Nerdist so my problem with this video is that you're essentially needing the flash by making his ability follow the laws of physics and yet you do not do the same for night crawler
Alright I see where this is going. Here's an FAQ: *Yes, the Flash has beaten instantaneous teleportation in the comics before. But then it's not instantaneous is it? Any kind of travel takes time (even backwards in time), and so saying you can beat instant travel is more a semantics question than a physics question. *Yes, the Flash can run FTL and go back in time in the comics. I wanted a race, and as far as we know FTL travel is impossible, so I gave him a limit that we could work with. It's always more fun to add to a universe rather than debunk it! *If we want to analyze these kind of battles at all scientifically, we need to make reasonable assumptions. Assuming backwards time travel and/or FTL travel makes it a non-starter. I gave Nightcrawler the benefit of the doubt because I think it's an interesting question, and that we can learn from it! Thanks for keeping me on my toes! -- KH
Dude, what abou time dilation? I guess, correct me if I'm wrong, at Flash's perspective no time have passed at all, so if he starts with full speed, he will get to finish line instantaneously.
doesnt nigthy boy needs to see the place he teleports to before he can actually teleport? yeah if we could make a long straight lane without obstacles for both of them to race, vision wouldnt matter but..... doesnt the eyes take a few moments to process the light that comes to them to form the image? effectively giving an edge of 0,00001 seconds to the flash that doesnt actually need to see where he is going (and can actually see while running at speed of light.. because speed force)
I would say yes, it's still instantaneous, because the Flash moved so fast he approached trans-time velocity, which, if the old comics have their science decent, Flash could be anywhere and everywhere at the same time. So he kinda broke speed in that moment. Being faster than instant.
It is still instantaneous, you have to take the concept that you used in this video. It took nightcrawler time to 'rematerialize' to the intended destination. All flash has to do is make it to the destination before they rematerialize which he has done in the comics
When he assumed The Flash's speed limit to be the speed of light "because physics", I laughed because of how Flash artists explain his physics-breaking feats..."because Speedforce."
Hara Suparyanto not really he beat them because he got there before they would have reconstructed themselves on the other side. But also consider it was never explained how the teleported
loki that was only in apocalypse and when he first learned to teleport. In his prime, so was able to teleport anywhere as long as he could picture it in his mind
@@alexlanter9928 lol you need to know what specific coordinates or location in mars you can't just look at the moon and teleport and if you can your probably gonna teleport Infront of the moon not in the surface of the moon
Then again if they wait till some type of "Go!" the flash would immediately start running at the speed of light the literal second he sees it while Kurt has to make the decision to teleport in the first place while Flash is already moving at lightspeed. He would make it there and back many times before Nightcrawler actually initiates his teleportation
Simply Beast dosnt the flash also have to make the decision to start running? And wouldn't the thought of teleporting be faster to think about running then running?
Like, hundreds of thousands of times faster, like, the Flash would be there, back, there again, back again, and so on for hundreds of times before Kurt noticed the Go! signal :/
i think the specific time he can think in is one attosecond, a theoretical measurement of time for us. we've only measured to 11 attoseconds, if i remember correctly.
If you want to compare the speed of both you simply have to assume that both start at the same point even if that would mean that you would have to delay Flash so both start at exactly the same time. This is a test of speed not of reaction.
Time is so fleeting. How long has it been? In this realm of void, the immaculate oblivion rends all reason. My search has lead me to ruin. Emptiness. Nothingness. The faintest of sparks flicker in my decayed, withered mind. Why am I here? What is my goal? Why do I search? It has been so long. Beyond time and logic. Slithering doubt seeps into my being. This is insanity. True, black despair. I have given up. I have given up hope of finding someone on the internet that can take a joke.
You need to factor in Flashs reaction time. Nightcrawler has to think of a location, while the flash is already running the very plank-second the race starts because of how Flash perceives time.
"Let's say flash is as fast as light" (quits watching) Seriously, why do DC character breakdowns always nerf the shit out of them? The flash outran the gravity a blackhole (light can't) The flash can run so fast he literally rips through time and reality. The speed force allows him to go far beyond light speed. He can think in less than attoseconds. The flash is unfathomably fast. Teleportation is null at this point.
I understand he needs numbers to work with, but gutting the character's abilities in an ability-based video is just sorta, 'eeeehhhhhh.' And his line about 'because physics' leads me to believe he sets flash at equal to light speed because of e=mc2, which flash can ignore if he so chooses, which ignoring that is a massive limitation to his power. Saying flash is fast is like saying thor's hammer is heavy, it's true, but not totally accurate.
Yeah except the thing is, uh, that's uh, we have a word for that kind of argument, it's on the tip of my tongue, it's uh... Oh yeah: god-modding bullshit.
Wasn't it he could perceive things that happen in a picosecond. I maybe be getting that confused with attoseconds and I'm not sure which one is faster. Please feel free to correct me
see I would agree with you but didn't the flash beat someone using instant teleportation across the Galaxy. gear fourth going faster than the shortest amount of time measurable which is a plank second if I am not mistaken
Jason Grace Man I see you commenting in every comment trying to prove or change people's minds. Flash is a fictional character, you can't just take him and try to apply the physics of our universe on him so easily. The speed force is what allowed him to beat instant teletransportation, because... speed force. You like it or not, make sense or not, that's how it went in the comic. If you won't take the speed force in account when you try and explain him then don't try it in the first place, if you take the speed force out of him he is simply no longer the Flash.
DC writers confirmed that the physics of our universe applies to the DC universe as well, that's why speedforce exists, Supes has forcefields and stuff. They WANT us to apply the physics, that is the reason for writing in an omnipresent entity which allows speedsters to go faster than speedforce. And to beat the teleportation, he needed the power of the entire human race. I'll show you the calculations if you want, done by Aweseomemeccry as proof: Remember that time when Flash "outran" the teleporter in the comic "the human race"? Welp, I finally have it within my power to end this debate. Prepare yourself: So, during this comic, flash challenges a teleporter to a race; first one who can make it to Earth wins. Now, before Flash begins the race, he needs as MUCH kinetic energy as he can possibly get, so he asks everyone on Earth to start running. Plus he had Krakkl's speed (who is ftl) and all of krakkl's people's speed. So, now that flash has absorbed as much kinetic energy as he can possibly get to amplify the power of his speed force, he is ready to race someone who can warp. Now, let's science: Wally vs cosmic gamblers. During this race, he states that he manages to reach "trans-time velocity", going beyond the limits of time and space, to match the speed of an instantaneous signal as it crosses the distance from the Moon to the Earth. As it was supposedly instantaneous, but moving from Wally's perspective, and Wally's transition to "trans-time speed" was described as taking "a fraction of a second so infinitesimal no word exists to describe it", it would actually be conservative to say he crossed the distance from the moon to the Earth in 1 Planck time. What is planck time? Basically the smallest unit of time possible in our universe. Now for some math: Earth-Moon distance = 384,000 km. Planck time = 5.39106e-44 seconds. Thus Wally's speed here is a mind-shattering 2.375944852e43c. After this he slows down a bit, but still manages to set every radio on Earth to a specific frequency within what he calls a "septo-second". I can't find any statistics on the amount of radios in the world, but it's a very common technology that has been around for over a century, so just to be conservative I'll say 1 billion. Now what I'm going to do next is probably a bit sloppy, but it's the best I could think of. Surface area of Earth = 510,072,000 km^2. Divided by 1 billion, we get 0.510072 km^2. Assuming the radios are equidistant (obviously not but it's the only thing I can think of), the radius of a circle with that area would be 5.455407592 m. Double this to get the average distance between radios, 10.91081518 m. Multiply this by a billion for the total distance traveled: 10,910,815,180 m. 1 Septosecond = 10e-21 seconds, so his speed here would be 3.639456195e22c. Finally, estimating the total average speed of the race against the Cosmic Gamblers, they started on the other side of the universe: And reached Earth before the gambler had time to process a thought. Using 0.0083333333 seconds, and the diameter of the universe at 93 billion light-years, the average speed would be 3.519417614e20c. So for short, Flash with the power of THE HUMANS managed to run at: 23,759,448,520,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000x the speed of light. So there you go. It isn't instant, but it's fast. So there you see, teleportation trumps everything. If Flash travelled across the universe in an instant, it would take 2 instants for him to travel across 2 universes, 3 instants for 3 universes and so on. Meanwhile, teleportation has the constant speed everywhere. It's nigh-omnipresence, and only omnipresence can beat it. So no, there are loads of beings faster than Flash.
you also did not factor in reaction time. flash reacts way faster than nightcrawler. he would start running way before nightcrawler even knew it was time to start
Sure, but still teleportation is supposed to beat flash over the long distance. IE: Light from far away stars take a long time to reach us at lightspeed, but teleportation is instant. We never see Flash go Lightspeed or beyond from the starting point like how Kyle did it. He always takes effort to accelerate to lightspeed, so was it fair to give Flash 0 Sec reaction time and not Kurt? I say no
Joe Higashi he did... he said his reaction is assumed to be 0.001 ms and it takes 0 s to teleport hence total time to travel the distance would be 0.001 milliseconds which is his reaction time. Its not realistic number if he had 0.1 ms then would beed to travel 6.5 million meters in one teleport to beat flash
Actually, in the X-Men animated series, there was an episode that explained the Kurt (NIghtcrawler) still had to cover the same physical distance, he wasn't actually teleporting through space/time. Instead, he was teleporting into another dimension, crossing the physical space from where he started, to where he wanted to appear, then teleporting into that same space back in our dimension. It only looks instantaneous to us, because time in the other dimension runs so much slower.
