dawg, thanks for the video!
Will you ever do that vid. on Keyboard Maestro btw? Would love to see how you use it.
I went back to Windows after that video, unfortunately.
Excellent video!
so coool! Keep it up!!
Hi, where did you find this wallpaper?
Man, thanks for sharing. You definitely gotta make more content like this. Looking forward to giving those other apps you recommended a try. ツ
For your weather workflow, how did you set the service you want to use. I am a new user so I don't know how any of this works
Great video Jesse - huge fan of alfred, but I've just looked at keyboard maestro and I'm not really clear what additional functionality this brings to the table. Most of the hotkey functions and examples I see from their forums can be done in alfred pretty easily. So I'd be super curious to see how you use it in your own workflow 💪
Keyboard Maestro, you create more advanced Macros, I now have both Keyboard Maestro and Alfred. Alfred is more of a Spotlight replacement. KM does better with advanced automation.
@@AutomationMaestro Do you have an example of some advanced automations with keyboard maestro? I downloaded it but couldn't find a use case for it
thanks
Excellent tutorial, by the way what alfred theme you are using in this video?
Here is my credit card :P
Take my money!
I would like to see your keyboard maestro video. Are you still thinking about making one?
Do you share the workflows on weather or the others?
Great stuff. so fact tho.
Thanks, it is quite interesting and helpful. Lets do something more complicated - how to run DoNotDisturb automatically when using Zoom / Skype. Can you show that workflow?
what theme for the alfred search bar are you using here?
You should link the workflows mentioned in the description of the video
can I create a workflow to run your vid at 33 1/3 instead of 78?
I assume you're just making a joke. But, if not, there's a great Firefox extension Enhancer for RUclips (looks like Chrome has one too, but I can't vouch for that one).
What software do you use for screen recording in these videos if you don't mind me asking?
Screenflow
How do you config your terminal
So I spent most of the video thinking that I need to get Alfred. Then you threw that curveball at the end that you have mainly migrated to Keyboard Maestro. I'm a software developer so my main use cases will be scripting and snippets. Should I get Alfred, Keyboard Maestro ... both? I'm doing my own research too but wanted your opinion
Well, I started with Alfred. I was happy with it until I discovered Keyboard Maestro. Now Alfred looks like a locked-down baby version of Keyboard Maestro. I'm a developer as well and Keyboard Maestro is the way to go for sure! I do use them both daily. Alfred as a launcher, file search, clipboard manager and a couple other small things. Keyboard Maestro for ALL of my shortcuts and annoying things that I ended up writing a script for. So in short, both.
As a user of Alfred (a little less than 10 years), KM (less than 2 years) and TextExpander (around 6 years), I would say all of them especially if you want to create more advanced snippets, as fast as possible. From my experience, snippets in Alfred can be fairly advanced and easily created but not as advanced as in TextExpander and of course KM. KM user interface is not the best for snippets management (takes more time to create or edit a snippet in KM than in TE or Alfred), but with KM you can create very advanced snippets especially if you know how to script.
do i need to buy the premium version in order to use workflows?

May I forgot the video playback speed at 2.x ?
just wondering, is the video sped up by like 1.1 or 1.2x?
I think so, I don't really remember. Maybe too much coffee that day ☕?
@@jesse19skelton haha maybe. great video though!
what's your keyboard ?
Cheap $35 Aukey keyboard from Amazon
Great video ! but a bit too fast at normal speed and with 0.75 lecture speed the sound is a bit weird
I agree with you. The next video will be a bit slower.
How much did you drink before this video?
How does this man talk in 1.25 speed?
Hey, I added 5 minutes to your life. You welcome
maybe the content was good but the rapid sort of staccato delivery made me move on...
Thanks for the feedback
Memes and smiles... Yea this is really usefull, facepalm...
