I learned about your work through jonthepotter and I very much enjoy watching your Kiln unloading. It wasn't until this one that I realized part of the reason I enjoy you're speaking, I think it's because you sound like mr. Rogers....lol
I would love to have one of your mugs. I ordered one from someone online and the handle wasn’t attached well and broke off clean. I don’t think I’d have that problem with yours ever. Maybe one day, I’m retired so I’ll have to save for a while for one. LOL
I am a fan of your superior technical throwing and carving skill along with your more technically clean gazing technique, Your "peacock" bowls are fabulous.
Bought one of the mugs you fired with Jonthepotter from him, love it. Wish I could buy a couple of the peacock bowls and the vertical carved mug with the copper red and blue. Please make more of those when you do have a sale online.
Open with a bang and then the show just doesn't stop. Ouwww. Ahhh. Just one amazing fireworks show raining down. Glad to see you get a best kiln unloading.
Glad to see more of your work. I have tried the Norse blue and winter wood but at cone 6 (electric), they are not quite as stand out as these. I think your cone 10 but your also gas reduction so maybe it changes some. Have you ever tried using the strontium crystal magic and adding magnesium wash or dark or light flux?
These vases are pretty sweet. Goodjob.
I love your carved mugs.
Wow so many awesome pieces❤
I love the carved mugs!
Just love the glazes so magical 🇬🇧🦋
Brilliant pottery. Love it, Jennifer from Downunder 👍🏻
EXCELLENT LOAD AGAIN!
Cheers...Freddie
Woweee! You are right! Best glaze kiln ever! Every piece is spectacular. You did it again! Congratulations!

That Copper red is amazing
Love the carved mugs Wow!
I am loving your carved cups and how they glazed, but everything came out so nice. Good job as always.

Still loving your copper red! Outstanding kiln load Matthew. I loved the time-lapse at the end of your set-up at your booth at the show.
That sgrafitto is pretty sweet!
A+ sgraffito work - I like the tone of that black slip and that winter wood looks like improved yellow salt. I love it- subbed

Awesome pieces.
Beautiful work. Love the glaze action on carved pieces.
Do you ever do green tea with the rutile blue? Love these!!!
Glad you had such a great kiln opening!
Every piece is amazing!! So impressed!!
Seen the bowl that we now have in our home!!!
Your pots are the best!
Мэтью, это отличная работа. Желаю тебе успехов в гончарном деле.
Absolutely beautiful pots!! Awesome kiln load..
"Copper red" we say in Sweden "Oxblod" Bull Blood.
Absolutely gorgeous kiln opening!
GORGEOUS!!!
Matthew, you have some really beautiful pieces in this load. What cone did you fire to for this load.
Cone 11
Stellar kiln opening….WOW….quick question these are all your own glazes correct?
Amazing!
Love using green tea
Where can we find that copper red???
I found my recipe online. Are you firing cone 10-11 reduction?
@@MatthewKellyPottery I'm so new to firing. I have skutt 818P so prob cone 6? I'm sure it might not be as vibrant...
Copper red will only work in a reduction atmosphere. You can look up commercial glazes from Mayco and others that may give you a similar red color.
@@MatthewKellyPottery thank you Matthew for answering.. I'm not sure any other red could come close to the lushness of THAT red!!!
@@jackiemorrison6024 , sadly you’re right, but beautiful things to be made with other glazes

I want to build a gas fired kiln, is it hard?
Love your stuff. I'd need to win the lottery to get the stuff I'd like, lol 😄
Good luck 😊🇨🇦
Hai Matthew, is it possible to get the recipe of rutile blue?
Matthew what's the name of your clay supplier I'm in Virginia Trying to find some place close to home Thanks for your help
Beautiful work ! I was told strontium crystal magic (sp) wasn’t food safe. What’s your opinion ?
The red is beautiful but looks creepy, like blood. Great for October.
what cone did you fire up to?
Cone 11