Have you not read any other comments??? The flash can run from 1 edge of the universe to another faster than instant teleportation 0.002 seconds is really slow and the flash would be able to run there then do about 400 laps around the world and still be there in time
aka 23,759,449,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000x the speed of light faster than instant teleportation. shown in the race between the cosmic gamblers to see if he could run across the universe way faster than instant teleportation
Like squid said, it's called trans time velocity. Not to mention he can run so fast that he can move through time. So theoretically they could start the race, and he could arrive at the finish line 5 minutes before the race started
This doesn't work but it assumes that the amount of time it takes Nightcrawler to teleport is the same no matter the distance. When Nightcrawler teleports he briefly enters another dimension that he uses as a short cut to get to his destination, however teleporting him further than his normal max distance causes him to spend longer in that dimension and therefore delays how long it takes for him to reappear on the other side. There's a whole episode of X-men Evolution where Forge builds Nightcrawler a machine that increases his teleport range, but it causes him to spend a lot more time in the other dimension.
TinchoX I'm working on finding proof, but I'm fairly certain it is. It's the reason why there's the sent of brimstone every time he teleports. The canonicity changes throughout the years however so it's hard to find definitive proof.
+Peter Townsend You shouldn't have had to look far for proof. Nightcrawler's father is Azazel whom is locked in the very dimension Kurt teleports through, that was his plan with all of his children. They're all an attempt by him to get out of his imprisonment once and for all, thus they all have powers connected to that dimension.
I thought I remembered something about a sulfer smell when Nightcrawler teleports. I also remember an episode of the X-Men Evolution TV Show where his teleportation slows down and shows he's porting through either a hellscape or possible The Actual Hell when he teleports.
You also have to take into account that Flashes reaction time is faster. As soon as the race began, before Nightcrawler would even think to teleport, Flash would already be half way to the finish line. 🏁
there was one moment when flash ran faster that some comic people teleported. That distance was definately bigger than 300 km and 650km, soooooo yeaaahhhhh.
parag basu By the way that was sarcasm. I know you might not have understood it because you were dumb enough to comment what you did, so yea. Clarification.
I really like the bloopers at the end, it shows that Kyle is very passionate about these topics and that he's not just a face presenting this show to us.
But the flash is beyond speed and time. he literally can move beyond any possible measurement. hell he beat instant teleportation, across the universe. Which means he moved from one location to another, faster than it takes 0 seconds to reach itself. Thus pretty much moved so fast he stopped being fast, because there was no form of time that could be used to calculate how fast he even moved.
John J He did that with the help of the Justice League and the entire population of earth lending him their kinetic energy. The only reason he won was "Because Speedforce".
None of that makes sense and we learn nothing. I want to get something out of these questions, you know? Other comic channels will just list off powers and make a conclusion. I don't think we actually learn anything from that. -- KH
Kurt is not teleporting, his dimensional shifting twice. Once to leave here, and then again in the Brimstone Dimension to come back to a destination he is familiar with on "earth". Flash can time travel and shift dimensions with some restrictions and it take him time to do so or the use of a device like the "Cosmic Treadmill". To be fair...have both phase shift in and out of the Brimstone Dimension or have both race in an unfamiliar location on earth.
Wally can arrive anywhere before anyone.. so even if Kurt can beat Wally or Barry in speed, Wally can for sure beat him using time manipulation and arrive there first.
Kyle, the Flash can run back in time and arrive at finish line exactly the moment he left the start line, thus making beating him in any race basically impossible. You realize that, right?
How can nightcrawler ever win when the Flase has won a race argents beings the can show up instentaniesli and they ditten even start on eath but endet here.
Grzegorz Bożyk you realize that the flash is way faster than light making him impossible to beat by anyone who doesn't have infinite speed so he doesn't really need to go back in time
Hey flash moves 6,000,000 times faster than the speed of light and beat a alien that has a chair that teleports in a instant to the end of the universe.
Thats the most idiotic shit i have ever heard , even in comics Edit: i mean , why is there still crime in dc's world if thats the case , why are there other superheroes?? They arent needed
@@Stuartw100 what??? Man , all im saying is that that power is way to op for not having any drawback ( as far as im aware ) . Sure , comics are a place where litteraly anything can happen , but if theres a story , you have to pay atention to it...
AnonymousBanana He will find himself in front of him. It is like run in circles (but with time), but there will be infinite flashes. However that is impossible.
? no he wouldn't? he would be there before night crawler, while his past self will not have reached the finish line yet, except it would eventually. yes there would probably be an infinite amount of him, but that doesnt defeat the fact that he was there first.
Kyle used the assumption that he's running @ the speed of light, so the Flash should finish the race at the exact time he started moving if he reached top speed instantly.
Nightcrawler would only win if you seriously slowed the Flash down. Cause at least according to canon he can run many times faster than the speed of light. might break causality, but who cares.
The biggest issue I see is that you're ignoring reaction times. Even if we assume all other limitations are the same, and nightcrawler could trigger his teleportation instantaneously, if he had normal human reaction times, by the time he realized the race had started, the flash would already be 75000 km away. Even if he had much faster reaction times, without flash-like speed, he's basically beaten right there.
the assumption is that they both react at the same time, because at that point are you measuring the reaction times or just the time it takes to travel the distance? To prove the point, did your comment ever address the actual speed they travel (from a to b) or the time it takes for them to begin traveling(how long before they realize the race started)? Everyone is applying the wrong numbers to unimportant things.
Yeah but again are we measuring there reactions or how fast they travel? What is the situation you gave for the flash? That by the time nighcralwer could THINK about teleportating and decide to activate it, flash would have surpassed him. You did not say BETWEEN the time nightcrawlers ability activates and completes, he would surpass him. Yeah, flash reacts faster then the nc, but again, at that point you are measuring different things because what matters in that situation, how fast they move or how fast they can think to move?
This comment section is cancer along with Flash's amount of speed. He breaks all kinds of laws that we know of, and then the writers just use the speed force to save their asses all the time. I almost feel like Superman is less overpowered than the Flash sometimes.
Well, that's probably because Superman is less overpowered than the Flash. They have to nerf or just ignore the implications of Flash's abilities on a way more constant basis than Superman's to keep stories interesting.
The Flash can destroy anything easily. And travel through time, create black holes, stop time, etc. And thats just in fiction. He would be even stronger in real life.
... Sure, okay, Supreme Kai teleported Goku, Beerus and others to the realm of Zeno, beyond the universes in an instant. So there ya go, he's faster than Flash, without any aid too!
joe mama your memory is not wrong but the kinetic energy he stole was put into the speed force me .every step a speedster takes with it increases his or her speed because it increases the energy added to the speed force. so even though some KE was given back, he still gained a tremendous amount of speed due to every footstep he took in that race
And flash moves beyond that. Yeah... It's comic book logic. Just like it's impossible to move faster than light (yet characters do it), it's certainly not beyond flash to move faster than instantaneous teleportation (both scenarios don't make sense in our world but in the comic book world they have something called the speedforce).
Flash beat only teleporter machine activation process and power-activation process. NEVER beat teleportation itself which ALWAYS have 0 time. NOTHING is smaller that zero...
Władca Wymiaru actually he did... he run so fast that he broke the rules... if you go and watch the video how fast is the flash the guy there explains it with details :D
flash is basically omnipotent he don't use his powers at full coz he can literally destroy the earth while doing so and then there's speed force which tries to suck him down everytime he goes faster then normal
Bharat Singh i know... But im saying he did beat the intant teleportation, he used all the kinetic energy in the universe in order to do it... But he did it
DefactoOverlord while that may be true, the Wally west flash has also time traveled before so really he just has to time travel to before he wins the race and get there first. The flash is faster than instant teleportation. No question.
All the Flash's can time travel. However, that's because the Speedforce opens up portals into the past/future which they travel through in order to get there.
Well sticking to the laws of physics i feel like the Flash shouldn't be able to run at light speed and Nightcrawler shouldn't be able to teleport, so don't stick to the laws of physics, also which Flash is racing because Wally is faster than Barry and the Flash also ran a distance further than our solar system in the smallest measurable amount of time known to human kind, but he was even faster basically teleporting, just faster
Btw you also said that the Flash gets to light speed instantly soooo... the Flash shouldn't have to gain the speed up his line should be like Night Crawlers or if anything Night Crawlers line should curve up
Abssurd which Wally? black one or white one? I've been hearing this around a lot lately and it's getting me annoyed because I know damn well that Barry has been the fastest for the longest time ever and I don't know too much about Wally west and definitely don't know much about the black Wally west so I'm kind of confused here is this after flashpoint new 52 or what? Please explain lol
The Flash can run faster thab the speed of light, and therefor travel back in time. You can't ignore that. You said yourself in one episode, "the Flash could punch you yesterday".
Flash- "My name is Barry Allen, and I am NOT the fastest man alive. I mean there's that one guy Zoom, then there's that other guy ReverseFlash, and Savitar⚡️
Brandon Webb please don't refer to the tv show as if it's canon. It's a cool show but completely irrelevant in terms of his canon story. Read the new 52 comic series, that's the current canon version of flash
The show is really nothing like the comics and they scale down his feats and speed so that he actually has struggles in the show. It is also basically when he just started
R&B gaming actually no Wally can manipulate the speed force more and is the fastest speed on average but Bart Allen has gone the fastest when he once absorbed all of the speed force and
The Flash could run into the past and get lunch, meet up with friends, fight crime, and be at the destination before Nightcrawler even started teleporting.
Barry Allen has won a race over a teleorting alien in comics, they raced from a spaceship to earth, and the alien said he teleport instently Sorry for my misspelling
Andy Westfall Here's the thing, it's about how his powers could be used in different ways. He could easily kill pretty much any hero and villain he wanted to, he can be completely invulnerable, he could even disrupt major aspects of the planet if he so chose. Unbeatable though is still a far stretch for the Flash if you know what to do.
Chris Newman It depends on if you are using actual science or comic book science. With what he has shown to do, yes he is rather absurd. I have seen people say that things that have shown to beat him in current continuity wouldn't work because... One person even said that if you had a magic stick that killed him instantly and you got him to touch it then he would live by running into the speed force and outrunning the effects of an instantaneous item forever.
