Thanks everyone for checking out my channel. I know I made a mistake and said number 1 instead of 5 lol! P.S. to all my viewers I am testing out different video release times that is reason for the later time slot.
I know this is for balls and monitors but I breed Rosy Boas and Bullsnakes on top of my ball pythons so the newborn babies actually are very useful to my smaller species of snakes! Haha they are perfect at a couple days to a week old for the baby Rosy’s and Bulls.
I just picked some up last weekend! It was super hard to find. I got 2 juvenile females and a male. I have them in a glass tank. What is the temp they need?
They like it warmer, mine breed better around 77 - 80 degrees. I keep mine in my reptile room, because they don't smell and the love the warmer temperatures.
I feed 85% ASFs to all my snakes (ball pythons, corn snakes, king snakes and baby/juvenile boas) but had to substitute with store bought frozen mice and rats a few times when my asf colonies weren't producing fast enough as I got more snakes. It was never a problem, even though their enthusiasm is a bit higher for the asfs. All of my snakes still took normal mice and rats when that was all they were offered.
I'm in washington state and am picking up my first trio tomorrow. 😬 I mostly am getting into them to raw feed my cats whole prey. But I do have a bp that will benefit from me having them as well.
Soft furs are great. I love the way they pick a corner for peeing and what not, so much easier to clean.

Thanks so much for this information. I’m looking into breeding ASFs and it’s great to know both sides of the issue. Take care. 😎🤙🏼🐍

thanks for the info. another thing is they are illegal to transport across state lines because they're on the Lacey Act.
How big will a colony grow to how much room you need to have for a big colony
I use a rack system. I keep 6-10 in each tub.
what age asf ready to be fed to ball python?
So much less smell too. They’re fncking a$$holes, but they’re great for balls. Would not keep as pets, but good food source.
Move to TEXAS!
