The videos from Norman and the entire team are the ones i enjoy the most. They are so good i can use them for people who never heard of lean and the easily understand the bottom line.
I really appreciate your effort to show us everything

Thank you for the comment. We have learned just about everything about implementing a lean culture from other companies that were gracious and generous enough to share their journey openly. This channel aims to share what we have learned so other companies can experience the same transformational benefits.

I found your channel earlier today and have now binge watched most of your videos 😊. As a factory manager in Shenzhen it is very inspiring to see a fellow Chinese SME that have done LEAN implementation. I will definitely use you as a good example for us to try to follow and I think it will be easier for my Chinese colleagues to get inspired when they see that it is not just overseas factories that can do this

Hi Thomas, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so glad you found the channel; it means a lot coming from someone with your experience. Since we are not far from each other, you should visit our plant when you have time. We’d be glad to give you or some of your key leaders a tour and show you how we have tried to build a continuous improvement culture. I’ll reach out on LinkedIn to see if we can plan something.

I think my favourite improvement was the last... the measurements. But it did seem like a waste of time to write them down then key them in somewhere. Nevertheless... amazing stuff Norm. You're videos are always so fantastic. Thank you for the effort you and your team put in. They are inspirational!

Thanks for the feedback, Ryan. I agree with you. Writing data and then integrating it into a system is a terrible waste. We’ve simplified that last process, but there is still room to take it further. We’re experimenting with a promising version that works on our phones, but there are still bugs to work out before we make the switch. It’s a great reminder that improvements keep stacking, one on the other!

This is so impressive. Most Fortune 500 pays millions of dollars and yet very few manage to make the return from what they paid to LEAN consultants.

Thank you for the kind words. We focused on lean education and empowering our employees to drive continuous improvement. While it's tempting to outsource to consultants, we've seen tremendous results through persistence and support from fellow lean practitioners.

Question: if breakfast, lunch and dinner are had by all, what hours do people work?