Jav Hop ya but if night crawler can only teleport 650,000 meters and at 300,000 he beats flash at light speed flash would just have to go over light speed and hes done that millions of times, hes ran much faster then 1000x the speed of light
Flash was able to beat instantaneous teleportation from the edge of the universe to earth so flash is faster not being a butthurt fan-boy just stating facts from a comic book
By siphoning kinetic energy from everyone on Earth running as fast as they could and another planet full of speedsters doing the same, if I remember correctly. That wasn't under his own ability. That said, Flash is still ridiculously fast.
Yeah, but you put an artificial limit on Flash but not on Nightcrawler so it kinda skews the results towards Nightcrawler. If flash could run at the speed he runs in the comics then he would have beat Nightcrawler every time.
he required everyone on Earth to do something anything as fast as they can. that was to generate speed in the speed force so that the flash can use all the speed he can from it to beat that instantaneous teleportation.
Well yes there are specific conditions, but nightcrawler would possibly die teleporting that far, so he is under a special condition aswell, and if the distance is further than 650 he'd die so any race longer than that the flash would win, so he's still the fastest except for a very small window of length
Applying math doesn't mean "science". These two vidoes are different from the basic. Because Science is using real life physics as precondition (or at least what we have established at current stage), while the Imaginary Axis does not. And what we have estabilished now is, nothing can travel faster than light. So despite there is math applied in calculating how fast Flash can run, it is meaningless in physics, because math is but a tool in physics not the other way around.
True... firstly i think you forget that superhero stories are fiction... so that means the writer of the story makes up the world and the inner workings of that world... which means that they make up the laws of physics also... or they can say that the classical laws of physics apply... but that a plot device (i.e. the speed force in this case) allows the hero to break the classical laws of physics... secondly... the guy from imaginary axis is actually using mathematics and the story to figure out certain things within the subject... whatever the subject is... in this case since he is using comics... and what the writer said... he can say that the flash can travel at speeds of trans-time when he wants to... and the speed force allows the flash to do this without breaking the classical laws of physics using the speed force... although there are instances where he uses the speed force to break the classical laws of physics... again plot device... thirdly... although you are correct that nothing can travel faster than light... we still know very little about the universe right now... for many years we used to say that nothing can break the speed of sound... nowadays we have broken that barrier so many times its not even funny... so even though Einstein's laws of physics says that nothing travels faster than the speed of light... what i think you forget is that many of the things that he said was a guess... many of the things that he said were only confirmed after he died... many of the scientist today are constrained within the theory of relativity that they do not think outside the box... fourthly... what kyle doesn't take into account is nightcrawlers actual speed... which cannot be extrapolated because it is said that nightcrawler really teleports to hell... then teleports to any place he thinks of within a certain radius... since we do not really know the distance between earth and hell... and the actual time it takes for him to teleport... one cannot truly extrapolate his speed
Nerdist Flash's Speedforce gives him the ability to ignore such things as E=MC²,he beated instantaneous travel in a storyline. (BTW. I'm honored you replied.Greetings from Germany.)
Okay, so if we're ignoring the Magic of the Speed Force, you should do a video about at what % speed of light, Black Hole Barry (just a nickname I made up for this conversation) would have to be traveling before his mass exceeded that of a Black Hole. Also tangent on the various speeds he would destroy the Earth, or just cause severe damage, another tangent on the Friction burning up the Atmosphere.. etc.. I mean you could go on for awhile about how dangerous he actually is.
Vynjira The speedforce is everything that makes it even possible, just watch Imaginary Axis' video about flash.I know he would hummiliate everything and would completely destroy earth without speedforce.
the flash has travelled across the galaxy, instantaneously, in a race against the Cosmic gamblers, who have galactic teleportation in Flash Vol 2 #138 and he won, so flash is the fastest no matter the distance
*CRIMINALSNEAK* I regret to inform you but the reason we don't have any examples for FTL speed is simply because it either requires infinite energy or no mass to achieve. The flash can ignore this standard simply because of the speed force. If anything with mass HERE IN THE REAL WORLD were to move at 99.9 percent of light speed the atoms wouldn't be able to get out of the way in time and it would be like setting off a string of nuclear bombs every time.
Pardon me, this next bit will be a bit of a text wall. Particle accelerators do not have anything other than the particles they are accelerating at light speed in them. No gases, liquids, or solids. NOT EVEN DUST. The only thing they contain is the protons or electrons so you haven't proven anything with your response but what they did observe is while accelerating these particles in a controlled environment it generated heat and energy. In 2010 at the University of Nottingham, several academic experts admitted that they had little idea what would happen if one were to stick a hand inside the proton beam at the LHC. On July 13, 1978, a Soviet scientist named Anatoli Bugorski stuck his head in a particle accelerator. On that fateful day, Bugorski was checking malfunctioning equipment on the U-70 synchrotron, the largest particle accelerator in the Soviet Union, when a safety mechanism failed and a beam of protons travelling at near the speed of light passed straight through his head. In proton therapy, a cancer treatment that uses proton beams to destroy tumors was pioneered before Bugorski’s accident, the energy of these beams is generally not above 250 million electron volts. He received a dose of 304 times that much with 76 billion electron volts. It did remarkable damage to his face and that was with just a super thin beam of protons. BUT I'll add that we are not talking about electrons or protons moving at near the speed of light, we are talking about materials or people with mass moving through the environment around them. Flash can do this because the speed force would have to accelerate the air around him just enough so as to not have him cause nuclear fusion. The channel Vsauce3 has a video explaining this in a video about what would happen if you were punched by Superman.
The issue is that Nightcrawler doesnt simply teleport in a place and magically appears in another, but rather his power consists of teleporting to an alternate demon world in another dimension (not universe, dimension) and moving really fast in that world and then reappear in the real world. He moves throught that world so quickly that he is in no danger, but you can slow down this process in order to access thos demon world. That dimension, btw is filled with demons and burning fire and smoke, and thats why we see smoke whenever he teleports. So there is your reference to look up for the speed of his teleporting powers. I also think there is an X-M3n evolution episode about this...
Dream Chaser Maybe, the space between the atoms can be reduced, but the weight remains the same, meaning that the surface area of the object can be reduced but not it's weight , that's what I assume
That's not how relativity works. Time slows down for him, not for other people. If a space ship traveled near light speed towards Alpha Centauri, we back on Earth wouldn't be standing still. -- KH
jon dw he seemingly died during Crisis on Infinite Earths and 23 years later they revealed, he spent this time outrunning death so far into the future that death stopped being a concept. pretty impressive.
I would like to think that is incredible, but the writers really needed a way to bring him back. It's not that the Flash is impressive in that scenario but that Death must be limited to a human ideal such as concept and speed. That is the same logic as the movie Field of Dreams "if you build it they will come". I saw a program one day were a man said he did not believe in electricity ( basically the concept of electrical conductivity); while working with wires to restore power he did it with out safety equipment, well he was shocked, and thrown several feet because electricity does not become limited to his concept of it.
Cos running faster than things is the Flash's thing... I mean seriously it'd just kill the point of the Flash if someone/something moved faster than him in his own comic/universe. Writers/creators do it all the time with things like this where the obstacle has to be bigger than the thing before and so they cause their character to be backed into a corner and end up devising some way the character overcomes the obstacle no matter how bs or such the reasoning simply because that character has to survive/comeback/win. Outrunning death/concept of death has got to be the worst thing I've ever heard. Everything that is alive must inevitably die and if the Flash is alive then he too must die. There are no if's, and's or but's.
Yeah, speed force is trash, fans depends on the speed force argument when the flash is being compared to there like saitama, goku, superman, and quicksilver.
The Brennan thanks shout out huge fan super dope keep up and heumy so what would happen to walking dead zombies in winter in say like alpena or houghton michigan?
flash can run at 10 time the speed of light easy. he used earths energy to move past trans velocity. wich isnt even close to light speed by a couple of houndreds of 0 soooo yeah flash wins
+The Brennan Barry saved a city's populace from a nuclear explosion. He needs to run 9.4 million times faster than the speed of light in order to do that. In this video, Flash is underrated since it said he runs at the speed of light. Flash smokes Nightcrawler anytime.
Wrong Nightcrawler says himself that he can only teleport to places he's been to or can see with his eyes physically. So like a thumbprint placeholder if he's been to a certain favorite Udon Noodles place in Tokyo and he's in NYC he can travel there, it might be a lil more strenuous because of the distance/time spent in that brimstone dimension until he arrives in Tokyo but still way farther than 3km distance if he wants to
Wrong, Jumper can go anywhere that he wishes by pictures even but Night Crawler said in one of the movies that he can't teleport to places he hasnt seen
Jordan Aaron Smith If he did flashes true speed, then the video would be less than a minute long. Wally ran from across the universe to earth faster than instantaneous travel.
no,that will make someone said "stop ruining the world, flash, how many time you destroyed earth until you learn that traveling through time is bad idea" Remember when he went back and save his mother? world ended, remember the time when he went and warn batman? Martha happened and rotten tometo are everywhere and make DC rotten.
Thats exactly what happened in the Human Race, what everyone is referencing saying Flash was faster than instantaneous travel (which makes no sense as a sentence, he beat instant travel, he didnt go faster)...
