As a former adopted 'dog from a rescue' owner (my angel passed away from old age in 2021 peacefully), I am so so happy that you made a video about the importance of adopting dogs, not shopping for them. Adopting is really the best decision and its so rewarding. And the bond you get by basically saving an animal and giving them a second chance is incredible. As an "Animal Lover " I can relate to this, I'd do anything for dogs to have a new life, I hate seeing dogs suffer :( But sadly some people don't care about dogs and animals at all, but what they don't know is that dogs are our best friends, they love us unconditionally. Absolutely loved the message. My dad always tells me that dogs are the most loyal pet we could ever have and as you said, love us unconditionally so they do deserve the love from us. Especially for those who live lonely lives they act as a best friend and also a part of a family. I can't even begin to say how much this video meant to me. I hate hate hate hate hate it when people mistreat any animal, especially dogs. I just recently lost my beloved Danni (dog) and she died from cancer. I miss her and I could never imagine someone treating her poorly. I love her deeply. R.I.P Danni. Agreed. In fact, I didn’t even want a stranger’s cat to end up at a shelter after I helped rescue her from a ledge she was trapped on. So I took her home and looked for the owner. By the time I found the owner she had replaced her and offered her to me when I said I loved her. I’ve had her for 4 years now.
As an experienced dog owner/trainer, I can easily say that everything that happened to Max was wrong. Dogs have their own feelings, and you have to treat them as another living being instead of a tool. I also adopted my dog. :)

I lost my angel Duncan a little while ago. he passed on from bone cancer in his leg. then at the beginning 2019 I got my new baby boy. he is my little angel and I treat him like he is my own human baby! we got him from a breeder in tenisee he is a mini Golden retriever cocker spaniel mix. nobody wanted him until we saw him, then a family was about to sign and get him when we came in and got him. he is my angel and the best thing that has ever happened to me!

It would seem to me that other organizations could be contacted and some of the dogs go there instead of having to be put down or have foster parents to house the dogs until they are adopted.
I work at an animal shelter and the entire staff there agrees that every animal deserves a good home, regardless of their age and how long they've been there. The only time we would put down an animal is if there was no way to help them with any health conditions or injuries that they have when they are first brought in. We did have a dog get put down after an incident that happened with his foster owner. He ended up biting a friend of hers and was brought back to the shelter. We wanted to give him another chance, but due to a positive heartworm test and his age, we had no other choice but to put him down, even though we treated him like family. He was a very sweet dog before he was temporarily adopted. I can't imagine what he's been through before we found him that made him bite someone else. I'll never forget how energetic he was while I fed him and took him outside, despite his condition. He died at around 8 years old.
Thank you for doing an episode like this. As an animal advocate, I would love to see more shows like this to bring awareness to the importance of knowing what you are getting into before bringing a fur baby into your home and to please consider adopting :)
the acting in this video is so amazing I literally teared up and cried when max was taken back till I realised she got max back. mair is such an amazing actor in this video along with most of the other actors this video was just amazing and impressive. I can relate to this very much of people disliking animals I was in that position once then found out animals also have feelings they should be treated just like how you want to be treated. they also have emotion most of ur content really does aim at me though I barely like to comment keep up the amazing work dhar ur inspiration is amazing to me and others

As a huge animal lover I honestly love the awareness in this video and all of the animals are so adorable and when I heard what happened to Mr. Puggles broke my heart but I’m glad he’s doing better and at a place he can call home, feel safe and get all the love he needs same with the other animals

