I love the violin!!!! I played for 14 years and stopped halfway through college, I miss it soooo bad!!! It was always so relaxing for me! It took A LOT of hard work to get where I was. I have forgotten how therapeutic playing can be! This is making me want to start playing again!!! Love your videos!!

My daughter is just about to start learning to play the violin!! It was interesting to see what she is in for!! Lots of hard work but worth it when you see what she could eventually do thank you!!!

it was so interesting learning about the posture becsue i'm in chorus and i never thought much about the posture of a violinist. :)

UGHHH this reminds me of when i had to take strings in college. (Vocal music ed graduate) I chose the violin ohhhh my... it sounded like a cat's death cry every time i played LOL Playing instruments is SOO different than singing, but i want to lean how to play something. Work on the violin though YOU GOT THIS LISA!!

@B2tumelo I'm left handed and I wasn't premature and my daughter is right handed and she was premature, so I don't know what stats you are looking at, but my family doesn't fit them.

Hi girls, probably you didn't realize, but on the back wall you got a reproduction of one of the 14 paintings by Utens, who portraied all mansions owned by the powerful Medici Family. Search Wiki for "Villa Medicea di Marignolle" (avalable in Italian, German and French) or just "Giusto Utens" to get all 14. This one is in the close outskirts of Florence. Have you ever visited Florence? Skunk Anansie is performing right now, Patty Smith comes often, what are YOU waiting for?? :-P