Because the speed force allows him to break the laws of physics. If they were applying to him, he would fuse with the atoms in the air and essentially be unstable due to fission and explode but then the speedforce has no out valve to release its energy and it would build up and mess with the timestream. So it allows him to survive so that he can utilize its energy and relieve the cosmic build up
XVenoM actually since he has the power of an entity faster than anything, he can rather, beat the time wraiths easily. Also, the time wraiths only go after those who abuses the power of the speedforce and takes it for granted. So technically, the flash is not gonna get destroyed by it and also, he once trans-time which ment he moved faster than how the universe was created, and the universe was created in a "Plank Instant", meaning a 'Speed' that takes NO SECONDS at all, and just imagine The Flash moving faster than that. NOTHING can beat flash's strength and speed. Well if u wanna know why flash's strength is unbeatable (except he cant beat cosmic entities or entities who are paradoxical, meaning entities who you cant touch or feel magically, physically, or chemically or anything except cosmic power.), search it up on youtube.
they would roast each other cause flash would be faster than nightcrawler reaction time everytime and nightcrawler can go places that flash cant run so its not a valid conpetition
that's nicely put math problem. But if we'll consider physics (at least as much as we can regarding the topic). Flash, running at speed of light, will, as an observer at LS, not experience time whatsoever. Meaning, if 0.002 sec. point stands in "real time", for Barry there would be no time at all, even without crossing light speed/time barrier. However, for Kurt, teleportation, allegedly again, isn't FTL, but more a wormhole style, meaning his subjective time equals real time. Thus in Flashes subjective time, he is faster, no matter the distance.Even without crossing the realm of "reality", we still need to account for relativistic effects
That's not how time dilation works. The Flash may personally experience no time, but time still flows around him -- it doesn't stand still while he moves. -- KH
Nerdist True. That's why I specifically pointed out a Subjective time. In theory, no matter how slight the number is, Flash won't age for this 0.002 seconds, while Kurt will age 0.001 sec. For every 600 km. On a space scales, that would mean that Kurt will die of old age, while Flash won't have such problems
Again, that's not how it works. If the Flash could run at LS, he would "stop time" *for himself*. Photons don't age, and neither would he. But *he would have to run at LS for the relative amount of time he wants to pass*. Yes, Kurt could die of old age and the Flash wouldn't, but the Flash would have to run at LS for 60 years or whatever to do that. -- KH
+LuicD point of video is that we exclude time travel in sci-fi way. What I'm saying is, that while Kurt is faster on distance 300+ , he, unlike Flash, can't travel beyond ~100 Light years, because he will simply die from old age. For Flash, even if limited to LS and with no time travel, it will be a instant, biologically he won't age at all. But what KH says, is that real time will still flow, so if travelling 100 LS would take 100 years (roughly), starting now, Kurt will be dead on route, but Flash will arrive in year 2117. Overall, it's a bit of hare & tortoise dilemma. Kurt might be faster in certain conditions, but he won't make it to the finish line
I want to say, "Well the Speed Force grants any speedster like the Flash a 'Speed Force Aura' that compensates for things like friction and stopping his bones and organs from being crushed at high speeds. It's not from a side story or anything and is considered canon. The aura also protects the person/people the Flash grabs and moves from the same things." Jay Dhiru's comment explains the same thing, but condenses that whole quote into 2 words and an emoticon. However, I do agree that those people would die if the Flash were to move at such arbitrarily fast speeds within a time span such as an attosecond. If he had moved slower, the people might not have their bodies ripped in half, but then he wouldn't have saved everyone. I don't know how many people he saved or how much time he had before the bomb detonated, so it's only a conjecture.
About Flash being faster than Quicksilver and Nightcrawler: The flash is faster than quicksilver. Flash in one scene has saved the whole population of korea in a nuclear bomb explosion within a second and that is calculated to be 13 billion times faster than light. The flash did break the sound, light, and even the time barrier. He is the time himself. He stated that when he travel a country to country he can see everything and everyone within just an attoseconds. He is time. Before quicksilver even move the flash had already circled around the globe. If we are talking about this movie based from X-Men and The Flash series. The flash is already faster than quicksilver in this season 4 than the quicksilver who saved the whole people from the mansion. The quicksilver there only got 100k mach but the flash on flashtime episode where his speed is calculated his speed is mach 850k. 99.99% as fast as light. Now this nightcrawler thing. Before its brain even think the flash has already got there even in what universe it is. The flash outran deaths and space itself and he is so fast that he is time. Before the ions and the brain cells of this nightcrawler even think or works the flash is the winner. And if Flash is faster than Quicksilver and Quicksilver is faster tha Nightcrawler. Then we already know the fastest. Also flash has beaten teleportations already. We all know who's the winner. *The Flash*
He was actually moving at 25 quintillion mph which is 13 *trillion* times the speed of light, not just billion. He also outran instant teleportation across the universe, not only winning, but did so with enough time to tune every radio on earth to frequency X as well as lap Superman, Jay Garrick, Max Mercury, Impulse, and Jesse Quick simply because he could. He was moving so fast even they couldn't see him, and in doing so actually transcended and elevated into the 4th dimension. And if it's Wally West, if for some reason he isn't fast enough he can absorb kinetic energy to boost his speed. Also he outran the Black Flash to the end of the universe where even death ceased to exist as a concept because there was no life in order to die, and he saw our universe implode, the friction of which caused a massive explosion kick starting the next universe. The Flash isn't just fast, he *is* speed
hopefully someone will correct me on this this, but didnt the flash beat a big bad guy that could teleport from outer space somewhere because of a build up of kinetic energy having everyone on earth run on the spot or this purely without outside help?
Yes. In the comic Flash:The Human Race. From what I understood, Wally West Flash runs to Earth faster than Planck Instant, essentially negating time itself.
He did...but it was calculated (By the Imaginary Axis) that he was traveling trillions of times the speed of light which would've gone against his assumption cause physics.
Matt Crane-Watts, that moment when you realise you are probably the only person in your class that would have followed that conversation, at least with such ease... I feel let down by my fellow 13/14 year olds. Please tell me there are more hopeless nerds out there... anyone?
Well,it could also be made a question of terrain. Like putting an infinite gap between start- and finish line could give (depending on the width of that gap) Flash a very hard time.
Raiden Tube they said they were using the regular light speed flash because of physics, so they aren't using anything related in the comics using comicbook logic. Otherwise flash would win with the boundless amount of unscientific powers the comics have granted him.
lets put this in simple terms and question which breaks reality more a not really good explanation of a fast person moving faster then speed of light or someone that simply moves through something that is actually has a slight touch in reality aka wormholes.
Cryptic It is and it isn't. If put in the same scenario again but without the speed from all those people, then I'm not sure if he can beat instant teleportation again.
Jack Parkson Sure, but he doesn't necessarily have to have "instant" teleportation either, with Flashes other abilities of perceiving events in less than a attosecond he had the capability of going to point A to point B before it even fully registers in Night Crawlers mind, and he is able to steal his kinetic energy as well
Cryptic Also, Flash and all of the other speedsters (except for Eobard Thawne who gets his from the opposite speed force) get their speed from the speed force. When he absorbed those people's speed it was an imense boost to his power but his regular power source is the speed force.
SkullyChaine I'm not up to date on x-23, are we basing this on the comics, or is this about the new Logan movie, and if so do you know she grew them that way or are you basing it on the commercials?
Her claws were surgically removed, to apply the Adamantium lacing, and then restored. The recent "creepy" video for the Logan movie showed this. Unlike Logan, only X-23's claws are Adamantium, so she could continue to grow.
in the comics the flash ran faster then the speed of instant tho. he ran again the cosmic gambaler witch can teleport. he beat him back to earth and he can run faster then the speed of light do to the fact that he has a frictionless suit. according to all cannon the flash is always going to be faster. trying to apply real life to the impossible doesn't work and comes out with wrong conclusions. he did not take any of the flashes cannon into this episode.
Flash is SPEED FORCE. Not just someone tapping into speedforce. He IS speed. Distance doesn't matter to Flash. Plus, someone who can travel back in time by just running is surely faster than the speed of light. Since time couldn't even catch up.
god damnit i hate everyone saying he can run faster then an instant teleport. At that point you are just making shit up, because if he could run faster the teleport, its not a fucking instant teleport is it? The definition is something happening immediately. He cannot run faster then that because the moment there is a delay, it can no longer be defined as instant. I love the flash but just because your a fanboy doesn't mean you pick and chose what words mean.
Have you considered the Flash isn't actually running that fast but is actually "warping" to allow himself to move faster? Also, since the Flash is faster than time technically he'd always be faster.
RNG_ Lord No he actually does run at those speeds, the whole warping space around him thing is an entirely different ability, but one that is present in the DC universe, namely one of the iterations of Zoom, which is what allows him to keep up with the flash (to some extent), but the flash himself does actually run that fast
I know everyone else has mentioned the Human Race but I have to point out that it is literally the first youtube result for how fast is the flash, I really feel like Kyle just went with a basic knowledge of the Flash instead of doing any actual research
By "basic" do you mean "most realistic"? I honestly don't care what Imaginary Axis or whoever says. Traveling faster than the speed of light isn't possible. Listing off the Flash's powers beyond that is effectively just nerd flash card trivia. To learn anything from these battles, which I think can be valuable to science communication, you need to have some rules and limitations. Or else it's pointless. -- KH
Actually, neutrinos *cannot* travel faster than light. That's been debunked for a while, as the scientists who made this observation have since stated that their equipment malfunctioned.
Consulting comics is almost a waste of time as the writers can be very inconsistent with a person's capabilities making a detailed analysis impossible.
I only just realised he had to write backwards after watching like 30 episodes over a couple months. His handwriting was so neat I didn’t even think about it.
The Flash could only do that if everyone on the Earth ran, and sometimes speed cant slove anything, Barry and every other speedster must limit themselves sometimes, Run too fast all the time and poof, your gone.
Even without physics, that's 6.895216e48 km per second. That would literally destroy the city, country, continent, planet, solar system, and potentially universe if something with mass went that fast.
Speed Force is infinitely faster than the speed of light. Its the fastest thing in existence in all multiverse. With Speed force. The Flash can go back in time and go forward in time. He can travel to multiverse. The Flash is just waaay faster than night crawler because he has the speed force.