When lockdown is started in my country, i started to feel stressed and depressed but one day my parent suprise me with dog and rabbits.. Well i have so many of them now.. Im taking care of my 3 cats 1 kitten and 2 adult cats, 1 puppy and 3 bunnies by myself.. My dad busy with work. My mom bz with house work while my bri being lazy and always on game 24hrs straight..
This is honestly my favorite Dhar Mann video. I heard about what happened after isolation with pets who were adopted & it made me sick. I hate that they were treated like a convenience rather than for love. I am a dog walker & have loved dogs ever since I was a child, I believe that dogs are one of the best gifts God ever gave to us ( besides kids of course😉). This was a good video. I like how Mair Mulroney did a good job playing the mean girl who was frustrated with her dog at first but then warmed up to him and made amends with everyone after she had a change of heart due to the lowly conditions of the animal shelters. She reminded me of Jack Nicholson in as good as it gets when he was the abrasive guy who mistreated the neighbor’s dog at first but then gradually warmed up to him. And also the way that Mair says “why do I even bother with anything anymore?” so melodramatically always makes me laugh lol. Mair should do more good girl roles or at least play an abrasive girl who successfully redeems herself and makes amends with her family and friends more often than just being an irredeemable mean girl in the Dhar Mann videos lol 😂 😂

15:53 I had a cat named Gizmo! She had anxiety and had escaped our house multiple times. It was difficult to get her back into the house each time. The last time we saw her was last summer, right before we went grocery shopping. She was sitting on my parents' bed, and since it was a hot day, my mom opened her bedroom window. When we got back from the store, she was nowhere to be seen and we haven't seen her since. As you guys may guess by my account name, I really love cats, and that explains why I own 7 others. Their names are Ashes (19 yrs old), Lybertie (Pronounced Liberty, 12 yrs old), Bear and Chevy (siblings, both are 5 yrs old), Gordy (3 yrs old), Harry (1 1/2 yrs old), and Angus (looks like a cow, 1 yr old this month). Anyway, loved this episode! Just thought I might share this small story as an inspiration for a newer episode! I think the lesson for this is like this episode, where just because animals may misbehave, they still deserve to be loved and have a home with a loving owner!
@@animebrat76 Yeah, it depends on the type of cat that you want, when it comes to the price. I have so many wild cats that all just gather around our house for food every morning! A couple of our indoor cats actually used to be wild! Bear and Chevy, along with their siblings, were abandoned by their mother in the back of my grandpa's trash trailer. Luckily, my grandpa spotted them and now we have Bear and Chevy. Then we have Gordy. She was just chillin on our front porch when my mom started to cuddle with her, and obviously said, "We are keeping her!" My step dad said the same thing with my kitten, Angus.

Amazing how somebody has to force you into a guilt trip just to keep an animal that's already been displaced. I don't think anybody should run a guilt trip. If a person doesn't want an animal it might be better that they're not with that person that can harm them or cause them abuse in some cases. But I love the story line it's a great one. I'm glad the dog is doing great and that's what's important in the end 🧐🤷🏼♀️🥴🤦🏻♀️👀🤯
I LOVED this video and to just think that so many dogs are in the pound is so so sad. I have 5 rescued dogs currently, but I have had 9 dogs and 1 cat that are all rescues in my whole life. It feels amazing to save a life, especially an animal. And honestly, to know that a dog has 7 days in the pound to find a home before they get put down.. And that's really sad considering that I want to do as much as I possibly can to save any animal I can because I'm such a HUGE animal lover. It's the one reason why I want to be a veterinarian. Please, think about adopting a dog or a cat. I've gotten hundreds of chicks and chickens (egg layers), 3 goats, 2 horses, 6 pigs, 5 dogs, 1 cat, and 8 birds. It feels awesome to help animals really. I'm sorry for such a long comment, but I just have a massive part of my heart for animals. Once again, (and I'm not the one to tell you that you need to adopt) I really recommend adopting a little fur baby's life. Thank you for reading if you made it this far❤️

As a huge animal lover I honestly love the awareness in this video and all of the animals are so adorable and when I heard what happened to Mr. Puggles broke my heart but I’m glad he’s doing better and at a place he can call home, feel safe and get all the love he needs same with the other animals

When lockdown is started in my country, i started to feel stressed and depressed but one day my parent suprise me with dog and rabbits.. Well i have so many of them now.. Im taking care of my 3 cats 1 kitten and 2 adult cats, 1 puppy and 3 bunnies by myself.. My dad busy with work. My mom bz with house work while my bri being lazy and always on game 24hrs straight..

