I always pick a “first day of school” dress and my daughter loves it! She gets so excited for her new dress and to take those first day pictures! I also do a special breakfast and I take her out to lunch after our first day! Then we go swimming because it’s still so hot!!!!
I also am a full time working 9-5 remotely homeschool mom. I need alllll of your tips. Last year was our first year and it was well…. It just was.. lol! How do you fit it all in!? Would also love to know your stance on screen time during the school day and/or how your kids stay entertained while you are working and not able to entertain them. I feel like that was our biggest struggle last year. 😅
Back to school themes are not crazy! It is a wonderful idea and I do it too. I do a first day of school surprise with surprising meals and treats.

I’m working on all of this as well. We officially started last week but it was a soft start. We will be in FULL swing by Monday of next week