The flash is capable of running billions of times faster than the speed of light. He beat a being capable of teleporting across any distance instantly. So...
hes still Way faster than the speed of light tho. he may the a couple houndreds of zeroes away from trans velocity. but he is still a couple of 0 past light speed
A) Not possible, so I had to give him a limit so that we could learn something. (Even LS travel would be impossible for an object with mass.) B) Then it wasn't "instantaneous." -- KH
Flash fanboys: der te flash is faster here is example A. of how he did an impossible feat like BEAT TELEPORTATION ACROSS AN ENTIRE GALAXY (let that sink in what were the writers smoking?) Nightcrawler fanboys: there are none
I'd say it should make sense, if you are going the speed of light then surely time stops for you relative to everyone else. He should be able to do it as many times as he likes before they even started.
Actually beating teleportation just requires a medium understanding of quantum physics I won't go with the long explanation... way too much to write Short explanation, when the flash beats teleportation he crossed the whole universe in less than a plank instant making him omnipresent, the concept of velocity fails to describe him as he actually was in all of the universe at the same time
In DC comics there is a being that takes the place of "God", it's called The Presence, it's eternal, omnipresent and cannot be destroyed (but it's not omnipotent) The Flash only achieved omnipresence for a very brief amount of time
Tempus Dominus sure but that's against a far better teleporter than Night Crawler, it's about reaction time, the moment Kyle said Go! the attosecond kicks in then it's all over bruh, I don't think Night Crawler have that kind of reaction time.
My only problem with this one is, how do we know Nightcrawler doesn't just tear a hole in spacetime to create his wormholes, and appear instantaneously at any distance? Maybe the movies just mispresent his powers.
The Flash (assuming he's running at light speed) vs Goku's (assuming you mean the anime, not the manga) instant transmission would be a tie. Goku's instant transmission and the flash are both moving at the speed of light, in hayden's case it'd be about the same as night crawler, but if you have flash at his top speed, he wins both races with Goku and Hayden considering he can MOVE FASTER than instantaneous movement because physics doesn't exist.
Shadow Space Actually, it seems that Goku can teleport faster than light? (Im not sure) He teleported to the realm of the dead. And the map of the universe and the realm seems to have a gap larger than the universe itself. (Might he false) and also Bulma with her spaceship would be faster from the DB frieza saga since she instantly teleported from Earth to Jupiter just for a test drive
The Comics Club yes he can, but as far as we know now, moving faster than light is impossible. The physics wouldn't add up if he gave the Flash his true power. The Flash had been stated as moving faster than instant teleportation in the comic book The Flash: The Human Race. Again physics wise this is also impossible as everything takes time and there is no speed you could go that would take 0 time. Velocity = Distance divided by time so even in a race that was 5 meters it wouldn't be instant unless you could teleport. 5 divided by 0 is undefinable. I think in this comic book the Flash made it to Earth in something close to 1.0 x 10^-10(add a couple thousand 0's)00 time. So he is going much less than a second of time, but the way he beat the omnipotent being is that the Flash had a reaction time much faster than the being. So the Flash knew the race began before the omnipotent being ever did and that's why he was able to beat him. This is also why I think Night Crawler would never beat the Flash because the flash's reaction time is too fast and he would always get a head start
wait!!!! Wasn't there a comic where flash beat a race of instantaneous teleportaition? and did you not prove that flash runs faster than light in a previous episode?
The flash once saved a town in Korea without his therapist even knowing he left the room and when flash broke his leg he read every book in the New York library in under five minutes
Kyle, The Flash has already outran instantaneous. In the comic Flash The Human Race, The Flash encounters these beings called the Cosmic Gamblers. At the ending of the story The Flash bets the Cosmic Gamblers that he can reach Earth before they can. The Cosmic Gamblers basically laugh at this telling The Flash that they can teleport and it would be impossible to outrun instantaneous. The Flash tells them that it should be easy for them then. Being the gamblers they are they accept. The Flash then tells everyone on Earth to start running and using his ability to syphon the speed of other objects he uses the speed of everyone on Earth to further his speed BEATING the Cosmic Gamblers. Now I'm not sure how nerds calculated this but apparently he would have to be moving at a minimum of 23,759,449,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 x The speed of light. Mind you he traveled across a vast distance (not too sure how far but they were in deep space). So ya, there really is no arguing who's faster because The Flash doesn't just go light speed, he goes way faster.
A) Then it's not instantaneous. B) I just estimated this because of everyone calling me out: the total kinetic energy if everyone on Earth ran at once would be just about the same amount of kinetic energy the orbiting ISS has. It wouldn't break a universe with speed. That kind of energy circles your head every 90 minutes. -- KH
Nerdist oh and PS the comics say he just outran instantaneous. its some other people on the internet that came up with that number. not too sure how they came up with it and how it makes sense but thats what everyone says. so ya. idk just remember that its comics and logic and science dont fully come to play all the time. just know the flash is faster than instantaneous (somehow) lol.
Scott Sisk he could only do that from absorbing the kinetic energy from everyone on earth and his old imaginary Friend gave flash his speed,he cannot run that fast normally
I don't know the math, but since flash can go that fast with help, it would (in my opinion and estimate) be like a human taking steroids and then lifting the empire State building but I have no basis for this
fanboys would always says that their idol would win because comics :3 but here, we are changing it to science. not just based all on what the writer or artist said about a character.
Nerdist What about flash's trans time velocity. You know he broke speed in the comics when he outran "instantaneous travel" by running at the speed of 23 tredicillion times the speed of light. It still applies with the laws of physics as flash isn't technically a human and is merged with the speedforce and denies the laws of physics. As you said in another persons comment while speed isn't there for barry it still flows around him. So when physics doesn't obey with the flash it is still around him.
Nerdist and sorry but i don't agree with the video. It limits the flash's abilities. If you considered the laws of physics on the fastest speed possible and limited barry why didn't you limit nightcrawler and how he can teleport. You said by agreeing with the laws of physics nothing is faster than light. You limited barry to light speed. And then you say nightcrawler will win so are you saying that nightcrawler is faster than light??
that's what i mean in reality would be that nightcrawler teleports to wherehe looks (as faar as i understood how his power works), thats why i mean that his reactions are too slow for flashs movment. not a flash fan boy, but when it comes to science flash is the most op char.. the speed he reaches... he should be abel to destroy superman with one punch. but comic logic is diff than science.
Why aren't Nightcrawler's teleportations super loud? New mini-episode over on my Insta (instagram.com/sci_Phile/). Thanks for watching nerds! -- KH
Nerdist doesn't flash travel faster than the speed of light
Nerdist dude wally west flash runs faster then a teloporting alien
Nerdist you revive my love for science :) thank you so much
Hüseyin Gül Nightcrawler isn't an alien.
Nerdist so my problem with this video is that you're essentially needing the flash by making his ability follow the laws of physics and yet you do not do the same for night crawler
Alright I see where this is going. Here's an FAQ:
*Yes, the Flash has beaten instantaneous teleportation in the comics before.
The flash isn't limited to the laws of our physics, he's got his own
I would say yes, it's still instantaneous, because the Flash moved so fast he approached trans-time velocity, which, if the old comics have their science decent, Flash could be anywhere and everywhere at the same time.
When he assumed The Flash's speed limit to be the speed of light "because physics", I laughed because of how Flash artists explain his physics-breaking feats..."because Speedforce."
but this is "because science" therefore everything has to be within the realm of SCIENCE
Faruel N.A The flash can go faster than the time Barrier which is much greater than the light barrier at a 10x670616629 mph
I didn't know teleportation was in the realm of Science
Speedforce= writers couldn't come up with something better to explain everything about the Flash
wormhole theory? is it correct? probably not but it has not been disproved yet lol
Didn't flash beat instant teleportation in some story line?
OlympicFilms Yes
OlympicFilms If that were the case then it wouldn't be instant teleportation
He did!! Wasn't it like... across planets too?
Hara Suparyanto not really he beat them because he got there before they would have reconstructed themselves on the other side. But also consider it was never explained how the teleported
Exactly. -- KH
Nightcrawler can teleport as far as he can see or if he's been there befor
loki *Looks at mars in the night*
loki that was only in apocalypse and when he first learned to teleport. In his prime, so was able to teleport anywhere as long as he could picture it in his mind
loki false
And the flash can stop time and go back in time
@@alexlanter9928 lol you need to know what specific coordinates or location in mars you can't just look at the moon and teleport and if you can your probably gonna teleport Infront of the moon not in the surface of the moon
Of course, there was that one time the Flash ran across the entire universe, and still beat instant teleportation... (very impossible, but still...).
Tharanak I mean.. everything in the 'super-hero universe' is impossible.. but.. sure..
Tharanak I came to the comments section to say specifically that
Same.
Yeah, but Flash had to 'borrow' speed from like, everyone in the universe (If I remember right) to pull that off.
"Yeah your car is faster than mine, but you also had to change the engine that came with the car with a different one"
winning is winning
Then again if they wait till some type of "Go!" the flash would immediately start running at the speed of light the literal second he sees it while Kurt has to make the decision to teleport in the first place while Flash is already moving at lightspeed. He would make it there and back many times before Nightcrawler actually initiates his teleportation
Simply Beast dosnt the flash also have to make the decision to start running? And wouldn't the thought of teleporting be faster to think about running then running?
The flash can think at the same speed he can run, so he can make the decision to run waaaaaay faster than Kurt can make the decision to teleport
So if The Flash accelerates too quickly and his clothes rip off in public, does he become...The Flash?

If only
Time is so fleeting.
Underrated lol
gagejoseph91 dude he has a fucking badass ring which stores his ever so perfect outfit.
You need to factor in Flashs reaction time. Nightcrawler has to think of a location, while the flash is already running the very plank-second the race starts because of how Flash perceives time.
If they're in a race.. Probablynight crawler knows where the finish line before the race starts
"Let's say flash is as fast as light"
(quits watching)
Seriously, why do DC character breakdowns always nerf the shit out of them?
The flash outran the gravity a blackhole (light can't)
The flash can run so fast he literally rips through time and reality.
