Thank you so much. Love to see your beautiful pieces along with those that have issues. I’ve had some struggles with pin holes. I thought it was may application technique, I never thought it could be because my kiln got too hot. The struggle is real.
THis is better camera angle…. Love your blue rutile, pls do more of it. Two options for faulty pieces. Sell as ‘seconds’ with no apology, or try a refire and see if faults disappear. Truth be known, for you it is probably easier just to remake them. And you are right, bummer it is on your commissioned work. Like how you figured out where the error could have happened. Cheers
Thanks so much. I considered taking that little chat out and then thought others might benefit from me musing and trying to figure out the problem. Cheers!
I know that you have been doing this a long time, but you must be very proud of the work you do. I am enamored with your work. Thanks so much for sharing.
Your carving, bowls and plates are brilliantly glazed. I am hearing that DRIpping technique is approaching bygone.... Your peacock glazing is superior.
What do you do with the failures? . . . the pieces you don't think are good enough to sell. Do you just throw them away, or do you break them up and use the pieces somehow?
I like this angle as well. I just can’t express how amaaaazing your pots are!! Every dang one, even the ones that you said had mistakes. I love them all!!
Is there a functional reason to leave that much empty space at the top of the kiln? Or... Is that just a function of how many pots you had to fire at the time?
The angle is perfect. I hate when custom orders fail. I’ve had a lot of blistering lately.
Beautiful pots! This angle looks better to me.
The last piece was deadly!

I loved the last bowl the most. By the time I see this, you will have sold it. Plus I could not afford it, I just love your work. From Aussie Land
Love the red plate and vase
Even in New Zealand Murphy’s law kicks in on the ordered pieces. Keep up the good work on the videos. Cheers.
Beautiful platter...😇
I like this angle more, it shows less of the background, and there isn't a distorted fisheye effect
Love the swirl plates and the peacock bowls.
So excited to catch this today!!
They look great. Love that large red & blue peacock bowl. 😊👍
Good luck at your sale. ✌
You mentioned glass in the bottom of the serving bowls. Are they food safe with glass? Great kiln opening!
Question: I thought strontium crystal magic wasn't food safe?
Such a handsome guy, pottery is beautiful too 😉
Question? Why does my copper red come out mostly yellow? Perhaps you know (electric kiln) or maybe you don’t
love your work, such an inspiration
I like this one more for sure

Good luck at the show. Sorry about the commission order. Loving the other blue plates and the super red platter/ plate.

Hey Matthew, First I like tbis camera angle better. Second, whT kind of gas kiln do you have? I will be looking for one in the near future. Thanks!
LP - liquid propane
@@MatthewKellyPottery did you build it or buy it?
I haven’t theown a pot in 18 years and truly miss glazing and the drips. Your pots are so lovely and colorful. Thx for sharing
Your strontium crystal dot plate reminds me of Chinese Checkers.

What show are you doing in Charlotte? I love your work and would love to see it in person!!

I like this lens better than the wide angle lens
mostly successful firing, shame about the plates. Love the colours you use Matt.
😍@11:57!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS SETUP!!! 110%

I didn’t have enough pots ready to glaze fire to fill the kiln. I’d rather fill the kiln completely before firing.
All still great isn’t it funny how the favorite or custom pieces almost always mess up both cameras look good have fun with your show
Man! I need a gas kiln! Great looking pots as always!! Love your work
