Thank you. I was blaming Canon thinking they sent out a firmware update to mess up the Viltrox adapters. The counter clockwise rotation fixed it

Hi. Thanks for your help. Have you noticed that after you have fixed infinity focus with Sigma Lens on the Viltrox, using other lens on the same adapter do not reach infinity ? I have just come across this issue and am looking for a solution. Thanks. JohnO
You can still use your 18-35 which is meant for APS-C sensors with the speedbooster and not get vignetting and have to crop your photos?
Hi! After adjusting the infinity focus does can it still focus at subjects up close? Or do you have to turn it back again to make it focus to something small like a phone or a coin?
It will be slightly further out on the close focus but you can still focus on close objects.
Came across the video on the Videography sub reddit. Have you noticed any real improvements going from v1 of the adapter to v2? I have a v1 that works ok for the most part but if there are any improvements in things like autofocus it might be worth me picking up a v2.
I haven't noticed ANY differences besides the fit is a little tighter. Actually, it's too tight in my opinion. Feels like I need a wrench to get a lens on it lol

1:43 Do you have any problems removing the adapter if you install the adapter first, then the lens? The instructions say to install the lens to the adapter, then to install them together to the camera, right?
hmm, actually you can mark or use a little sticker on a random spot of the glass, then rotate it , each time you can see the difference and choose the most accurate one.

Non, it doesn't... The EF-S lenses are a bit longer at tha back and it doesn't fit in the EF-M2 II. But you can hack some lenses as I did for my EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 and an old Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM)
Other than having the focus ring set to Infinity, does it matter what the zoom ring is set to on the Sigma 18-35 when you're trying to adjust the Viltrox?
It's been a while since I dealt with this. I think you'll probably want to make sure you can get to a clear infinity focus, so I'd keep it there.
My gh5 with this set up, same adaptor and sigma lense will never focus in manual or AF at 18mm.
Is this the same problem here? It's so annoying. Hoping this fix will address it, makes me feel like I'm loosing my mind and has messed up some shoots.
Does this mean it will spin all the way around without being tight?

Recently, I bought a Viltrox EF-M2 II and a Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 for my Panasonic GH5, but when I attach the lens to the adapter, it doesn't fit completely, it stays halfway and doesn't lock onto the adapter.
Does anyone know what could be the issue?

Hi, I just bought the sigma 18-35 for my gh5 and the VILTROX EF-M2 II 0.71x Focal Reducer Booster Adapter but it wont let me change the Aperture it just says 0.0. Do you know how to fix this?

Just bought a used vII VOLTROX. I am using the EF CANON 28-105 lense. Auto focus not working. Occasionally the error message pops up "LENSE ADAPTER FAIL". Advise????
I'd check all the connection points and make sure they look good. Next, i'd update the firmware on the adapter and your camera. Just use a usb cable and connect it to your computer. Download the firmware from their site and install it. Some newer lenses need the firmware update i believe.

@@jesse19skelton I purchased a GH4 Panasonic as an upgrade from my hd camcorders. but finding that there is all kinds of lenses and adapters and It is getting pretty fustrating. I shoot weddings and event and would like the best versatile lense for the GH4 to get the work done. I am use to using zoom and auto focus on the camcorders but now it's a challenge

Yea, I just adjust it so it works "pretty well" for all my lenses VS "perfect" on one lens.