The speed force allows him to go far beyond light speed.
He can think in less than attoseconds. The flash is unfathomably fast. Teleportation is null at this point.
Jack Napier
Because those numbers are basically incalculable, which is useless for a math based show? Duh?
It's god modding to use a character's canon abilities when discussing their (you guessed it) canon abilities? Okay.
Wasn't it he could perceive things that happen in a picosecond. I maybe be getting that confused with attoseconds and I'm not sure which one is faster. Please feel free to correct me
see I would agree with you but didn't the flash beat someone using instant teleportation across the Galaxy. gear fourth going faster than the shortest amount of time measurable which is a plank second if I am not mistaken
in other words the Flash is speed
Flash is the fastest if you consider short distances.. but teleportation ultimately trumps everything.
If you won't take the speed force in account when you try and explain him then don't try it in the first place, if you take the speed force out of him he is simply no longer the Flash.
it is actually called a Plank Instant. but you were quite close
I'll show you the calculations if you want, done by Aweseomemeccry as proof:
Remember that time when Flash "outran" the teleporter in the comic "the human race"? Welp, I finally have it within my power to end this debate.
Prepare yourself:
So, during this comic, flash challenges a teleporter to a race; first one who can make it to Earth wins.
Now, let's science:
Wally vs cosmic gamblers.
Now for some math:
Earth-Moon distance = 384,000 km.
Finally, estimating the total average speed of the race against the Cosmic Gamblers, they started on the other side of the universe:
And reached Earth before the gambler had time to process a thought. Using 0.0083333333 seconds, and the diameter of the universe at 93 billion light-years, the average speed would be 3.519417614e20c.
So for short, Flash with the power of THE HUMANS managed to run at:
23,759,448,520,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000x
the speed of light.
I say no
N7titan Did you know there was a comic of the flash going faster than instant teleportation?
N7titan You are basically saying that nightcrawler's brain cells process faster than light? Also flash is faster than light itself.
Lmao so the flash is a fucking cheater!? XD
Ohhhh, so the “other dimension’s time being slower than our world” makes so much more sense now, as to why it’s instantaneous
I thought that nightcrawler could teleport to anywhere he has been.. or seen
Still not fast enough
Justinhulk If he had seen something across the universe and teleported there at the same
0.002 seconds. The flash wouldn't be able to make it in time.
Who cares who is faster? I want to know how you write backwards with both hands simultaneously! Because science? Or sorcery?

Mirrored. Because... common sense.
KJRWARWET 123
Because ambidextrous and mirrored video.
Correct answer is - mirrored. Because... Kyle admited it himself.
Good info there, is it canon though?
TinchoX I'm working on finding proof, but I'm fairly certain it is. It's the reason why there's the sent of brimstone every time he teleports. The canonicity changes throughout the years however so it's hard to find definitive proof.
TinchoX I can't provide proof that that's true but it's the explanation for nightcrawlers powers that my friend told me as well
+Peter Townsend You shouldn't have had to look far for proof.
He had help in order to do that though.
But what says that he wouldn't have help in the race?
With Flash's ability to time travel he could technically arrive before he left the starting line.
hard to beat that.
Lol
Not really coz it would cause a paradox
I know this is going to be commented 50 million times, but the Flash once ran faster than instant teleportation.
Tyrique Smith u idiot no object with mass can travel at light speed flash cant travel thet fast actually because thats comic stupid science
parag basu And yet teleportation is okay. Seems reasonable
parag basu By the way that was sarcasm. I know you might not have understood it because you were dumb enough to comment what you did, so yea. Clarification.
Tyrique Smith yes but he had to increase the speed force, a lot
titlo3 True, but these matches are usually about Full potential so I was just throwing it out there.
John J
He did that with the help of the Justice League and the entire population of earth lending him their kinetic energy. The only reason he won was "Because Speedforce".
None of that makes sense and we learn nothing. I want to get something out of these questions, you know? Other comic channels will just list off powers and make a conclusion. I don't think we actually learn anything from that. -- KH
Nerdist
The flash can teleport.
All he would have to do is Run through time and arrive at the finish line 1 attoseccond after he left the start.
Almost any race :)
Gregory Bożyk and nightcrawler can only teleport to places remembers/been to
hellen Keller is bae it's sees and has been to
How can nightcrawler ever win when the Flase has won a race argents beings the can show up instentaniesli and they ditten even start on eath but endet here.
Indeed, sprinted from the edge of the universe to earth in a Planck instant, the shortest measurable span of time.
Thats the most idiotic shit i have ever heard , even in comics
Edit: i mean , why is there still crime in dc's world if thats the case , why are there other superheroes?? They arent needed
He needed the help of everyone on the planet to run so he could do that, not everyone will do that when the Flash has run somewhere.
@@Stuartw100 what???
Man , all im saying is that that power is way to op for not having any drawback ( as far as im aware ) .
Sure , comics are a place where litteraly anything can happen , but if theres a story , you have to pay atention to it...
@@Stuartw100 well then in that case , my bad...
But still , its a little "to much" for me
Because the flash can run back in time, doesn't that mean he could reach the end in a negative amount of seconds? (before he even left?)
Light takes time to travel, buddy.
Sergio Loza why?
Using the same assumptions, the flash would be able to travel back in time (at light speed) and finish the race even before it starts
He could punch you yesterday. -- KH
DontLoseToDoubt TM what if the race is 651 km? The flash wins
Not really, I've never seen a race where the rules include not being allowed to go back in time
I don't really care who wins, I just would want them to be able to use all their abilties. to see who would actually win.
Everyone is applying the wrong numbers to unimportant things.
cezgamer Reaction times matter because that's part of the Flash's speed.
Yeah, flash reacts faster then the nc, but again, at that point you are measuring different things because what matters in that situation, how fast they move or how fast they can think to move?
cezgamer We are comparing how fast they are in a race. Reaction times are part of races.
Go fuck yourself.

This comment section is cancer along with Flash's amount of speed. He breaks all kinds of laws that we know of, and then the writers just use the speed force to save their asses all the time. I almost feel like Superman is less overpowered than the Flash sometimes.
Survivor Soul how does that make the comment section cancer? You may think it’s shitty writing but facts are still facts whether you like them or not
Survivor Soul That's because superman is less overpowered
Well, that's probably because Superman is less overpowered than the Flash. They have to nerf or just ignore the implications of Flash's abilities on a way more constant basis than Superman's to keep stories interesting.
The Flash can destroy anything easily. And travel through time, create black holes, stop time, etc.
And thats just in fiction. He would be even stronger in real life.
Overpowered in lazy writing, fans be like: Because speed force!
Speed force is kinda like boring.
flash out ran a teleport... sure everyone on earth was running, but that is his top speed the span of the universe in less then a nano second
Actually it was much less then a nano second, it was so fast that its been called Trans-time, its impossible to measure.
... Sure, okay, Supreme Kai teleported Goku, Beerus and others to the realm of Zeno, beyond the universes in an instant. So there ya go, he's faster than Flash, without any aid too!

flash beat instant in a race across the universe soooo nuff said
True but he had to borrow speed from other people if memory serves me right
joe mama your memory is not wrong but the kinetic energy he stole was put into the speed force me .every step a speedster takes with it increases his or her speed because it increases the energy added to the speed force. so even though some KE was given back, he still gained a tremendous amount of speed due to every footstep he took in that race
Barry is the only one who actually generates energy for the speed force yes.
Josh Rozario yea butbwally is fastest cause he has trouble not going speed of light
Then it wasn't instantaneous. -- KH
"Instantaneous movement is instantaneous"- Toryama Akira
And flash moves beyond that. Yeah... It's comic book logic. Just like it's impossible to move faster than light (yet characters do it), it's certainly not beyond flash to move faster than instantaneous teleportation (both scenarios don't make sense in our world but in the comic book world they have something called the speedforce).
Last time I checked he didn't write for either marvel or DC.

Actually the flash has already beat teleportation
not just teleportation... instant teleportation across the universe ;)
But he did it
Sorry Flash wins Wally has beaten a teleporter before.
Not with his own speed, he stole kinetic energy to boost himself so Flash: The Human Race storyline can't be used to prove anything.
DefactoOverlord while that may be true, the Wally west flash has also time traveled before so really he just has to time travel to before he wins the race and get there first. The flash is faster than instant teleportation. No question.
All the Flash's can time travel. However, that's because the Speedforce opens up portals into the past/future which they travel through in order to get there.
well Barry made a bet with these cosmic gamblers that he can travel back to earth before they can teleport and won
Grodd Frokensteen yeah I remember that because he siphoned all the kinetic energy from ppl on earth running or something right
Well sticking to the laws of physics i feel like the Flash shouldn't be able to run at light speed and Nightcrawler shouldn't be able to teleport, so don't stick to the laws of physics, also which Flash is racing because Wally is faster than Barry and the Flash also ran a distance further than our solar system in the smallest measurable amount of time known to human kind, but he was even faster basically teleporting, just faster
Btw you also said that the Flash gets to light speed instantly soooo... the Flash shouldn't have to gain the speed up his line should be like Night Crawlers or if anything Night Crawlers line should curve up
Abssurd laws of physics do not apply to the speedforce
Abssurd which Wally? black one or white one? I've been hearing this around a lot lately and it's getting me annoyed because I know damn well that Barry has been the fastest for the longest time ever and I don't know too much about Wally west and definitely don't know much about the black Wally west so I'm kind of confused here is this after flashpoint new 52 or what? Please explain lol
He also wouldn't tear them apart because he controls the speed force wich let's him sorta control reality

R&B gaming actually no Wally can manipulate the speed force more and is the fastest speed on average but Bart Allen has gone the fastest when he once absorbed all of the speed force and
we're talking about the comics, not the tv show... there's still the reverse flash
You all need to chill. No where in his comment does he imply that CW Flash is canon or to be used as a basis for any argument
The Flash could run into the past and get lunch, meet up with friends, fight crime, and be at the destination before Nightcrawler even started teleporting.