This is honestly my favorite Dhar Mann video. I heard about what happened after isolation with pets who were adopted & it made me sick. I hate that they were treated like a convenience rather than for love. I am a dog walker & have loved dogs ever since I was a child, I believe that dogs are one of the best gifts God ever gave to us ( besides kids of course😉). She also made me laugh when she pouted, it was kinda funny how she acted. Great job all around, your videos are awesome!♥️

A dog is for life, not just lockdown. Typing this as I remember my dog, Dexter, he passed away long before the pandemic, but I wouldn't have given him up for anything and I used to hate dogs.

This was a good video. I like how Mair Mulroney did a good job playing the mean girl who was frustrated with her dog at first but then warmed up to him and made amends with everyone after she had a change of heart due to the lowly conditions of the animal shelters. She reminded me of Jack Nicholson in as good as it gets when he was the abrasive guy who mistreated the neighbor’s dog at first but then gradually warmed up to him. And also the way that Mair says “why do I even bother with anything anymore?” so melodramatically always makes me laugh lol. Mair should do more good girl roles or at least play an abrasive girl who successfully redeems herself and makes amends with her family and friends more often than just being an irredeemable mean girl in the Dhar Mann videos lol 😂 😂

15:53 I had a cat named Gizmo! She had anxiety and had escaped our house multiple times. It was difficult to get her back into the house each time. The last time we saw her was last summer, right before we went grocery shopping. She was sitting on my parents' bed, and since it was a hot day, my mom opened her bedroom window. When we got back from the store, she was nowhere to be seen and we haven't seen her since. As you guys may guess by my account name, I really love cats, and that explains why I own 7 others. Their names are Ashes (19 yrs old), Lybertie (Pronounced Liberty, 12 yrs old), Bear and Chevy (siblings, both are 5 yrs old), Gordy (3 yrs old), Harry (1 1/2 yrs old), and Angus (looks like a cow, 1 yr old this month). Anyway, loved this episode! Just thought I might share this small story as an inspiration for a newer episode! I think the lesson for this is like this episode, where just because animals may misbehave, they still deserve to be loved and have a home with a loving owner!

@@animebrat76 Yeah, it depends on the type of cat that you want, when it comes to the price. I have so many wild cats that all just gather around our house for food every morning! A couple of our indoor cats actually used to be wild! Bear and Chevy, along with their siblings, were abandoned by their mother in the back of my grandpa's trash trailer. Luckily, my grandpa spotted them and now we have Bear and Chevy. Then we have Gordy. She was just chillin on our front porch when my mom started to cuddle with her, and obviously said, "We are keeping her!" My step dad said the same thing with my kitten, Angus.

Amazing how somebody has to force you into a guilt trip just to keep an animal that's already been displaced. I don't think anybody should run a guilt trip. If a person doesn't want an animal it might be better that they're not with that person that can harm them or cause them abuse in some cases. But I love the story line it's a great one. I'm glad the dog is doing great and that's what's important in the end 🧐🤷🏼♀️🥴🤦🏻♀️👀🤯

I LOVED this video and to just think that so many dogs are in the pound is so so sad. I have 5 rescued dogs currently, but I have had 9 dogs and 1 cat that are all rescues in my whole life. It feels amazing to save a life, especially an animal. And honestly, to know that a dog has 7 days in the pound to find a home before they get put down.. And that's really sad considering that I want to do as much as I possibly can to save any animal I can because I'm such a HUGE animal lover. It's the one reason why I want to be a veterinarian. Please, think about adopting a dog or a cat. I've gotten hundreds of chicks and chickens (egg layers), 3 goats, 2 horses, 6 pigs, 5 dogs, 1 cat, and 8 birds. It feels awesome to help animals really. I'm sorry for such a long comment, but I just have a massive part of my heart for animals. Once again, (and I'm not the one to tell you that you need to adopt) I really recommend adopting a little fur baby's life. Thank you for reading if you made it this far❤️