Barry Allen has won a race over a teleorting alien in comics, they raced from a spaceship to earth, and the alien said he teleport instently

That's what all these comments are looking like, yeah. -- KH
Flash does have an extreme amount of fans that assume Flash can and will do anything if they say it hard enough
Flash once out ran teleportation across the universe
But gaining everyone on earths kinetc energy
Javier Hopman that's probably not discussed here because it's entirely physically impossible due to universal speed limit "c"
Lord Of the Edge
Speedforce.
The flash creates what is basically a warp bubble around him.
Jav Hop ya but if night crawler can only teleport 650,000 meters and at 300,000 he beats flash at light speed flash would just have to go over light speed and hes done that millions of times, hes ran much faster then 1000x the speed of light
Jav Hop I saw that vid to lol
Flash was able to beat instantaneous teleportation from the edge of the universe to earth so flash is faster
not being a butthurt fan-boy just stating facts from a comic book
Alright, now take the next step: how? That's all I did, just with different assumptions. -- KH
"facts from a comic book" lmao
btw, congratz on the whole myth busters thing.
But flash has beat instantaneous teleportation tho
WumbosWays yah a race to earth
he required everyone on Earth to do something anything as fast as they can. that was to generate speed in the speed force so that the flash can use all the speed he can from it to beat that instantaneous teleportation.
Well yes there are specific conditions, but nightcrawler would possibly die teleporting that far, so he is under a special condition aswell, and if the distance is further than 650 he'd die so any race longer than that the flash would win, so he's still the fastest except for a very small window of length
Daniel Gomez yes, but I think someone told me that he can run 13 tredicillion times faster than light. Without anyone helping.
I think its trillion because I heard 13 trillion in a multitude of debates.
The imaginary axis determined the flashes top speed using comics and math... to this I refer you to "how fast is the flash" nerdist
Kevin Prasad the imaginary axis is awesome! !! frankly speaking i like that channel more than this
That one is a better channel.
then why are you on this channel... go watch and enjoy the imaginary axis... in the mean time i will watch and enjoy both
Applying math doesn't mean "science".
True... firstly i think you forget that superhero stories are fiction...
so that means the writer of the story makes up the world and the inner
workings of that world... which means that they make up the laws of
physics also... or they can say that the classical laws of physics
apply... but that a plot device (i.e. the speed force in this case)
allows the hero to break the classical laws of physics... secondly...
the guy from imaginary axis is actually using mathematics and the story
to figure out certain things within the subject... whatever the subject
is... in this case since he is using comics... and what the writer
said... he can say that the flash can travel at speeds of trans-time
when he wants to... and the speed force allows the flash to do this
without breaking the classical laws of physics using the speed force...
although there are instances where he uses the speed force to break the
classical laws of physics... again plot device... thirdly... although
you are correct that nothing can travel faster than light... we still
know very little about the universe right now... for many years we used
to say that nothing can break the speed of sound... nowadays we have
broken that barrier so many times its not even funny... so even though
Einstein's laws of physics says that nothing travels faster than the
speed of light... what i think you forget is that many of the things
that he said was a guess... many of the things that he said were only
confirmed after he died... many of the scientist today are constrained
within the theory of relativity that they do not think outside the
box... fourthly... what kyle doesn't take into account is nightcrawlers
actual speed... which cannot be extrapolated because it is said that
nightcrawler really teleports to hell... then teleports to any place he
thinks of within a certain radius... since we do not really know the
distance between earth and hell... and the actual time it takes for him
to teleport... one cannot truly extrapolate his speed
If the *Flash* is faster than *Quicksilver* and *Quicksilver* is faster than *Nightcrawler.* That might answer your answer...
Killer Mode28 flash is not faster than quiksilver
zeusboltes gaming I know but some people think he is...

I've never gotten an answer for an answer before, thanks kind sir
Killer Mode28 yeah
yes Quicksilver is faster
But Flash is way faster than the speed of light?
I know it's been established, but going FTL is even less likely to me than traveling through sulfurous Hell dimensions. -- KH
No, he runs close to the speed of light. The only time he is known to break the light barrier is when he travels through time/parallel universes.
That was kinda cheating though because he had the speed force of everyone in the world siphoning into him.
Blackout except cern has a particle accelerator that achieved speed of light and no such observations where made....
True, but Night crawler used a last ditch effort that almost killed him.
Isn't the flash faster than instant teleportation?
In the comics...yes...if we want to bring him into reality...No.
well, he cant be faster than light
@@Jane-qh2yd he is
@@FellPanda Hes also delusional
Me Troll If you say “He can’t be faster than light” you’re literally taking away the point of comics being alternative realities.
I guess we all just forget the fact that flash went faster than a plank instant against the teleporting gods.
did you not watch the video? he assumed he ran at light speed because " Science" or did you miss that?
Alex Di there are things that go faster than light you moron
Hahahahahahah... Oh, shiny.
ShinyNumber1 and flash can go back in time so he could be there the second the race starts
ShinyNumber1 well timetravelling takes time.
Could 'Dragon Ball Capsules' work in real life, what would be the science behind it?
Dream Chaser Maybe, the space between the atoms can be reduced, but the weight remains the same, meaning that the surface area of the object can be reduced but not it's weight , that's what I assume
Dream Chaser Ant man tech
Omar Smith Pretty much, but the objects in the movie had a light weight, like the tank. I know it's a movie plot hole but still love that Movie
You're forgetting relativistic effects and time-dilation. Flash still wins. Always. He outran the concept of death, for crying out loud.
That's not how relativity works. Time slows down for him, not for other people. If a space ship traveled near light speed towards Alpha Centauri, we back on Earth wouldn't be standing still. -- KH
is this when he was the god of death or a different time?
jon dw he seemingly died during Crisis on Infinite Earths and 23 years later they revealed, he spent this time outrunning death so far into the future that death stopped being a concept. pretty impressive.
The flash runs at the speed of lazy writing
bdum tss
More like different writers, thus different interpretations. Though even by kne writer his speed is inconsistent.
Yeah, speed force is trash, fans depends on the speed force argument when the flash is being compared to there like saitama, goku, superman, and quicksilver.
You know who has the most lazy writing is superman. Has all the powers and still gets owned by a green rock 😂
Not lazy writing dumbass, great writing.
since you had night crawler at his most powerful you have to get flash as his.....Read the flash the human race
Bryant Kenyon but that wasn't his speed. He was siphoning kinetic energy from other sources.
The Brennan thanks shout out huge fan super dope keep up and heumy so what would happen to walking dead zombies in winter in say like alpena or houghton michigan?
+The Brennan even without siphoning kinetic energy he can run milions's time's faster than light so :P
flash can run at 10 time the speed of light easy. he used earths energy to move past trans velocity.
wich isnt even close to light speed by a couple of houndreds of 0 soooo yeah flash wins
+The Brennan
Barry saved a city's populace from a nuclear explosion.
So like a thumbprint placeholder if he's been to a certain favorite Udon Noodles place in Tokyo and he's in NYC he can travel there, it might be a lil more strenuous because of the distance/time spent in that brimstone dimension until he arrives in Tokyo but still way farther than 3km distance if he wants to
im sure you're thinking about the movie "jumper" and not Nightcrawler xD
Wrong, Jumper can go anywhere that he wishes by pictures even but Night Crawler said in one of the movies that he can't teleport to places he hasnt seen
Movies aren't canon
Nick Mattio so then couldn't he teleport to the moon if it was at night?
+Nick Mattio Wrong, he can teleport anywhere he'd just rather not get stuck in a wall and die.
What if he time traveled to the exact time before nightcrawler reach the finish line?
Alizandro Luis S. Tanael thats a different questions
This isn't Vs the flash, this video is nightcrawler Vs light. This dude has no idea how fast the flash is.
If you run a 100m dash against a 747 then you'll win running
didn't flash run from the edge of the universe to earth in under a planck second?
pocholo how did you measure?
+Moumita Srimany its on a dc comic book called Flash the human race
pocholo Yea and he beat Instant teleportation.
yes, the is the first episode where i disagree with because science. They completely ignored flash comics but not nightcrawler comics
anybody please tell me which kind of machinery you have to measure this?
Why even try and use physics to explain characters like the Flash when they break every law of physics?
Exactly!
because science
because its fun. DF.
Because the speed force allows him to break the laws of physics. If they were applying to him, he would fuse with the atoms in the air and essentially be unstable due to fission and explode but then the speedforce has no out valve to release its energy and it would build up and mess with the timestream. So it allows him to survive so that he can utilize its energy and relieve the cosmic build up
They don't break the laws of physics, they bend 'em.
flash can beat him with 3% of the speed force LOL
bit of a stretch, but still acceptable xp
Javaughn Henry he could also travel back in time and finish the race before he started it
Javaughn Henry I know
MrSpanners no he can't if he did that they time wraiths will track him down until he is dead or he can just beat them (extremely hard)
-- KH
He can beat him with ease. I won'y put much thought into this, but he can travel through time, thus hitting the finish line while eating pizza.
Kurt might be faster in certain conditions, but he won't make it to the finish line
he cleared an island full of people in 1 atto second to save them from a bomb
I calculated this once too. Stupid fast. And those people would be dead. -- KH
Speedforce :P
Nerdist ha that's great!
Nerdist but don't they have the speed force protecting them?
But the flash can time travel, so he would win any race.
Logan Smith nightcrawler can time travel,he literally opens a breach in Space when he jumps
Sean Collins
He goes to the past/future several years apart?
About Flash being faster than Quicksilver and Nightcrawler:
The flash is faster than quicksilver.
Cincó but...but.. in an attosecond light travels from one end of a molecule to another! How can he even recieve the light emitted by his surroundings?
Cheeky Cheeto Flash is Daredevil! Wait... It‘s the same with sound...
But still not as fast as the Heart of Gold from Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy
This comment is just copy and paste from others. Lmao. But I do agree with most of these points
Flash once beat insta-teleportation
Étienne Madore it wasn't his own speed, it required everyone on earth to run as fast as the can
hopefully someone will correct me on this this, but didnt the flash beat a big bad guy that could teleport from outer space somewhere because of a build up of kinetic energy having everyone on earth run on the spot or this purely without outside help?
Haha that's nuts. -- KH
Yes. In the comic Flash:The Human Race. From what I understood, Wally West Flash runs to Earth faster than Planck Instant, essentially negating time itself.
He did...but it was calculated (By the Imaginary Axis) that he was traveling trillions of times the speed of light which would've gone against his assumption cause physics.
heh wut -- KH
Matt Crane-Watts, that moment when you realise you are probably the only person in your class that would have followed that conversation, at least with such ease... I feel let down by my fellow 13/14 year olds. Please tell me there are more hopeless nerds out there... anyone?
Flash can run faster than teleportation!
Keyword: "can"...
Well,it could also be made a question of terrain. Like putting an infinite gap between start- and finish line could give (depending on the width of that gap) Flash a very hard time.
But flash beat the cosmic gamblers He ran faster than instintanios time to beat them from teleporting there first
Raiden Tube they said they were using the regular light speed flash because of physics, so they aren't using anything related in the comics using comicbook logic. Otherwise flash would win with the boundless amount of unscientific powers the comics have granted him.
Exactly. To answer this question at all, or at least say something interesting, you have to limit the Flash's powers, because he makes no sense. -- KH
Neither does Nightcrawler. He literally teleports... He can break causality with that ability, how is that any different than Flash going FTL?
lets put this in simple terms and question which breaks reality more a not really good explanation of a fast person moving faster then speed of light or someone that simply moves through something that is actually has a slight touch in reality aka wormholes.
ehhh, but still we low-key know the answer, flash wins but I guess that makes sense
Flash traveled faster than teleportation only with the speed of an entire planet.
Jack Parkson
It is part of his abilities is it not? Like super man getting his powers from the sun.
Cryptic It is and it isn't. If put in the same scenario again but without the speed from all those people, then I'm not sure if he can beat instant teleportation again.
Jack Parkson
Sure, but he doesn't necessarily have to have "instant" teleportation either, with Flashes other abilities of perceiving events in less than a attosecond he had the capability of going to point A to point B before it even fully registers in Night Crawlers mind, and he is able to steal his kinetic energy as well
Cryptic Well he doesn't have kinetic energy while he teleports.
Cryptic Also, Flash and all of the other speedsters (except for Eobard Thawne who gets his from the opposite speed force) get their speed from the speed force. When he absorbed those people's speed it was an imense boost to his power but his regular power source is the speed force.
Can you tell how X-23 can grow with adamantium claws in her body and are her claws able to grow too? Logan is coming
Unlike Logan, only X-23's claws are Adamantium, so she could continue to grow.
thatHARVguy ok but her claws are gonna stay "small" they won't become bigger, Like wolverine
She will grow, her claws won't. They'll remain the same size.
Sheol_IK ok because if i don't make any mistake in the comics when she's older her claws are bigger that's why i asked it
Flash is so fast, he can arrive before he left.
in the comics the flash ran faster then the speed of instant tho. he ran again the cosmic gambaler witch can teleport. he beat him back to earth and he can run faster then the speed of light do to the fact that he has a frictionless suit. according to all cannon the flash is always going to be faster. trying to apply real life to the impossible doesn't work and comes out with wrong conclusions. he did not take any of the flashes cannon into this episode.
Connor Kearns it wasn't his own speed, it required everyone on earth to run as fast as the can
Mohamed Ahmed even so the flash can move several billions time the the speed of light without their help
I love the flash but just because your a fanboy doesn't mean you pick and chose what words mean.
say that to the writers
Have you considered the Flash isn't actually running that fast but is actually "warping" to allow himself to move faster?
Also, since the Flash is faster than time technically he'd always be faster.
RNG_ Lord not really of u think about it
RNG_ Lord
That’s Zoom.
-- KH
Nerdist
Neutrinos travel faster than the speed of light and if you can't travel faster than light then just put flash at 99% of the speed of light.
Actually, neutrinos *cannot* travel faster than light. That's been debunked for a while, as the scientists who made this observation have since stated that their equipment malfunctioned.
Nerdist And a human like devil thing that can teleport is also impossible, so you are WRONG, JUST GIVE UP
Consulting comics is almost a waste of time as the writers can be very inconsistent with a person's capabilities making a detailed analysis impossible.
I only just realised he had to write backwards after watching like 30 episodes over a couple months. His handwriting was so neat I didn’t even think about it.
But.... didn't the flash beat gods who could teleport instantaneously in a race across the universe once?
Money
The Flash could only do that if everyone on the Earth ran, and sometimes speed cant slove anything, Barry and every other speedster must limit themselves sometimes, Run too fast all the time and poof, your gone.
the comics have flash able to move around 10x lightspeed
Physics be damned
I better be a Mod
Never stated, comics physics=/=real physics
Even without physics, that's 6.895216e48 km per second.
That would literally destroy the city, country, continent, planet, solar system, and potentially universe if something with mass went that fast.
Baskerville
Except... guess what inhibits that from happening according to the comics?
Jedi speed magic
Speed Force is infinitely faster than the speed of light. Its the fastest thing in existence in all multiverse. With Speed force. The Flash can go back in time and go forward in time. He can travel to multiverse. The Flash is just waaay faster than night crawler because he has the speed force.
I love how Flash's running speed has to be limited to the speed of light because science yet Nightcrawler's teleportation is not limited by anything.
as stupid as this video is, you're technically wrong. he limited nightcrawler's teleportation from being instantaneous to taking 0.001 seconds.
The flash is capable of running billions of times faster than the speed of light. He beat a being capable of teleporting across any distance instantly. So...
Hipojak he siphoned energy. That's the only reason he won
hes still Way faster than the speed of light tho. he may the a couple houndreds of zeroes away from trans velocity. but he is still a couple of 0 past light speed
If we're giving NC burst speed we should be giving it to Flash too
A) Not possible, so I had to give him a limit so that we could learn something. (Even LS travel would be impossible for an object with mass.)
B) Then it wasn't "instantaneous." -- KH
so nerf flash and buff NC for the sake of learning. i can behind that.
still those were some Great bias
Flash fanboys: der te flash is faster here is example A. of how he did an impossible feat like BEAT TELEPORTATION ACROSS AN ENTIRE GALAXY (let that sink in what were the writers smoking?)
Nightcrawler fanboys: there are none
I'd say it should make sense, if you are going the speed of light then surely time stops for you relative to everyone else. He should be able to do it as many times as he likes before they even started.
Actually beating teleportation just requires a medium understanding of quantum physics
I won't go with the long explanation... way too much to write
Short explanation, when the flash beats teleportation he crossed the whole universe in less than a plank instant making him omnipresent, the concept of velocity fails to describe him as he actually was in all of the universe at the same time
pablo fuentes so he's god?
james d hey, Nightcrawler still holds a place in my favorite mutants, although is still prefer Gambit
In DC comics there is a being that takes the place of "God", it's called The Presence, it's eternal, omnipresent and cannot be destroyed (but it's not omnipotent)
The Flash only achieved omnipresence for a very brief amount of time
Wally west beat instant teleportation so...
ROGER Sawyers by harnessing the power of all the people moving on the planet, which isn't happening in this case.
Tempus Dominus sure but that's against a far better teleporter than Night Crawler, it's about reaction time, the moment Kyle said Go! the attosecond kicks in then it's all over bruh, I don't think Night Crawler have that kind of reaction time.
ROGER Sawyers physics physics my guy, this comparison is limited to the speed of light
My only problem with this one is, how do we know Nightcrawler doesn't just tear a hole in spacetime to create his wormholes, and appear instantaneously at any distance? Maybe the movies just mispresent his powers.
650 there 650 back

nightcrawler dies and never finishes
What about the Flash Vs Azazel or Hayden Christensen from Jumper
Or The Flash Vs Goku instant transmission
Raymond Frentz flash win🤓🤓🤓🤓
flash is faster than teleportation #varientcomics
#Comicstorian
If the Flash is capable of stopping time with his speed then night crawler could never activate his teleport
Great video. But as a Flash Fanboy, I reject this entirely.
Haha at least you're honest -- KH
Nerdist fuck u the flash can go faster than light
The Comics Club Woah we're all friends here, dude.
JJantson if your going to use that it's not possible argument then neither is teleporting 650 km
The flash has moved at trans-time velocity
But that's not a thing. See why I did what I did? -- KH
Nerdist But traveling at the speed of light with mass also isn't a thing. And neither is instant teleportation. So no, don't see why you did that.
MK Exactly
Well, the Justice League were part of the people giving their kinetic energy so that might throw your estimation off a bit.
MK how would he run in space? Your comments is stupid
I'm sure you've seen this already but the flash has beaten instantaneous teleportation and assuming the math is correct 365000000000000000000×c^2
Scott Sisk oh
Scott Sisk yes but he only did that with the combined kinetic force of every human on Earth. He needed help to do that.
Scott Sisk he could only do that from absorbing the kinetic energy from everyone on earth and his old imaginary Friend gave flash his speed,he cannot run that fast normally
He was amped.
I don't know the math, but since flash can go that fast with help, it would (in my opinion and estimate) be like a human taking steroids and then lifting the empire State building but I have no basis for this
well flash basiclly stops time when moving so.. i guess night crawlers reaction will be to slow.
For him alone. What you're referring to is not how relativity works. -- KH
fanboys would always says that their idol would win because comics :3
but here, we are changing it to science. not just based all on what the writer or artist said about a character.
Surprised he didn’t use the comic strip where he evacuated an island from a nuclear in less than a second
